1 mandatory pit, with a minimum time required so they aren't so rushed. It's about the racing, not making the poor pit crew rush spilling fuel or dropping cars.
Combining several ideas mentioned below: *Make the drivers get out and use the jack to change their own tires* and, *Drivers don't get new tires, if they want to change the front-right, they have to swap it with another tire already on the car* . Would make it a lot more exciting and strategic, to not run the tire right to the ragged edge, since even after you change it you're still driving on it.

Cleetus you've created a whole new class of racing, VIC STOCK. It would be interesting to see how these do with a little bit of stagger to hep with some of the turn in and understeer. Not real scientific stagger but everyone gets a spacer plate or fronts on the inside rears on the outside. No science just giggles. For pit and fuel stops you should go the way of the 24HR of Lemons. Everyone has a pit crew of their friends/team to do it. 4 Tire changers, a jack man, a fuel man, and use Bristol's marshalls. Pit stops are performed at a standstill, engine off, one side at a time and they can only be performed in a pit stall area in the infield. Most of these drivers don't know how to pit lane so to keep the danger down and the risk of injury down it's a very slow slow-lane speed. Only once tires are changed and the car is dropped can you add fuel, or do fuel first. Weld in jack plates to make getting the sides up easier. Penalties for lost lugnuts are time against the team $$ to charity. No airguns, electric impacts only to prevent issues with hoses being dragged. Pit speed violation means you're done period, no penalties, you're out.

Hey Cleeter, The concrete would have more added stuff to make it thicker (sand, Portland, mortar mixes, it may have been something like shotcrete for pools. If the mud is thick enough you can form a wall with a OSB particle board on one side only and it will stick to itself and build a wall up on it. Concrete is rated by slump so it's like a plastic tube of mud and you remove the tube and see if it stands on it own. That's a low slump concrete like less than a 3 inch diameter slump probably

Maybe see if any of the drivers have friends or family that help work on cars, and ask if they would help with the pit situation? Could decrease pit times and allow more drivers to pit at once without having a long wait. That or like another comment I saw, have an intermission at around the 50 lap mark to allow drivers a few to recuperate, hit the bathroom, and rehydrate while the cars are serviced. I know it gets hot in those racing suits, and being able to take a short break mid race to get some fresh air and cool off would be a good thing for most of the guys.

Maybe do a mandatory caution in a predetermined number of laps so they can stagger the pit crew need. Draw at random when each driver will pit prerace and adjust accordingly like stadium trucks when an accident caution comes out to not over caution… like Indy lol.
Kevin is a beast, dude. He can fix 'em, build 'em, and drive 'em with almost equal proficiency which is a very high bar. The man is massively talented, not surrpised he was setting fast times.
For the pit strategy. How about a 50 lap intermission/ pit. That way everyone has the same chances with no variables. Bring them in,refuel offer tires, bathroom break, meanwhile have some entertainment for the crowd.
Thats too even, pit stops should be difficult and have strategy to them. If they all get a pee pee break , gas and new tires, then its boring i think. They need to do random pit stops so they are spread out and on different tires and have a chance of either gaining good ground or losing several spots!! LOL
@@isaaccan3155 but a real man just holds his unit up and lets it drain out the drivers window!! LOL i wouldnt know this from experience but ive been told this....
Start all the cars with a 1/2 of a tank AND give the option of stopping for that front right tire. The drivers will need to pit for fuel at their discretion. If there's a line on pit road for fuel it's their own fault and may alter the original plan from fuel only to fuel and that right side tire to be more aggressive getting back on the lead lap.
They don’t really have the pit crew to try and do actual pit stops. What they should do is basically just run however many laps then bring everybody into the pits. Then you can take the time to refuel them and change any tires. They’re fleet cars so should at least keep them decently even.
@@NBSV1 You might as well just run a shorter race if you're going to force everybody into the pit at once. Unless it is only the two drivers who get to touch the car in the pit.
@@hostak1026 The same place as other series that do similar things. They can compete and strategize on the track. This isn't some pro level racing where everybody has a whole team that prepped the car and can crew the race. If you make it competitive pit stops then it opens up a whole list of things you'd have to make rules for and police along with possible insurance issues since you'd have way more people in danger. Even just simple things like what kind of impact gun they use can make a huge difference in the stops.

