I used to have a Bali Song brand butterfly knife it cost me $318.00 back in 02 or 03 I think sold it for $300.00 12 yrs later cause at that time I was told it was an illegal carry!!! Cause of it being a gravity open or action or whatever!!! Shouldn't have of course!!! And it made a lot less noise than the ones you have there almost silent as a matter of fact!!!! I think it was carried by Benchmade at that time??? Or the box it came in was from Benchmade. Also mine had a lock that worked for both open and closed positions.
@@switchbeck6673 Yes the latch was spring loaded looking like a round button in lock position. And would actually click in place. And when the handles where squeezed together it would pop open for flipping either shut or open. Surprisingly strongly built knife. Mine was the titanium model with the holes in the handles. It was on sale at the time 20% off so I walked out for $318.00 total. I wore it for twelve years and hardly ever drew it except for utility. I customized the sheath too hang horizontal across the middle of back belt loop with three sheath loopes. The belt loop was between the bottom of the sheath loop and second sheath loop. So putting it on and taking it off was a bit time consuming but loved the location for quick draw. It was velcro shut black nylon.
Yeah, tbh the coating on the spine sucks. The knife was gorgeous, but doing any tricks with the spine the coating just created to much friction with made everything feel slow and bad. Ended up returning it to BHQ. My first and last bali with a coated blade.
also, this video was really relaxing, keep up the awesome work :D
Thank youu just traded the bas

Yea even if illegal in my state I’m still carrying in my bag or whatever
@@ki__inn conceal carry for knives is legal everywhere assuming you're 18 at least
@@ki__inn in states like Georgia and Texas, you can just open carry
Sounds like a bnechmade 4x series, probably spring latch

Bought the nami second hand but and bringing it into squid for maintenance
Dude your nami sounded incredible what prod? Is it prod3 or 4?
prod 4 no weights
So cool

Tang pins over zen pins everyday imo. Much better control on tang pins from my experience
Really zen pins I prefer since in the long run they can be replaced
Plus since zen pins are hidden they give better control while I’m manipulating
I'm kind of having the same exact problem with the basilisk the spine's a little rough
Yep hard to do some tricks due to it
