    The intro looks good Josh. I've been procrastinating on doing one myself lol. I'm about to get a methanol setup myself. I'll probably inject before or after the throttle body like mosr but I think the best injection point would be after the compressor blades like I've seen with some other setups so I'll look into doing that later. Your times look good, I know your gonna get faster for sure. My local track is only 1/8th mile so I'm gonna have to find a good spot to do 1/4 mile runs. Anyway glad to see you back filming bro 👍🏽

      Thank you Corey! Pre TB is added benefit of sealing the rotors better and cooling them. After the rotors, the cylinders would see the meth sooner. Thanks man, I appreciate it!

      @@SuitedUp2The9s Yeah I was thinking the wmi would cool the rotors down but I think most of the wmi would evaporate from the heat at that point so I thought it might be more beneficial to inject above or just below the intercoolers to get the benefit of "more fuel" with a ported charger with a high pulley ratio. I'll be new to running meth though so I'm trying to learn as much as possible.

    • @SuitedUp2The9s
      @SuitedUp2The9s  6 місяців тому +1

      @cmidas3396 evaporate, probably yes, but thats just a state change from liquid mist it got sprayed in as. The meth and water would now be in vapour form, still there.

    • @cmidas3396
      @cmidas3396 6 місяців тому

      @@SuitedUp2The9s Yeah pretty much steam/gas/vapor but also hotter than injecting after the rotors. I'm no expert though and I haven't seen compared data between the different injection points to see if the squeeze is worth the juice. With the fueling solution coming out at some point its probably best to inject before the rotors to cool them down so best overall setup at that point.

    Thinking about divorcing my system so this info and your previous video were very helpful. I don’t track my car and already run 66% distilled and 33% coolant so I don’t think divorcing and running pure distilled is worth while. I also live in a cold climate with freezing and I don’t want to worry about divorcing seasonally. What do you think?

    • @SuitedUp2The9s
      @SuitedUp2The9s  5 місяців тому +1

      It'll still give gains. Overall if you're not chasing the last bit of performance, yeah probably not worth the time and effort. That is what I did when I put my winter tires on, married the system back together and put the 50:50 mix back in. I'm going to divorce it again this next month or so again. Not sure if what I'll do with it in the fall again. And the changes of the mix is important as you know too. So if it's not worth your time it's not worth your time. And that's A-ok.

    • @frededwards2749
      @frededwards2749 5 місяців тому

      @@SuitedUp2The9s Changes of the mix meaning the ratio of distilled water and coolant right? I run the 66 distilled 33 coolant because I figure it’s slightly better than 50/50 for efficiency, maybe 90% or so. I think I will just upgrade the pump to a cwa100 and call it there. Not wanting to get every bit of performance just wanting good reliable power for a daily

    • @SuitedUp2The9s
      @SuitedUp2The9s  5 місяців тому +1

      @frededwards2749 Yeah, that's correct. Yeah, definitely upgrade the pump, that'll be gains year round all the time. Especially unpinned the pwm. I have had mine unpinned for several years now and it's still flawless

    quick question what are your thoughts on jackal tune? I went jackal with my b7 s4 and for the a6 they only charge $75 to flash another car so most likely I will stay with jackal, but i wanted to know your thoughts on jackal and reasons for not running it

      @andyrizzle7637 2 місяці тому

      @SuitedUp2The9s why are you using such a small nozzle? Snows chart shows you should be using a 625ml/min nozzle.

      @andyrizzle7637 thats all I needed, for this video. In the fall I changed it up. I am running a #6 now, the 375ml and have the controller set at a higher peak psi that I won't hit so I don't spray the full amount. Makes the nozzle able to be a few different sizes for me in a range
