She has a new album out, and is already thinking ahead to what she wants to do next, as a musician. I came to her music through the Jazz Avengers, and Senri's Seven. I would definitely recommend finding her newer stuff.

In 70s back then in my country I was a guitar coaching teacher, at that time I tried hard to start forming a girl's band the Rock music one ! But the bass guitars strings were so rough and frets were too. Also sociaty didn't encourage that's why my girls bands could not make it to what they should have been. Now girls playing the bass drum are fabulous and they can do just as men. I'm proud of you girl ! Keep shining.
Your slap and overall playing sounds even clearer than original YT versions where Marcus Miller is playing. The right balamce between being percussive but having 'openness' in the notes.
I love your confidence/stage presence when you're in the groove... any band would be lucky to have you anchor them! I would love to see you and Mr. Miller perform together!

Wow her tecnique is in the same time intuitive n logical, the way that she stamp the bass with right hand clones the stamp when ya hit the percussion with the fingers. With right hand she do the scales n notes like guitarrist, trull n deeply pretty💛💛💛💛💛💛
