Outstanding Tutorial! I've had my GV80 for a month and despite multiple electronic tutorials from Genesis and and calls to their Concierge Service, I still had a number of questions and your tutorial was done in a detailed, practical and organized format answering most of my questions. Genesis should include your tutorial with every GV80 sale. And YES, my GV80 is everything I hoped for in a vehicle.
Just bought 2023 gv80 and am totally confused but with this I am going to have fun setting up my vehicle.

Good video! To add to the auto open hatch feature, it will only open if you stand there a few seconds after the 2 beeps. It will NOT open if you walk to your side door (even if you walk slowly). If you stand behind it, it beeps twice, stand still and it beeps again then opens. GREAT FEATURE, because you don’t have to do the “one leg, wave your foot” dance. If you stand at the rear of your GV80, it will beep twice to warn you basically “hey I’m opening it if you stay there”. Great info in this video! LOVE MY GV80!! (Advanced +)

Fantastic! I watched the whole thing, paused and took notes, and tried everything on my car. Made everything clear and simple. Got rid of my S550 Mercedes because it was too complicated. SO happy with this Genesis. WIsh they still had the 8 cyl though.

I just bought my GV80 a few days ago here in AZ. Love the vehicle, the solid feel it provides and how quiet it is. Makes driving a pleasure. The seats on the Top Notch 3.5t are very comfortable, on all the other models, the seats are quite firm, almost to firm. Hoping they soften up and break in. Otherwise, really enjoy it.
I meant to commnet, the Video is great. as I was going through it, there is one software change I see from the 2021 to the 2023, under vehcile, driver assisatnce and Smart Cruise control. that option is no longer available for anyone looking for it. Hopefully they bring it back.

At 150W, you def can't plug a hair dryer into the back outlet. You can use a laptop, etc. with ease though. Other than that, a great overview for any new owner which I am. I picked up Savile/Dune Prestige GV80 3 days ago. I've been following the development of this SUV long before it came out and finally decided to get one which was not easy since there is a shortage. I had to drive almost 30 miles from my house to the only dealer near LA that had the spec I wanted (I actually wanted dark grey but the Savile is very nice). I traded in my Tesla Model S which may seem a bit crazy but the GV80 is more luxurious than that car and I kinda miss having an SUV (I traded in a Cayenne S for the Tesla). I've only driven it about 50 mi so far but I'm enjoying it for sure. I had already configured it but this video helped for sure with a few quirks I had to figure out so THANKS.
Imagine having to drive 535 mile to get your gv80! Not me ,I having it shipped ..750 but so worth it.
I had the same difficulty locating my Uyuni While/Black int 3.5 Advanced. So Cal has very few in this color combo, so it was like a treasure hunt. I drove 25 miles to the dealership that got it in a trade and ... brought her home two days ago!

Very Well done thank you. Just wondering if a picture can be uploaded into the GV80 for a custom wallpaper picture. I've put your video into my phone for '' on the road '' tips by going through the chapters you've provided instead of going through the owners manual. One thing I'd recommend is to apply the parking brake before putting the car in park, so that the transmission is not doing all the work to hold the car in place on a hill for instance and I guess if someone hits the car while parked - just my two cents worth.
Can you also do a tutorial for the gv70 2.5
Feel like when stuff breaks its going to be super expensive all these added electronics. The air arrow touch screens feel like they ld eventually break.
I noticed that when you did the audio, it only had 3 options. Does this vehicle not have a subwoofer?
I tried to follow all steps of video to make sure everything is set to what video suggests. I have failed and now have to call my 34 year old son to reset everything. I find my 47 Dodge pickup easier to operate. What has happened to knobs and buttons? Eric N

The power window switch also operates the shade. Just lift it once the window is raised and the shade will rise. Push it down and it will lower.
How do you turn the beeping off everytime you touch the screen
All that tech keeps your eyes off the road..now i just started watching this vid but maybe they shouldve added a heads up display like fighter jets?

I don't know why anyone would say the infotainment wheel is difficult to use.
it's a little different and people fear new things. I've had a similar COMAND dial on the Mercedes I've had since 2012 so I think it'd be easy to adjust.
How do you get city view theme on the main home screen?
