I am sure he had both male and female mannerisms but did not matter in thick of battle. We are human first before gender or we should be. Nonetheless, I related a lot to what he said in his speech about consciously knowing that you are not the one to blame but still finding reason to do so. Thoughts like “It wasn’t my fault, but I could’ve done this and that to prevent it or stop it”. If the first 3 episodes made me like the show, episode 4 brought up something inside me that made me love it. Beautifully executed; the show deserves its ranking

I don't agree with the title of this video, specifically, the "mental breakdown" aspect. Richard bravely shared his most vulnerable self. He articulated his regrets, his healing, and coming to terms with his new identity. I don't see this as a man breaking down mentally but healing (catharsis?) by sharing his most vulnerable thoughts. Kudos to him and I think this is something that not only folks suffering from the trauma he experienced, but others who are scared to share, find acceptance for what they consider weaknesses they'll be judged by, can find helpful. Baby Reindeer is a great show on many levels.

This is way more impactful and interesting than the dramatized breakdown in Baby Reindeer, I really have no idea why Richard Gadd didn't just repeat it line for line. He's a lot more likable and relatable here.
Plus, it's framed as if it was spur of the moment in the show, but he says here that he was planning to reveal everything about his s.a live beforehand - coz his monkey brain tried to stop him. I understand artistic licence, all that - but this kinda calls into question the framing of everything else in the show for me.

I don't see any records of Fiona's arrests, no first hand witness accounts or testimonials, and I do think 41000 emails could be embellished.
Based on a true story is one thing- but to declare that everything is 100% true when the people involved say it's not true is a conflict and needs to be rectified with fact.
There are phone/email/voicemail records- why not prove that it is 100% true or not.

Actually the Roman-Italians that occupied Israel from the jews 1000 years ago calls Israel "Palestina" and that became main part of the fictional history of those Palestinians so called, most of the Palestinian people are land workers from Jordan and Egypt that the Romans put in Israel back then so the jews will cannot return from Europe.

He still needs healing. Taking on confused sexual feelings after a massive sexual trauma is a very normal trauma response. Hell, after mine I thought becoming a stripper was "taking my power back." That was a long and self-abusive road to walk down, but I finally got real help, and God healed what the world couldn't. That being said, the message that his abuse is somehow excusable because now he has a penchant for trans woman is super concerning. 🤨
And Sam Bain should never work anywhere ever again. Name him, shame him, charge him if possible. Abusers dont stop, they just find new victims.

How does loving a trans person have anything to do with this? You've missed the point entirely. If anything, Teri is a beam of light. She's been through the pain as a trans woman in this shit society. She understands his pain and he rose above her victimhood. That's why he loved her; she was truly loving him for him.

This is all real and men have started coming out with SA significantly more since this came out. Honestly him acting all of that out was one of the bravest things I’ve seen someone do in a long time, it’s not like it made him look good.
