- Are you impressed that I've been uploading videos weekly for 5 weeks now? Because I am! This is a lot of work! But I've been having fun doing it.
This week something really special is happening, and I go into detail explaining why it's so special. And I get a little emotional along the way.

I have never felt the slightest urge to have children and birth stories tell me I made the right choice, lol. Saying that, I'm so glad you got to have the experience you wanted, I know it isn't always the case.

I loved hearing your birth story! I've had 3 of my kids at home and they were quick too at 5, 3 and 2 hours. My husband caught all 3. They were definitely the most beautiful experiences. Happy first birthday to you and sweet Martha! 💗🎂🥳

Thank you so much. It can be a really scary thing for sure. But when you change your mindset and focus on what is really happening, it's pretty incredible.

Oh my God Lisha makes me mushy and I'm pretty non mushy. I pride myself on not being mushy. But she does it! I also think to myself she is the perfect match for the Mr. Rogers of Reptiles!
I love the opening of the explanation of prayer and wanting this experience, faith and positivity-- I would never know how to discuss that but Lisha is so gentle and sharing it connects me to it.
Wait there's more! Daddy busted out the turtles 🐢to make it perfect ohmyword! 🥰
This made me teary. Clint read it in the car while we were driving and my little heart sunk in humility and love. Thank you so much for sharing.
@Why Not Me? I'm a fan of both Laidlaws!! This is yours, so while I wanted you to know I'm a reptile room fan, I was here for you and what you were putting out there. I'm so touched my comment resonated with you..... I suppose I paid the sentiment forward bc your content stirred and moved somethings in me! It's like it gives permission to someone, no matter how they normally conduct or perceive themselves, to surrender to some of the softer and more ideals based feelings they may have surrounding such a major life experience! I'm actually tackling something myself, and I find a part of this helps me meet the challenge 😊 it takes courage to share so much of yourself, so thank you. Don't let the internet ruin our rough that up!

Thank you for sharing your story, it made me feel like I was there. Both times I gave birth they had to be csection. I always felt like I was missing something. After hearing your story, I finally feel like I'm not missing anything. That is the closest I will ever get to being in the birthing room. My son using having kids and my stepdaughter had to have csection also or I would have been able too see my granddaughter born.
