The conversation ranged from discussing our guest's legendary career to his views on the future of Nigerian and African football and lots in between, and really showcased the excellence and depth of this great man. We had a great time meeting him and talking with him and we hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Peter Rufai as a goal keeper represented Rivers State academic soccer team at the national sport festival tagged Kaduna '77.I was there with the boxing team.
I am Zambian but i cant forget this man.i was a kid by then watching him
Still very fit, sharp, not pot belly. This man is very disciplined... He did well for Nigeria. For me, these are the kind of people we should be celebrating.
I watched his games during his era’s club and country, he was the best for Nigeria till date. Younger ones will say Eyeama, but you didn’t really see this man. He was the best. And I dunno why he don’t want to support the goal keeper department for the Super Eagles.
I still remember dis legend back in 82/83 @ the UAC ground Suru Lere.. He's always humbled, quiet, and decent... More life @ PR 🎉❤
Niaja Niaja dis is peter rufai why can't Niaja authority in soccer call him for keepers coach, wht a society,na wa ooo
PETER RUFAI, SIMPLE THE BEST GOALKEEPER NIGERIA 🇳🇬 HAS EVER HAD.
To me and many others, the keeper of the best Super Eagles team ever, ranked 4th by FIFA and the second most entertaining and beautifully playing team, the most highly decorated international goalkeeper of the SE with 2 AFCON silver and one gold rated one of the best keepers at USA 94 world cup who conceeded only 4 goals in 4 matches against ex world champions Argentina and Italy and a clean slate against Bulgaria, eventual semi finalists who had the tournament's top scorer, Hristo Stoitchkov as their top 9, is the best Super Eagles goal keeper ever.I 👍👍👍👍👍Dodo Mayana!!!
I was also Peter Rufai I was in Grde 4 by then
Amaju Pinnick killed the Nigerian football. Importation of foreign players to displace the home based was what truncated the grogressive transition of the national team. He wanted a shortcut success rather than working for success and that brought about lost of identity, lost of Nigerian football philosophy, lost of discipline and committment hence disintegrating the national team. Super Eagles are yet to recover from the Pinnick syndrome.
Dodomayana is simply the best and the greatest goalkeeper Nigerian ever produced.
Dodo Mayana!!!!
Peter 'Dodo Mayana' Rufai. My best and greatest of them all till date.
He is also holder of two master degrees
Rufai was a fashionanista. Neat and always looking great. Ako poju.
Peter Dubai was the only National Goalkeeper I grew up knowing.... Thank you so much....especially in 1994!🇳🇬🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
My favorite Peter Rufai moments ?
Nigeria greatest goalkeeper ever forget Eyeama hype.Go and watch Rufai of 1981- 84.
The Goalkeepers Were Playing Abroad Already But You Rufai Was The Best.
Dodo Mayana is a fav of most PH people, who knew him back in his early playing days!! But these interviewers don’t seem to know that Peter came into an era that defined Nigerian football!
