Way to go Zach! Tony looked like he was a teenager again after that race. I sincerely hope he comes back, and I hope we see some other all stars out there mixing it up. FWIW this kind of racing is way more relevant to me than the multi million dollar cup cars will ever be. Pretty sure there is a market for a touring series (hitting up tracks that have fallen on hard times). Just a thought.
Guys…Derek from VICE GRIP can DRIVE ! If you guys haven’t notice, he missed his calling this guy is a racer ! I raced many years on dirt , then spent a few years on banked 3/8 oval and I know a good driver when I see one. Next time you select you finish board , you may want to place Derek a little closer to top 3 or 2 . Just my humble opinion . Great show and congrats to you Zach . Well done bud !
Have you noticed how much better he's done in the last two where he had no power steering? I think it makes him more focused, and it's easier to not over correct. It's like being a gunfighter, you gotta make every move count.
Derek remains the most underrated. Zach was, not anymore. Seeing him and Tye hug was amazing. They REALLY need to put together an elite event. Only top, proven amateurs and pros, and give them high quality stock cars. That would be freaking action. Sucked to see another bad break like JH this time.
Cleetus is by far the most entertaining creator out there. I dont comment often but I had to comment how much I enjoy his videos. I wish this man nothing but continued success.

First of all, congrats to Zach. Secondly, I have watched Tony since the Busch days and his entire Cup career, alot of people gave him flack in the Cup series about how aggressive he was but over those years and even now he reminds me of Dale Sr. back in the 80's. I follow his UA-cam channel and follow what he is doing in the NHRA and he truly is a racers racer that is humble and loves racing no matter what it is.
Tony's been through it all, everything racing has to offer, the good, the bad, the ugly, the victory, the tragedy, the grind, the guy's earned his stripes and become something legendary.

But what I'm trying to say, is that my late son Bobby would watch 1320 videos and we daydreamed about building a car. then you went and made your first video and I've follow you ever since. Thanks for the ride. I get excited watching you and you crew get excited. Once again, Congrats on your success and keep em coming!.. Cheers Brother.. (Oh and... Zach is a wheel man!) He's famous now..
Oh and I'm a year long freedom plus subscriber..

I don’t watch nascar but this grass roots racing had me riveted to the edge of my seat. No pro teams, no billion dollar budgets, just a bunch of guys in identical cars white knuckling like the good ol days of stock car. I’m here for it!
This is what NASCAR use to be.
Love to see Zach get some shine like this. What a night for him.
Also, Tony spun Tony.
Yeah I think he came into that turn a lil to hot lol
It wasn't intentional it wasn't unintentional
Zach got into Tony, of course Tony tried to pin him down… but Zach got into Tony
Congratulations Zach. 100% deserves it. Hell of a race and showed a lot of patience
Holy smokes boys ! I got goose bumps watching this one!
Go Zach GOOO!
Good race, good show, un like the 500 were jh's win is questionable, like he had the car before the race and worked on the car before the race, he out drove everyone for once, like realy 🤔
Smoke said the exact words I wanted to hear as a fan. "Win, loose or wreck, that's the most fun I've had in a race car in a long time...". Such a good dude and a fantastic competitor. He constantly pushes to keep racing of all kinds a great American passion. I hope to see him in a Crown Victoria again soon.
Zach is a legend now. So stoked for him. And the fact that Stewart wants to come back just shows how awesome these events are.
Hearing Tony Stewart say, "That was the most fun racing Ive had in a long time" was epic!
“there goes my money burning” 😂 and soo happy for zack
Exactly why I stopped buying fireworks.
It was a great firework show. I smiled ear to ear the entire time.
@@porkrind
I used to spend $1000+ on fireworks every year, until I burned my hand last year & ended up with a $8K hospital bill. The wife was not amused. 😂
Been saying it for years, the things guys like you, Derek, Fin/Freiburger, and Tony Angelo are doing for grassroots motor sports and car culture as a whole are super important, keep up the good work!

Seeing an actual racing star commenting and complimenting on what you're doing for fans of the sport really brought a year to my eye brother. The excitement I had watching this was on a whole nother level, can't wait to see the next one and hopefully in person.
This Indy event was BY FAR the MOST entertainment dollar for dollar I’ve ever spent in my 33 years on this beautiful planet. Thank you Garrett and everyone who helped put this together. See you next year brother
The fireworks show was on point! Better than some county shows I’ve went to.
@@aaronsunday2358 agreed. Being from a small town in Indiana, we don’t see this kinda show too often.
@@aaronsunday2358
Yes! I’d say it was the best I’ve seen!
Been a race official at a track for 15 years now. Zach did an amazing job. Held his line when Tony dove for the bottom to pressure him. Awesome race Awesome win. Awesome job Zach.
💯% 🇺🇸🏁
Looked like he even tried to turn away from him when he noticed him coming down but it was too late, crazy race.
Yeah Stewart definitely dive-bombed him and paid the price.
Been racing for 30 years myself. Zach didn't wreck anybody. That was just racing contact. He held his line
@@nickmaclachlan5178 i'm thinking he did it on purpose though.
It was so amazing to race with Tony!! Then the fact Zach got around him the last lap!! Legendary!! Such an Amazing weekend!
Brent, you are such a good dude and always positive! Great Racing out there brother!!
What’s up Brent!!!!
Brent, you're a legend. I wish I had half the shit you knew in my head.
But, can he win backwards in reverse? 😂
I was able to meet Tony a couple times when I worked in Columbus. The dude is an absolute legend and a super down-to-earth guy. Absolutely loved seeing him in this video.
Tony Stewart was so excited to be there! Hes not alone in thinking nascar has gone wrong in their ways. He just wanted to enter a good old fashioned race. No points just talent
Edit: I don’t keep up with the events of people and or really care. Neither did I know of his recent tragedy. there is a lot worse people in this world… I was just excited to see a prominent name in racing have such a good time. But I’m glad I got to stir the pot….
Og stock racing
Tony will race anything. I bet he enjoyed it even more than he’s putting on. I know he’s a busy man but I bet we see him again in a crown Vic
sad to see anyone give tony stewart the time of day after he killed that kid. no he should not have been out of his car, but Tony obviously swerved towards him, probably didn't mean to hit him, but it is still involuntary manslaughter and he should be in jail.

