That ax4x is so awesome. I’m curious to see how the actual street driving is. I still have to go to work everyday to pay for this awesomeness. Great video btw.
It was great on the road. I didn't dive into it since I wanted to focus more on the off-road side of the truck. But out on the roads and highways, it was totally comfortable
The higher priced GMC begs for a different powertrain. As much as I like the 2.7T I4 approach, this looks like it should have the 3.6TT out of the Cadillac CT5-V or something.
wont fit. Redesign has limited the engine size due to space and weight. And performance wise the TTV6 is designed for a car/crossover vehicles. Torque on the V6 is at 2800-3500rpm where the 2.7L is 1500-3000 and 90% of it is at 1500rpm. Where you want it for a truck. Plus you changing price to cost for the bean counters.
@@JMNovak1011 of course just stating my desire. I think the engine (if it could fit) could be retuned for truck purposes similar to how Ford tunes their 2.7 and 3.0 Ecoboost. Just feel a special truck deserves a special engine.

Love the hat on backwards vs hat forward analogy between the ZR2 and AT4X respectively.

GMC should have put the rear electronic locker in the AT4 or at least offered it as an option.
Too much money for a mid size truck. At4x is 60k stupid
