I jumped off the stands to run to the bathroom and I just saw Sam, standing there, in-between crowds with maybe one or two people seeing him. Golden opportunity to go shake his hand, I loved seeing that smile in real life! He truly is just happy to be alive and high on life!

When it seems like just a group of guys who are screwing around its a lot more enjoyable to watch.
Next one at Newport Speedway in Newport TN, track was abandoned for years and bought back in April and he is pouring money into it. Would be a great story to help him reboot it!

The north east is absolutely starved for racing. It shows by the crowd. 20k people there is insane. WE NEED MORE TRACKS.. Glad Youre coming back next year, I will be there for sure
The SE isn't any better. Our local race track, that opened in the 60's, was recently sold to be turned into warehouses. The area around it developed and its proximity to the local shipping port made it highly desirable for commercial use. It was 149 acres and the sale price was not made public, but rumors are it was well over $50M. So I can't really blame the owners for cashing out on the land, but it stinks for the rest of us. They had top fuel there a few months before it closed, and there were events there year round, both the drag strip and race track. I believe Cleetus bought some of the grandstands from that track when it closed.

we almost got an Indycar race in the seaport district, and tickets even went on sale, but the organizer was a fraud so it got cancelled last minute

I would love a new asphalt track in Western New York, or even more so a legit rally course. There is Watkins Glenn which is cool but i don't believe they do grass roots events.
Same with the NW, id say in general its not what it used to be. Used to be hydroplane races all the time in lake Washington, not anymore.

@@Adamgreen735 no not the ones that there using. They are using custom drones that are not automatic there is a person flying them

@lyndajones1133 yeah they are custom FPV drones you fly with a helmet that is recieving a signal from a camera and transmitter. Properly the DJI FPV system with an an air unit since the announcers said they could see the stream. There is also a GoPro attached to the top of the drone. To keep up the drone has 2306 motors and a 6s lipo.

Absolutely sick race again and top-notch production. Its incredibly refreshing to see a group of people that figured out how to make fun and hobbies into a career that millions can follow. Two thumbs way up for the killer content. My wife and I will be in florida for the christmas tree drags on our anniversary again this year. Regarding the "where to next" question though, Slinger Wisconsin has laid claim to "the world's fastest quarter mile oval" hosting hundreds of racers all the way up to Matt Kenseth... would be pretty neat to see you leave your mark there with all the greats of the past.
Let me just say I was one of the 1st people into the gates that day. I showed up at like 11:30ish a.m. and from the minute I pulled into the parking lot till the minute I left the parking lot at 12:30ish a.m. I had the greatest time of my life! Greatest show I’ve ever been to. I had more fun than I could ever explain and I even got to meet Cleeter, he gave me a fist bump, took a pic with me, and signed my shirt! Btw he’s waaaaaay taller in person which is saying a lot. I even stayed a bit to just watch them move cars and ended up getting to talk with Zack and Kevin Smith. They all the coolest people ever. Cleeter is the first idol of mine I’ve ever met and it was the best experience I’ve ever had. Not only that, but I’ve seen some pretty freaking amazing firework shows throughout my life and Cleeter easily blew all of them out of the water and straight up stomped all over them. My only wish was that I wasn’t so damn star struck to meet Cleeter that I could actually talk and ask him for a job like I’d wanted too, but my brain literally turned to mush. Thanks again Cleeter for the greatest day of my life and I can’t wait to see you guys again next year!

As a pizza maker for 25 years born and raised here in New Haven, I gotta say, this whole video just warms my heart brother! Thanks for coming to CT and can't wait for next year! I've also left several comments over the years saying how awesome it would be to set up a pizza shop at the Freedom Factory along with a pizza truck (with a 532! lol maybe not) to bring to the events. That would be an absolute dream job making some Freedom Pies!