Dude, the livestream quality is unbelievable. That looked like watching a TV broadcast, and the commentators were great. Seriously impressive what you guys have been able to do with the broadcasts.
I was on the edge of my seat screaming the whole race. Way to go Zack. This would be a story I would tell to anyone who would listen for the rest of my life. My grandkid’s kids would know this story. 🎉😂
Cleetus is bringing motorsport back! Most race series feel like watching a golf match.
Tony, you are such a class act. All the respect in the world for you. Thanks for not letting your fans down. You showed your incredible skills making your way to the lead in so few laps. We know you could have won this you brought such excitement to this race, Thank you for that. Congrats Zach! What a race!
He's mentioned he grew up racing, but he always ends up with a crap car that gets outrun on the straights🤔
Guy can wheel for sure!
@@michaelscott-joynt3215 agree 100% !
Cleetus is by far the most entertaining creator out there. I dont comment often but I had to comment how much I enjoy his videos. I wish this man nothing but continued success.
That was visually the best racing I have ever seen. Drifting, crashes, absolute BATTLES! So awesome. Having smoke come out and put on an absolute smokeshow was sick!
I haven't seen Nascar racing like that in over 20 years! It's no wonder Stewart had such a blast! He would do this every Friday night if he could...Cleet is really moving and shaking things in the racing world!
I am watching NASCAR and all I am thinking is the Indy 800 was 10 times as fun as the product NASCAR puts out. Great people in the booth the show was a blast to watch hell even the fire works just made it special , Worth every dime I pay for the Pay per view the 10 billion shirts I have . Cleetus has created a community that the "pros" would kill for !!!!!!
Cleet puts on fun stuff. But come on
. .001 win today at Kansas what a frikin race. Gotta say amazing show and it was fun seeing Tony turn again lol
I played this in 2x and felt like NASCAR 😂
Nascar made history today
Tony Stewart is a genuine a racer as you will ever find. Great job Zack you have done something most people never will ever get the chance to do. Racing door to door with a legend. Congratulations
AND WIN !

Under rated comment. funny
Zack didn't spin him out. He held his line and Tony came down on him. He hoped to intimidate him and Zack said NOPE...NOT TODAY.

Exactly the point of contact is not even close to anything that could be considered being spun out at all
Tony didn't mind , he knew

Tony respects the Hell out of Zach for that ending. He was totally expecting him to lift and it would have been game over.
He even said its the most fun his had racing in years.
@dontask8979 yes sir he knows the deal , respect earned fur zach
One thing I haven't seen mentioned in the comments was both Zack and Tony were spraying NOS in the battle for a few of the last laps. Either Tony got his game on and forgot about the NOS as he isn't used to it, or he blew his tank earlier racing Zack. Zack was still on his button until the last few seconds whether his had any left or not. That was some serious racing I watched it on Freedom+...thank goodness I renewed last month!!
Congrats Zach!! Everyone is all smiles and I love it! Thank you to the whole McFarland crew for such awesome entertainment!!
Congratz Zach!! Clean Fing finish! I wish Ed could have been here to pace the race in Neighbor.
Why did i read that as cleanfing😂
Yep ran his line and then Tony came down
@@wobblysauce Yeah when Tony was coming down it looks like when he braked it pulled him into Zach and all it took was a lite kiss to get himself loose.
I cant imagine what it was like having a legitimate nascar hall of famer come out, and not only race, but tell you how awesome it was to be out there. Cleet mustve been humbled to hear that. What a great job theyve been doing with these events, the future is looking bright for sure!
I’m so happy for Zach. He needed that new engine and he raced his heart out for it! It’s good to see Cleets boys get some shine too. Tony definitely added to the spice of the race and he wasn’t a sore loser. It’d be good to have him back.
Zach is a true winner at Indy racing a legend. Congrats to Zach and the entire crew for putting epic events like this put there for drivers and fans. You could tell how much a legend Nascardriver enjoyed racing like this. God bless y'all and greetings from Holland
That is freakin awesome having Tony Stewart race with you all!!! He was my favorite driver growing up, had a signed poster on my wall, hats, toy cars etc. . . when i was a kid. Crazy watching him how good he still is at driving. If he didnt collide he was gonna take the W. Cant wait to see him come back, and see what other drivers come through.
Zak "Fire" Walker, out guns Tony "Smoke" Stewert to stake claim to the Indy 800 on the last turn.

And how about the hilarious finish to the VanPrix.
Congrats also to Derek (VGG) and Jackstand Jimmy for their podium finishes.

I have been a Joe Gibbs fan ever since he first coached the Redskins in the 1980's.
For him to go into Nascar racing and win, then sign Tony Stewart. Damn.
And to follow all the things Tony has done in his career. To now see him do a race with Cleetus is just icing on the cake.
What a race! Congratulations to Zach! This is what we need. Positive events, positive people supporting each other! Love it!
Just love what this is all about. You guys bring back the fun in racing sport. Enjoying this BIG time. Cheers from Holland. ❤