There's been crown vic classes around the country. Called Spec Crown Vic or Spec Panther.
@@aclark092 That's awesome! I remember at my local ovals seeing some vics about a decade ago in some of the "fun races" around fair time and at the end of the year but never saw spec crown up where I live. Neat to know!
Been watching your videos for a long time and my 4yr old son likes watching them with me. The other day this happened…
Aunt: “Beau, who’s your favorite race car driver?!”
Mom: “oh he doesn’t really know names of race car drivers.”
Beau: without skipping a beat, “Cleetus McFarland!!!!”
Fella keeps it real!
this is crazy how you went from just a small channel where you put whacky things on cars to now THIS!!!
genuinely Cleetus needs some kind of award for putting a freaking amazing show on for the people!
Cleetus needs to know that almost every video I watch I usually have a Mountain Dew by my side but for some reason I didn't have one this time and that's a tough break but don't worry every time I forget I will Force myself to grow my mullet another inch and that's not a joke! I am growing a mullet (every inch gives me an extra 10 HP riding my bicycle LOL)
a true motorsport entertainer..
OMG! George doing the matrix thing made me laugh harder than I legit have in forever! 🤣 My freaking cheeks hurt so bad!
I checked for "Matrix" to see if anyone else had the same reaction! I rewound it a few times and laughed as hard each time! haha
Living in Bristol seeing how surprised everyone is by the track is really cool to see a different perspective
Yeah when your used to it. I went for the dirt races and it blew my mind
Driving on the track at Christmas for the lights is fun... riding in their passenger vans for the tour around the track is a blast too when the seats clank around
Same. Can't wait!
Always great to see a feller on another fellers channel! I wonder if Derek will get a decent rig this time.
Can't wait to see Cleetus on Roman's podcast. Definitely gonna be epic.
I'd think about putting a minimum pit time limit on the stops, don't want to risk a fuel spill.
Bristol May have refueling rules that need to be accounted for. Proper valves and dispensers. They have insurance too, and despite everyone wanting to have fun, they have to be as safe as possible.
They should make a pit stop minimum time limit to like 2 min for safety. Also 1 minimum stop mandatory.
@daymobrown just a heads up ur almost at 500 comments on Cleetus’s channnel! 3 more to 500!
I can see it ending up being a red flag intermission
@@dustyc324 likely engine off before fuel goes in.
Always good to see KSR Kevin on the channel
Love the content Cleetus and crew!! Live pit stops sound super dangerous. Break it into sprints Nascar style or Just have an intermission halfway through. The races are exciting enough. No need to risk someone’s safety for a pit stop. Love the channel!
I love how Roman is all "there's alot of seats in here" while Derek is more "what can I change from the last race to win this one" lol
Different between someone thats 100% competitive in nature and someone that’s only goal in life is to have fun
So good to finally see the crew back together .can't wait for dragraceing to fire back up .!!!
and this is why he just hit 3 mil recently...
every second of content is too hard to miss
I think everybody should draw numbers, either a 1 or a 2!
And can pit in the first or second group depending on your number!
And with that number you get to pit between 30 & 40 or 60 & 70 laps!
(trades shouldn’t be allowed)
Pits are also allowed during caution
Look at ole cleeter doing R&D before the big race! Great job man, can't wait to watch the race!!
I live 20 minutes from BMS, so I'm definitely excited for this. A lot of my favorite content creators are gonna be here which seems unreal.
Hey Cleeter,
The concrete would have more added stuff to make it thicker (sand, Portland, mortar mixes, it may have been something like shotcrete for pools.
Yeah that’s exactly what it is I understand it but i can’t explain anything worth a lick so was hoping someone knew how to explain it
@@54raceman I know what you mean because I don't know much of anything but I'm good at rexplaining and rewording what others have taught me.
Cleet telling his grandkids stories: "...yeah and then one time the goon boys wanted me to jump their viper car with a stadium truck, so, that's what we did..."
His grandkids will be asking their mom and dad if papa cleeter is full of crap or if he was really that cool when he was younger and making videos on that old youtube thing they used to have!!
Cleet: How’s the safety barrier?
JH: I’m fine…
Cleet:🤔
Facts i saw that too lol
I cannot wait for the Bristol 1000 I cannot wait for Cletus in cars this was the whole reason I paid $99 for the year was to get the crown Vic braces the danger ranger and all the Cletus and cars my schedule is hectic at least I can watch it on the phone live this is one of the things I look forward to everyday hearing from Cletus and the crew
That’s one hell of a speedway. Hats off to Cleetus for making this event happen. Ford may have to bring back the old Ford Crown Vic after this race.
Crown Vic. Best police package ever. Carried me through my career
I have to old police crown Vic’s that I still drive today for fun. Love them wish they would bring them back
Cleeter thanks so much for takin us along on this amazing ride!!!! Freakin actual stock car racing…I love it!!!! Hope the people show up big time for ya!!!!
Hell yeah brother!!! I'm so amped from Bristol!!! It's going to be my first in person event.
Can’t wait to see the Goonzquad race, love watching their vids!
I started watching when you bought Ruby. You have gained learned and grew so much since. Proud of you man. Keep up the amazing work
So pumped u got the goonzquad boys in. Gunna be an awesome race
Robbie Gordon going to have obstacles to jump now after what Cleetus did!

