I believe a lot of Companies only want to know what new product ideas are floating out there, if they find that an idea could potentialy and seriously influence their market share in a specific product line or it could expand that market share significantly then you can start to count yourself in. A new product line, that has not yet been market driven, then you going to have a harder time getting in. Improving on already competive product lines, is the sweet spot!
One at a time! Master the process, and you can apply it to your next ideas. You will become more confident that you can do this once you go through all the 10 steps.

What someone should just make clear to everyone is ideas are only for people who have money. If you're jobless and don't have friends and/or family willing to throw a bunch of money at these people, you're not getting anywhere. Ideas are only for people who already have money
You might have an idea and it could be worth something, but it takes work on your part to get it started. First do your own search and see it it's already out there.
Hi. Thank you for your video and advice. I am working on a Prototype right now and it's been on my mind for years to start on it. There are 3 words which stay with me all the time and they are "Decision, Action, Result" !. Make the right decisions, put in the Action and get Results. My Invention came to me years ago and i spoke about it to my parents and they laughed at first and after a while they said to me "That's a Great idea" and would benefit thousands of people. So like i said before, i am finally starting to make a Prototype the best i can and then search for a company that will take on my Invention and hopefully be successful !...

Great show! Very informative. I have come up with an additional invention on an already existing invention that has been around over 100 years. My additional invention is new and would be useful if implemented. However I am very unsure wether it's a obvious idea. I think that since nobody in the last 100 years has come up with my idea I must say that it is not an obvious idea. Maybe I just don't understand fully what the term "non-obvious" means deep down. What would be your take on this? Many thanks!

I'm wondering what to do with my invention that the target industry is scared of it replacing the industry as a whole. As my invention is garenteed to find gold where all other equipment in the industry only offers promises. How do I seek finding investment money if my target industry is the only one that can know the science of what I make. But is to afraid of what it will do to their statuesque.
With what I've created I threaten an entire industry that's already dying. As it's one based on finding gold. With all the good minning is played our. No i've found the right investors and thought it would have been an easy sell with all I know. But knowing is not proving. And I need investment money to get it through the final trials of proof of concept. And not just anyone is going to invest in something they don't understand. With those that do fealing threatened because my invention aims at the kind of gold that the industry has left alone because it has no allure like flakes and nuggets have. And also is not simply understood by anyone buying equipment to hunt for it' that is exspencive. No' I have what it takes to ram-rod the whole thing myself. And have my marketing figured out. But it's all requires big investment money. Money that I know how to make the most of it now and keep initial expenses down. Wich lots of people that could afford. Just I need to have more instant up-funding right after proof of concept has been secured. And few have that kind of money in this field. And the few that do. Fear the efect my invention will have on what they've already invested heavily into. As my invention chases flourgold. Gold to small to be seen by its self and requires a great deal of it to be seen for what it is. Something all my current prototypes only scratch at what's poseble because I've had to work with scap and what can be jerry rigged into working. And falls short of what's needed for advertising. As it must be a one two punch putting it on the market. If me or the company I create is to posses it all. As there is an entire verging industry to be had if done right. And only scraps and crumbs if done wrong. So my investor needs to have the capital to see it thru. If they want all they can get out of their percentage if the business. One that seeks to start a new gold rush. And be the one selling the shovel in it.
I highly recommend you learn more about licensing. Then create some type of market demand to get people to join you. Thank you for watching and commenting. -Stephen
I've got a good idea haven't done anything about it yet.honestly I probably sell it for next to nothing and use the money for other business ideas... It's a money maker and could be sold to many different countries lots of potential Got a good logo for it Just gotta start somewhere
If you are going to license an idea, no need to every sell it for "next to nothing". If you make the effort to approach potential licensees and they see a benefit in the product why would you not take a decent royalty. Do the work and work on licensing it. I'm looking to get out there with an idea in the pet space. Do all these people submitting ideas already have patents? I worry with disclosure and idea theft. I have a great innovation with no idea where to go
Get a provisional patent application from USPTO be sure to even if have prototype describe your invention in great detail minute descriptions file it.... then request non disclosure agreements with those you present it to. Avoid Davison Corp at all cost. I'm no precessional just lil' ol' inventor. Getting raked thru it by few big Corp. Butt. Some expierence. My two cents. Best to you.
Wow,so informative... Would you consider helping a student from Africa or you only deal with the USA? I have an invention though I have not prototyped it yet.. Kindly advice, thanks
Sounds great. I think more products are going to start to be made in the USA in the coming years. It's going to take a while though. - Andrew Krauss, inventRight Co-Founder
There's still alot of custom molders in the US. Many molders outsource their tool manufacturing though. The tool is the investment, so ask about that if you are strictly staying in the US.
Yes you can, but not if they are stepping on each others toes and selling in the same place or the exact same thing. There are excptions of course, but one big company getting your product out in a big way is something most inventors should be happy with. - Andrew Krauss, inventRight Co-Founder
Know what. I've learned. No body wants to help anyone get a new product out there to manufacturers or what ever it takes to get it on the shelf. Not with out making more then a buck just to give you vague information let alone on the shelf helping consumers an making you income. Sad but true. All you an your expense comes first. They you get paid with no guarantee down the road in royalties once it starts generating income. It's irritating Aggravating blood boiling infuriating butt.... Do not get discouraged Do not give up. Don't quit. I'm finding. The only time wasted is in my own frustration with the dead ends road blocks an effort of anyone with a product on a shelf's efforts an fears that mine might sell an make me money. No matter what the catagoried. Sorry. Land of the free.... Do anything you want.... Etc etc. Sure. As long as it's not getting a new product idea on a shelf. Sally forth an wade thru the Hypocrisy. learning if I quit on me why shouldn't everybody else Right !!