I was at this race, and it was fucking incredible. The racing, the action, the energy in the crowd, the food, even the shenanigans in the parking lot when we were leaving (such as the kei truck with 6 dudes in it and an absurdly tall umbrella on the roof trying to squeeze through traffic)

I was at this event! Let me start off by saying thank you! We never get any if these fun events up in our neck of the woods especially CT! My wife and I had such an awesome time and will definitely be coming back if you guys do it again! I was right behind the flagger in the grandstands and let me tell you that Hell Yeah Brother literally shook the place! He's good but I think everyone still holds a little bit of a grudge from him almost taking out the whole pack, I know I did for a little bit too.
He has professional experience; there are videos of him working on a racing team. He wins and is consistently proven. How is he not getting recognition? What is up with his fans being like this? When he caused one of the worst wrecks, taking out #1 and #2, including a NASCAR driver, with both drivers physically hurt, his fans acted like it was a tragedy only for Kevin and his feelings, because he looked so down about it. Some couldn't handle it and blamed the guy he hit. He's a good guy but what in the world do his fans drink to be like this? He has no ego but his fans bring it for him. It's not normal to actually believe your fan favorite is better than everyone, including pro drivers; it's weird and repulsive.

Awesome show! Fireworks were absolutely insane! If y’all are coming back next year, I’m definitely camping and staying the whole weekend! Sitting in that parking lot for an hour and a half after the show sucked.
I flew to the Freedom Factory 2 years ago to watch the Freedom 500. This race was 90 min from my house and was so fun. Garrett and crew did their usual and was super accessible and put on a show. I'll be back next year!!!

We attended both days and were absolutely blown away by the production. I can't say enough about the show, the facility, and the jaw dropping pyro display you put on. Cleetus, this was my first 'cleetus' event as i live way up north all the time. Loved it! thank you so much for braving the northlands to bring us your awesomeness. i loved every single second of it, as well as Stafford Speedway. do more events in the north!! loved meeting Derek, as well as the surprises of Matt and Robby! I had the absolute best time there and maybe this fella has to take a trip down south soon! Kevin did get a break that time, but he raced his ass off and kind of deserved the W. I thought is was cool to see Kevin, Brent and Cleeter holding down the lead among pro drivers. That trio has performed well soo many times and it is cool to see old friends duking it out.

From what I saw Kevin jumped every restart he drove his ass off but to say he deserved the win is a stretch not to mention him spinning himself out

@@irvingguillen7218the leader is the one who restarts the race after a caution, not the flagger. There are two lines across the track and we have to restart somewhere between those two lines.
I think each race should have one random fan that races with yall. Pick them in a contest a few weeks before so you can make sure they are competent enough to race.
This race looked super fun. I remember back wanting to enter my RX7 into some dirt track races. You are single handedly bringing it back to when is was a blast to drive. Hell yea Brother.. Keep it up.
I stuck my FC Rx7 on a dirt track once and it hated me for so long after that. I mean hate and rage after that run. 22 minutes in and it told me to go f myself for the next year lmao

Dude, just watching this and paying attention to the FPV...damn those guys can fly!!! Also, amazing the drone can hang at those speeds so tightly and not fall off. Serious props to the crew behind that outfit.
...Meanwhile, Cleet literally tooting his own horn. 😂 Considering how many times KSR's been stiffed from other drivers spinning him at the last second, he earned this one regardless! Props to everyone driving as it seemed like most people were on point and kept from aggravating pileups/dodging cars when they got out of shape!

Cleetus, I forgot how much I liked racing. My brother had his b car in our backyard under the carport. Weekends he and guy who lived across the street would haul that b car to West Memphis dirt track. My racing consisted of learning to road hog my bike. Thanks again.
At this point I'm convinced that Kevin is a 0.01% driver that just happened to not go pro.

Hes 100% a “pro” driver…. Look who hes run out in front of successfully….tons of huge names! And this style of racing, with these cars makes the racing skill that much more obvious! You could put kevin, cleetus or pastrana in any world class racing event and would most likely qualify(pastrana has obviously proved this) plus….after watching KSRs channel its pretty obvious he is very intelligent and can apply that to his racing as well!

Make sure you watch Kevin’s video. He explains why he was so good on the restarts and what line he was trying to drive. There’s a reason why he has won 5 of these events.