Max Gordon will wreck them all and win it than.

30 min vid after a 11 hour shift is what i needed thanks cleet for your hard work !!!!!!
Kevin Smith doing test laps is solid.
And this video is crazy
Yeah i hope people understand how much he is helping with this. He put in probably the same amount of laps to figure out all the dynamics and test the cars. The guy is a stud.
The leveling up this past 2 years is impressive
Backing up your own event by proving it. That there says a lot. Way to go Garret. Awesome 👏
Kevin is honestly an amazing driver.
thanks🙏 for being an active fan hit me up🔝you have being selected among the winners on my giveaway ❤️💗💖💝💯
I wanted to see him take the Viper for some hot laps.
I can't believe how durable those crown vics are . Downright impressive.

21:38 anyone know how fast the speedo is reading?
@@feelinghealingfrequences7179 60-65 MPH
The way the bass syncs with the turns at 21:00 is so satisfying.
I would love to see dirt tracked crown vics! Also add side by side and trophy trucks for that dirt.. so much room for activities!
I’m not 1 to blow money on something I can’t physically hold in my hands for the rest of my life.. that being said, I paid for a suite to attend to this event! This is going to go down in history like Woodstock did in 1969 and everyone hears the stories, looking forward to attend an event that will be looked back in history as something that changed everything.. hopefully!
Let me in and we will make the story's tons of acid and coca cola just like eoodstock....Woodstock.
It's not "blowing money" if you're paying for a memory brother. I spent my last $100 on OSU/Michigan tickets in 2006 when they were #1 & #2 in the country. I'll never forget rushing the field after the win. That $100 would have been long forgotten if it went towards something tangible. Have fun at the race brother!
@@scotts1668 @david miller @Kevin Kurkey;
A. quite obvious, clear, certain None of You are old enough to have participated in the 1969 Woodstock event - even brought as a baby
B. obviously You have NO idea what the Woodstock event was, involved, the affect(s), expression, participation, meaning and value to that generation, the performers, artists, musicians, etc.
C. Woodstock was NOT an Entertainment Event - NO money cost, payments, benefits to, for the musicians, performers, any promoters, etc.
=>thus, NO connection with these type of Entertainment Events which are for monetary benefits, value, with costs for tickets, 'pay view', etc.
->this type of event, along with all of the Cleetus McFarland Racing Events are for the Entertainment which generates monetary benefits and promotes the "Reckless Society"-"Chaos" within the Generation - just as their channel and nearly all of the selected, chosen participants(s) and exclusions of those which are actually involved with proper racing focus -> not just the "Wild N Crazy" aspects as primary results.
I think it’ll be a good event but come on dude. It won’t be Woodstock 69. Lol
@@davidmiller-zf8zl Go Bucks! That was a hell of a game!
Bristol is Awsome. I live here and love this track. I have had my car on it during Christmas lights it's crazy steep!!!! Can't wait to watch
I love that JH got the first wreck award so early in the event.
And it surprised nobody the only surprising part was it wasn’t actually his fault this time
@@54raceman 😂😂😂
Maybe see if any of the drivers have friends or family that help work on cars, and ask if they would help with the pit situation? Could decrease pit times and allow more drivers to pit at once without having a long wait. That or like another comment I saw, have an intermission at around the 50 lap mark to allow drivers a few to recuperate, hit the bathroom, and rehydrate while the cars are serviced. I know it gets hot in those racing suits, and being able to take a short break mid race to get some fresh air and cool off would be a good thing for most of the guys.
Glad to finally see the Goonzquad finally out there. Epic as always by the Freedom crew
Love the post-it-note on the cluster "Cleetus, I did NOT get insurance on this rental car" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Glad to see the tires I just bought for my car can handle the abuse you gave them. They should be great for daily driving then.
