Just got this exhaust for my yamaha; thanks for making this vid; ive watched it a couple of times to prep for the install. I wish you would have left the drilling of the db killers in the vid though!
Absolutely wonderful video. You should probably keep a big piece of cardboard or something though to roll your parts around on. I was cringing a little bit every time the titanium was on the concrete. Great job!!!
Another awesome video by you man.. learned quite a few about exhausts. Bike sounds like a completely different beast. Can’t wait for the motovlog. Well, you’ve done it again. Dropped another great one. Like always, stay safe, keep em coming, Reaper out!
Another great vid as usual. Great job on the bike, it's coming along nicely. I just put my toce exhaust on. I was learning while doing it. But I'm proud of myself for learning and not paying a shop
10:31 Haha! XD Am I safe to assume you don't have the same noise restrictions as we do in Europe then? I gotta say the new exhaust looks a lot better, and sounds awesome too. Looking forward to hearing it on the road.
Question, how do you keep the exhaust pipes so clean? (Stock exhaust) Did you treat them before using the bike or what type of care are you giving them? Great sound and love the profile. Thanks.
Nice video! It would be great if you could do a video on how you removed the db-killer and how to modify it so the db-killer can be easily removed and installed secure with a screw or something.
@@hvkrev2 :))) You´re right! For me putting it back is important, because I go on a lot of trips to different counties and I don´t want to get into trouble 2000km away from home because of this. ...and on the racetrack I have no need for a db-killer.
Should have used a piece of wood from the rear to tap it out to avoid damaging the DB killer then can be belt sanded around the edges so it can be replaced with a screw & nut welded to the DB killer like the Euro 3 version
@@pgtips9236 I don´t think you can do that. At least on the euro4 version not. Because the inside of the muffler is not empty, so you can't reach the killer.
I own the full titanium Akrapovic exhaust for my 2014 FZ-09, and in my opinion it is too loud with the baffle out for the rider. It sounds good with the baffle in, but I would like it to be a bit louder. I am wondering, will drilling holes into the baffle will slowly add additional volume?
Just drilled out the weld, no way in hell i got the db killer out, got it moving a little from side to side, but it will not come out whatever i do. Any suggestion ?
I have a problem and i need help. I recently bought a 2018 MT09 with a full carbon akrapovic exhaust system on the bike. There are two previous owner before me. The second owner which is the previous owner i bought the bike from said that the bike was installed and tuned by the dealership that the original first owner bought it from. I don’t trust the knowledge of the second owner about the history of the bike. But the bike look brand new around 2000 miles on the odometer when i bought it. My problem is when i was riding the bike and sitting in a stop light and the bike is idling when i give it a little rev from stand still on neutral. The bike would stall from a stand still neutral geared position. The engine would just shut off. The engine would stall from neutral gear and idle about 2 times out of 10 tries (it dose not stall everytime in that situation but only 2/10). I do not know if the dealer even installed the full exhaust and tuned it. I think someone is lying. i think the original owner which is the first owner bought and installed the full akrapovic exhaust without having it tuned but i am just speculating. What should i do? Is it just a tuning problem or could it be something else or much more worse? And the bike already has 2000 miles when i bought it and i guess it was running in that state. Your help would be appreciated. Thanks
The note to Egor moment is hilarious. haha

Get it flashed!!!! Vcyclenut does a great flash! You just gotta send your ecu to him! Get it flashed so you don’t mess up the valves!!!
Next time try leaving the headers loose. That might have given you enough room to slide that bad boy on. Sounds good.
love the flame pop.
Is this legal in SoCal with the db killer removed?
Love the flame it shoots out
Buddy, does your bike runs lean after changed the stock exhaust? Also, have you tunned your fuel system? Cheers!

Did you tune your FZ?
aahh that sound ....
There is a full titanium version.
I have a question. Is it required to get an ecu flash on the bike after getting this installed?
Hello, do you have the catalyst? Thank you very much
Got yourself a flame thrower now!
How big drill did you use to get the dbkiller out?

You can cut the length of the pipes sticking out of the DB killer. That'll give you a bit more sound.
How long did it take to do the full install?
If you had the bike on the sidestand, the weight of the bike would push the rear wheel away enough so you wouldn't have to take of the rear tire.
Its like a dragon. Nice

Thanks, made a vice grip slide hammer and it came out easy, no need for JB weld
Well this channel is gonna make my wallet hate me