Hey Andrew. I just started a company, D.A.R. Product Development, LLC. I am only interested in selling the rights to our ideas/products. What do you think about that?
I have an invention on ground to sell for a company . How can I do it. This Invention have not been patent, I have no cash for that. But I want to sell it.
I am a student with inventright. They are teaching me exactly how to make it happen: how to market research, how to patent search, how to write your own provisional patent application, how to make a "sell sheet" and how to get it to the right people so that the company will manufacture, market and pay for the patent of your invention, while you sit back and collect the royalties. They have videos that teach you, they have the 10 steps to go through, and they pair you up with a successful inventor who has licenced their own product to mentor you. I am so glad that I joined. I am saving a lot of money by learning how to do things myself.
Well I licenced my newly granted patent to a online company with in weeks of getting it granted..I had no idea what to do or say..he drew up a draft contract but I shot my self in my own foot..he was laughing all the way to the bank.long story short.he made more than he was paying in royalties to me..after a year I took back my rights.but I'm now stuck..I have 5 years left to sell it..
Thank you for sharing this story. I highly recommend if and when you do receive a licensing agreement, you have someone to help you with the business terms. And then follow up with the Licensing Attorney with the legal terms. I cannot tell you how many times I see unhappy inventors because they didn’t have the help that was required. This is very common.

I have no desire to start my own business but would love to get it licensed and on market for some supplemental income. what would be a good beginners process for that?

I have had a invention idea for quite some time now and I recently started thinking about it again. I want to invent it/produce it because it is something that i have been looking for FOREVER and there simply isn't a product on the market (which is shocking in my opinion) I don't want to say what it is because I don't want the idea stolen. It's one of those (why didn't I think of that) ideas. I believe they would sell like hot cakes and the product would be cheap to produce. It's a super basic idea. It's kind of a medical device in a sense. Would love to share with you. Could I call this number? Thanks, Adam
Please which companies buy ideas, kindly help with theirs names. Thanks ❤

I have an idea and I've got a basic prototype, what is the cheapest way to to get my product to market.
License it. - Andrew Krauss, inventRight Co-Founder
Sir can you define the difference between idea, and working sample after patent.thankd
You don't need a patent or a working sample to license. Not saying you should never get those things, but a PPA and a virtual prototype are ofen good enough. Depends on the the situation though of course. - Andrew Krauss, inventRight Co-Founder ( Call, email, book an appointment or request more info about how we can help by visiting us here. inventright.com/contact/ )
What someone should just make clear to everyone is ideas are only for people who have money. If you're jobless and don't have friends and/or family willing to throw a bunch of money at these people, you're not getting anywhere. Ideas are only for people who already have money
Thank you for watching!
You might have an idea and it could be worth something, but it takes work on your part to get it started. First do your own search and see it it's already out there.
Takes money to make money 💰

I live in Nigeria how can i patent and license my idea?

It’s best to file a provisional patent application.

@@helenevice6920 we’ve been educating inventors for over 25 years. And we haven’t seen this happen from our members. You have to approach them correctly and find the right companies first.

Don’t submit to the market leaders. Find the number 3 company.
-Stephen
Find the number 3 companies, not the market leaders.
-Stephen

If you are going to license an idea, no need to every sell it for "next to nothing". If you make the effort to approach potential licensees and they see a benefit in the product why would you not take a decent royalty. Do the work and work on licensing it. I wish i knew the next step. I have.....a LOT of ideas on paper. No prototypes or patents yet. Can they help at this stage...?

I have a good invention idea Whats the best place to go with it. Please give me a company 🙏
This is why a patent search by a lawyer is needed. This exist already. People don’t understand brand new ideas that no one ever thought of are always downloads from God. If nothing is done or acted upon within a timely manner God drops it off to others. This is why people think someone stole their idea. No, it was a gifted download received from God and you stalled on it and God drop it off to someone who understood the assignment and followed through. Get started today the world is waiting and God is watching.