Fantastic work again mate. And that's why you are Huge the world over. Very approachable people. You and the freedom crew. Cheers from down under mate.
You’re gonna need a pilots license for some of those jumps! Can’t wait to watch the race
He has his pilots license so i think he is clear for take off !!
They’re not gonna be airing them out to that extent during the race he was mainly jumping that far to test and make sure there’s wiggle room incase of mistakes (the trucks are much faster on the ground than they are in the air)
Cleetus is such a legend, you know he went out there to test the durability to ensure his fans get the best show possible.
Ill be making my way into the states soon just to come to one of his events.
The time lapse of Bristol made me laugh so hard im not even sure why but its just so funny god i cant want to have a chance to come see you guys live! Been trying to save up and come see yalls but life keeps getting in my way! One day!!! Thank you for sharing this amazing experience with us cleeter!
Always appreciate you Cleetus and love the channel still and go get those bald eagles 🦅 hell yeah brother 😉 hope the team and everyone doing well. Long live the v8 😃
When that truck came off the high bank and hammered down on the straight all I could think of was Cole Trickle test driving Rowdy’s car for the first time. Hell Yeah Brother!
LMAO @ 13:08 when George calls out the Goonzuad for the viper alarm going off
That’s funny when Alan has to leave him a note to be nice to the rental car that they did not get the insurance, LOL
thanks for being an active fan
send a direct message🔝 i have a package for you
I think Cleetus has a lifetime ban from one of the rental companies. Can't imagine why🤪
Congratulations on everything good in your life brother! I remember when you were screwing around with Coop putting those whistles in the c7 exhaust tips lmao and to see you guys now and what you's have created is insanity. YOU GET TO RACE AT BRISTOL!!! I appreciate everything that had to be done to get you here. Salute.
I freakin love the post it note on the speedos “ Cletus, We did NOT (Heavy emphasis on the not) Get insurance on this rental car” Mae me chuckle. I think its hilarious they gotta let ya boy know so he doesn’t rip er to hard. Absolute gold 4:32
How would anyone rent this man a car and NOT opt for the insurance! Lol
I'm smiling so hard my cheeks hurt watching this video. I can't wait to see this in person!
Love the content brother , watching since you started with whistles in the exhaust ,,, watch you grow from the days just starting out with leroy to where you are know , love all the content ,, you have done amazing things ,,,,, can't wait to see leroy completely done and on the track again
HELL YEAH BROTHER !!!!!
If I had coin to go this I would be there in a heart beat. That said, I'll be watching on the ppv. This going to be so sick.🏁💯
LOL
Real racers pee in their driving suit.
@@isaaccan3155 but a real man just holds his unit up and lets it drain out the drivers window!! LOL i wouldnt know this from experience but ive been told this....
By splitting it up he’s spreading the work load on the limited amount of pit guys he has instead of killing them making them do every car at once
@@54raceman plus makes it fun.
Never thought i would see this channel become a give away channel!!!!
It promotes sales in the store, and helps them keep making content. If you don't enjoy the content, you're welcome to leave.
never thought I would see people bitching about free content! OH wait it happens every video! Thanks for being a part of it!
There's not one thing that cleetus isn't good at 👏.
Absolute beast. Hell yeah brotha
That Viper sounded the dogs bollocks rolling round the speedway! Insane car
@@NBSV1 Where's the competitiveness and strategy in that?
@@hostak1026 The same place as other series that do similar things. They can compete and strategize on the track. This isn't some pro level racing where everybody has a whole team that prepped the car and can crew the race.
If you make it competitive pit stops then it opens up a whole list of things you'd have to make rules for and police along with possible insurance issues since you'd have way more people in danger. Even just simple things like what kind of impact gun they use can make a huge difference in the stops.
