- I spend about a half hour just doing the same damn tricks over and over and counted the frames they took to finally answer: What the hell is the fastest way to open a balisong?
If you have any comments about my methodology or if you think you know a faster trick, comment! Also, if you think you can do faster, upload a video! Prove me wrong!

We need to get more balis in your hand again! For some unboxings and reviews. Like some high end stuff would be cool.
I've got some backlogs of balisongs I can review, but been focusing on my professional life a bit! But I appreciate the suggestion, I can get to work on that!
news could take this .634 seconds opening as DEADLY and DANGEROUS knives
Sick vid, however I think maybe in the right hands the pinch one couldddd be faster, since we most of us have a shitton of experience with the QuickDraw, meaning we as very efficient and quick with it, however maybe in the right hands the pinch one could be faster, additionally the swing of the balisong could have an effect on the results, since you can basically do a QuickDraw on any balisong no matter how shit the swing is, whereas you can maybe only get the pinch one very fast on something with impeccable swing, still a great test btw!
The quickdraw is the only practical fast opening. I mean, if a rope is wrapped around my foot and about to drag me off the boat, I'm not tossing the knife up in the air before cutting the rope. (laughs) And how much longer does it take to properly position one to begin the pinch trick? With the quickdraw, you just grab the knife and ready to go.
@@elchicharron9503 I agree that in a survival situation the QuickDraw is better, but no sane mind would even use a balisong in a survival situation I do agree though, the QuickDraw is generally a lot more efficient when just showing someone a balisong or smth
@@nuclearflame3855 you're not wrong. I could spend some more time mastering that quicksnap trick. I feel like it has great potential, but 8 frames was the best I could get
@@MonsieurBalisong yeah, I think the quick snap trick does have high potential to far exceed the speed of a QuickDraw
@@nuclearflame3855 You know, if I had to cut my own arm off because it was pinned by a boulder in the widerness, it would be perfectly sane to use a balisong if it's the only thing within reach. And who among us would go for a long hike without our favorite bali? Of course, I get your point (laughs).
Oh I thought it was a live
Lol no worries! Just a premiere. They look super similar tho
Latch drop on a benchmade 32. I would be shocked if you don’t chop a frame or more off.
I sold my BM32! Unfortunate! Latch drop could be super quick though especially on a small balisong now that I think of it
It's called The Oscar: ua-cam.com/video/qTr7xGsIXcI/v-deo.html
Sup
how's about a spy opening? Not the fastest one,but it should be on the list
The basic spy opening is fast, definitely faster than the basic opening! But definitely not at the speed of the 2 I tested
@@MonsieurBalisong ok cool
