I am new to Dinner Party Tonight. I started watching in November and am on my 2nd time going through the episodes. I have to be careful as I have been know to watch numerous shows well into the wee hours of the morning. I find them all so delightful! I love the idea of entertaining, but don't do it often enough. This Monday, Valentine's Day, our Granddaughter and her guy are coming for brunch. Her idea. We are going to decorate and fix a special brunch for our men. Then we will play some dominoes after. I am so looking forward to it. Your shows have brought back the delight in entertaining for me. Thank you so very much.

I've been cleaning and organizing the last couple of months to help me stay busy. I lost my sweet precious Mother November 30th. I love to cook, and I love the dinner party format because it’s one thing to know how to make a dish, but it’s another skill to know what to make with it. Good day to you Randy I certainly enjoyed your video today with your comments about just everything in your kitchen and your cleaning advice, I use microfiber towels to clean my kitchen and then I ran some out with a DIY cleaner and then I put them in the microwave for about 40 to 45 seconds and sanitize them, they do go in the washing machine after one or two more uses, And I use baking soda and vinegar to clean my drains in my kitchen I also use vinegar that is infused with citrus peels that has been sitting in my cabinet in a mason jar for about a week and it’s very effective for cleaning and as far as the organization I used bands in my refrigerator in my cabinets and I have zones where I keep containers that will hold the things that I used daily on my counter near my stove and my sink is right next to my dishwasher and I do disassemble my dishwasher on the bottom and clean it about once a month and then I run the dishwasher with a glass of vinegar in the top rack and I keep it cleaned out or wiped out after each use. Thank you for all your great kitchen Tips and your culinary skills and your tips on candles, setting the table, and just general dining etiquette, I really enjoy your videos and I enjoy your sense of humor

this was such an enjoyable video--I got to scratch my inner Monica Gellar! I am *not* closeted about this. AND J'ADORE! I have not thought about that commercial in ages. when I first got into scents I was ALL ABOUT Love's Baby Soft MUSK. I have yet to find its match anywhere on the market. it was not popular, sadly. thank you for reminding us that stronger light and warmer days are the ideal time to do a total refresh

love~ try a drop or two of a favorite essential oil with baking soda. Scented candles clash with the aromas of the food you're serving. I limit scented candles to the powder room. Santo Palo wood is an inviting scent to burn lightly before guests arrive.

Fabulous perfume commercial! Great tip on the candle and foil, I’m doing that. I got so tired of throwing out the perfumed wax after the wick had burned out I bought an electric wax burner and I pour the last of the wax in that and enjoy it several more nights.

Thanks for all the kitchen cleaning and organizing tips. One thing I learned years ago from my Mom is to clean the kitchen, bathroom and then vacuum before a dinner party. If you have to scrub your whole house before a party you'd probably wouldn't entertain.. it should be fun. And also I had read to spray a cleaner by the front door and as your guests come in they get the "essance" that your house is freshly cleaned. P.S. Loved your perfume commercial!
This was superbly done! I have never enjoyed a video of tips and tricks for home keeping as much. Your perfume commercial was hysterical - you're right, that was the best perfume commercial ever. The best thing was the tip to prevent tunneling in your candles - cannot tell you how much expensive scented wax I have disposed of because it was hopeless, or so I thought! As always Randy it's a treat to see your latest video offering on its premiere day. Here's a quick suggestion for a possible future episode: I received a FANTASTIC Xmas gift of a Sous Vide cooker and I'm so into it. It's a whole new way to cook and I'm loving using it!
Hi Randy, Loved this episode, thank you! I also love scented candles but always worry about my quests who have scent allergies. In Canada it has almost become not PC to wear perfume or use scents in your home. Do you know if these very high end candles perhaps are non allergenic? I like using bee's wax candles, which are non allergenic but they are the. only one's I'm sure won't affect my friend who is susceptible to migraines. Thanks
Loved this! I'd love to know the brand(s) of tee shirts you wear, short & longer sleeved. As a fellow "tee shirt broad" it is what I'm most myself in. Perfume - new find (for me) is Santal 33. Smells like dill pickles in top notes but becomes magic, smelling like ~quiet wealth~ hours later.
