These videos calm me down like nothing else. I love to just listen to your thoughts and flip along with you. Keep it up 💪🏻
Thank you so much!
Totally agree

i think one of my favorite thing about machinewise knives is how long and thin they are, they feel huge but not in a chunky way, just in a sleek and slim way. absolutely love my maryn light, i NEED to try the serif
what you said about machinewise starting to make balisongs because of your videos is awesome
It's SO COOL right????
Visited the US and got to try a couple Machinewise balis, very impressed! Sucks to live in Europe but hope with time, when he expand the brand, he will start shipping internationally and make a trainer version
He got trainer versions now
That balisong sounds amazing.
I absolutely love the sound of the serif and I think it sounds just a bit better than the tsunami. Thank you for making this video, I haven’t seen too much videos on the serif.
4:00 sheeesh that pinky helix scissor though!!!!!
i remember when machine wise first started makin balis for the most part, I still have his delta 5t and his delta 4(delta 5t aluminum? the precursor) when I flipped a serif for the first time, I was blown away, he has come so far from what he has begun with that if you put his first bali right next to the serif, you wouldn't think they were the same maker.
I saw this vid on my recommended page not knowing it was u. As soon at the video started I was like "hm, he sounds familiar... OH ITS WILL, YAY!!!"
It sounds reaally good
Yooo this thing is awesome
I'm not big on telling people how to run their stuff, but it'd be cool if you did reviews on nrb nemesis v2 and vortex v2 when they come out and maybe try the fly ti lucha handles? Great videos, love seeing em👍
He has a flytanium lucha review already
@@icedfiregd5538 no not the aluminium, I'm talking the titanium scales
Yes!
@@nickwest3423 I'd love to get a pair
@@WillHirschFlips so i just ordered my lucha from your videos on it and i do plan on getting the titanium handles so if on the offchance i get mine before you id be willing to send them to you to borrow and do a review with if you were up to the offer
SPIDER KNIFE BALISONJG SPOTLIGHT

Machinewise really is built different, serif jumped to my #1 flipper within the first 5 minutes of trying it and I’m still loving it. Beats any other knife (especially grails) out of the water
such a cool knife
I love the sound the serif makes every time he catches it
Looks beautiful will 😍
I love how machinewise went from the chunky delta 4 to the long, delicate, sleek serif
his videos remind me of how some people act while on a long phone call, he's just randomly standing on a picnic table.
This color is absolutely stunning. 👌🏽
I started watching your channel like 2 month ago cause I wanna learn how to flip... already have 6 balis and today I got a Serif 😂. Thanks Will
I like how he throws it in the air and catches it
That’s a aerial
We want the tutorials all of these tricks bro
It’s just rollovers and chaps so you could look it up they are so nice looking tho
*adds Serif to "must buy in 2022" list*
A cool video would to go through ur trick knowledge and ranking on how hard they are
Oh great idea!
I love ur links to excel sheets and websites, ur one of the best reviewers no cap, gonna subscribe
What a beautiful blade 😩
Well I guess this just got added to my shopping list
1:51 oh damn are you really Mr.Metamask?
I can't wait to save up sum $ and cop one of these
I love my sn 4 serif
just got pulled from the list and i am so excited to try it out. order number 2077 the cyberpunk number.

SERIF
I'm seething with envy
Dang I’m gonna have to save
can you do a tutorial of the combo you did at 2:22?
the serif will be mine
Oh my god very cool!!
Sounds like glass 😳
Big words = Big brain
what made you want to get into butter fly knives
That knife is $700! 😳🤯
Will we see a bali shorts or full review on this beauty?
Fill review! It's worth it
Damn bro ur so good at flipping, what was the last time u got cut?
I stabbed my finger two days ago with my HOM Basalisk but other then that not too often!
Was a very minor stab too, haha
@@WillHirschFlips its so satisfying and humbling at the same time to watch this. Its kinda beautiful too. I hope ill get there in the future. I find it really fascinating when someones really, i mean really got at something. Doesnt matter if itspen spinning, or balisong flipping.
Do you know the weight? I like the tsunami mainly cuz I love light balis and would like to know. Thanks
Around 4oz I think! I forget the specifics though but it's pretty light!
Your new grail?
Also what's the trick you messed up? 😳
I'd be scared to flip a Serif over that concrete 😵
What kinda mic do you use? I really enjoy it
It's the built in mic on my camera! Sounds amazingly good, I use the DJI Pocket 2 camera
what kind of people/flipper should buy a serif?
Hi Will. Could you update your rankings "The BS Score List by Will Hirsch and Brandon Baker" with the SvixCo trainers, Zephyr and Gale? I'm very curious on where you rank the two.
Worst cut I ever got was with my serif 15 to 20 minutes after getting it I wasn’t used to a blade that long and it stabbed the webbing between my thumb and index finger still love it though
Oh snap I got a ti mod kraken trainer that I want to swap with an inked Bowie blade. I've been worried about messing up the screws. Micro fiber cloth in between huh? Imma try it
Why dont machinewise do international shipping?
Machinemaster Sewif uwu
bring back spider knife🙏
I lubed my bali but after i lubed it it was all over the handles so it was slippery is that normal?😶
Why can’t I get it through machinewise site?
If you think about it, you inspired him to create
So in a way, you made this balisong happen
Honestly, the only thing that beats this is the fidget mech.
The grip on the handle reminds me of the Talisong Z. Would you agree?
Kinda! It's a lot more subtle than the Talisong Z, feels much more like the original Talisong to me
@@WillHirschFlips nice! I will definitely consider getting one. That thing looks gorgeous btw!
How does an ELB pro flipper compare to this in terms of build quality ?
Pretty similar in terms of build quality and tolerances!
The pro flipper has more polish, plus the IKBS Bearings are next level, but overall quality up there for both of them
I would say the EX10 is closer though!
I would love to purchase one but I’m broke. Btw dose it run on bushings?
I was looking at a jimpy sentinel. Is this worth the price increase? Been looking for a titanium flipper to upgrade from my Flyti Lucha.
they are both great. sentinel sounds even better (i have nrb version)
Love the colour of the anodization, do you know what voltage blue it is?
Looks high voltage edging into teal. Probably between 85 and 90v
Oh if I had just waited a bit longer, he says exactly what it is. It's teal with blackening applied to give it an iridescent purple under certain light
It's two tone, one pass of high volt teal, then a tumble, then a low volt purple on top
@@WillHirschFlips Thanks!!! I love how the light refracts off the handles, totally rad!!
@@WillHirschFlips oh interesting. I didn't know he tumbled it after anodizing, that's smart
🤠👍
Have you checked out the Alien by The One yet?

