- How to screen record in the Vision Pro in both 1080p or 4k resolution using Screen Record with 2 different methods. The easy method for 1080p video capture inside the Vision Pro, or the 2nd method for 4k 30fps capture using Xcode and Developer Capture

Thanks for showing off this process! I can't 100% confirm this but I've heard elsewhere that recording via Xcode and Developer Mode disables foveated rendering in favor for higher res/sharper captures. This can cause some sluggishness on the device depending on what all you're running as it's using more processing power. If you find this is indeed the case please let us know!
Yes it does appear that recording in Xcode / Developer Mode is disabling foveated rendering. In those captures you can see the entire screen in much more details. And yes it is using a lot more processing power, which is also why it's being limited to 1 minute recordings!

Great video! One question, I try to stop recording, instead of opening the control center and hit the record button, I want to tap the red status bar at the top of my view but I can't find the status bar? and I also don't the status bar in your video.
How can you record a movie watching experience in any of the streaming apps while using environments? Or sports events using ESPN or Paramount? I just want to record a few seconds for illustration purposes.
I need to be near my MAC to do recordings and always needs to activate it from there?
On method 1, how can we record voiceover also?

Did you notice that Screen recording in the Vision Pro itself records a smaller field of view? For example When laying on my bed I can see my feet through the Vision Pro but when I record the actual footage shows a way smaller frame of view.

Hello . I succeeded in recording 4k on the actual device, but I found out that there is a one-minute limit. Is there anyone who has succeeded in recording methods without time limit?
I don’t think there’s a way yet! But there’s no limit if you record directly in the headset, at the 1080p resolution

Hilarious how Apple fans react to Apple's first VR headset. It's like Apple has invented VR LOL.
There have been VR headsets for 8 years!!!. The current headsets ($400) are as good/bad as the Apple VR headset ($3500).
You can't even wear glasse with the Apple headset for crying out loud!! There are hardly any apps for this device. There will be NO UA-cam and NO NETFLIX apps.
Meta Quest has thousands and thousands of apps. Gaming, travel and tourism, VR shopping, 3D movies, 360 degree games, education and sooooooooooo much more.
The Apple headset is ridiculous expensive and very limited. APPLE MARKETING AND APPLE FANBOYS.
no they aren't. The resolution of AVP is much higher than earlier devices. You can see the difference in 1 second of use.