@@eytanlevine2802 you're thinking of the stiched steel alien, the one alien is completely different
Ohh ok sorry miss read it
Yes! Brandon bought one to review and it's pretty good!
yoooo my names daelin
That is an issue with squids knives. They are VERY tight and not that easy to put back together once you take em apart. Quality is amazing don't get me wrong...but the fit is extremely tight. This does help with tolerances though.
The Nami and I have something in common
We weren’t meant to be made.
The tsunami will be amazing once they stop making what almost seems like intentionally bad ones to ramp up the already nuts price on the actually good ones in the future.
How much are they going for? Another super rare and way too expensive grail, or nah?
I'm sure the tolerances are going to be great before any knife is sent to will for review.
You'd be surprised XD
Matrix, nope. Kraken, nope. DDR Gemini, nope. Sure there are others but those are just the ones I remember. Even though the first 2 I listed were known by the makers to be review units going to Will they had issues. He had to send the matrix back.
@@thedimmadumdoughboy7347 in Will's kraken review he says the tolerances are really good
@@lordofluckgaming9740 they are, but the bushings were undersized. It was washer tuned, I'm saying to original commenter that there are multiple instances of quality control failing even on units known to be going to reviewers like Will, so no in fact they won't always be great before they're sent to Will.
Your description of the order fulfillment process as “most fair” echos what the website claims is the motivation for random order fulfillment, but it seems to be a confused conceptualization of “fairness.”
The success of Machinewize in terms of demand will punish those who place orders since every person who orders decreases any one persons chance that their order will be filled.
I imagine this is actually a gimmick that is somehow intended to keep order volume up until means of production are improved.
Example:
Will H. Makes quality videos because he has done the legwork necessary to learn about video production and as a result is “tuned in” to the video production industry in a way that others are not. When industry innovations hit the market, Will H. Is the first to hear about them and has the opportunity to purchase them first, which also means that first availability is awarded to Will and those like him. In this way, good resources are awarded first to those who are most competent to use them, and the quality of video available to the public increases rapidly.
This is preferable to a system where Will H. Is the third person to place an order but has to wait a year because 1000 orders come in after him, among whom are people who are casual and occasional video recorders with money to burn who only heard about the product after news of it became more mainstream and appeared in targeted advertising. And so the improvement of video quality available to the public slows dramatically.
15:00 i disagree, the selection system is flawed (and i own a serif)
Somebody who signed up the day of the drop could be waiting a year or more for a serif while somebody who signs up today could get theirs tomorrow. Random isn’t always fair, especially since there’s a possibility of NEVER being drawn, as people who win a serif can sign up for another. Machinewise needs to address this issue.
It's not always fair, but it's generally equally unfair to all
Machinewise can't really make it any more fair until he is able to produce more knives, but right now it's not possible so that's the system we have
@@WillHirschFlips What I mean by that is based on when you sign up you should be assigned a group, and then within that group the lotto is drawn. I discussed this idea with MW and he mentioned it was an option. All i’m getting at is if you’ve been waiting on the list for a serif since day one you should have a higher probability of getting one than someone who signs up today. Alternatively give people who have been waiting the longest two entries** so that they get an additional roll to be selected, and stop allowing people who have already been selected in the lotto from re-entering.
@@WillHirschFlips I just talked to Deylan he said that people from all date ranges are selected when he draws winners from the lotto. IE people who have been waiting since the beginning are being drawn consistently, as are people who signed up recently. I think that’s fair.
@@agquagwisvquwgavwj one option would be getting an additional entry for each week you've been waiting/not selected. so someone who's been waiting 10 weeks would have 10 times the chance of getting a drop as the person who's been waiting for one week. myself i'm not a fan of randomness and i'd prefer if they just did shipping in order of ordering, but i think this could be a compromise
