So how was it to live with daily for a week? Was it a pita it get in and out of all of the time with the lift? Are the DSSV’s smoother on the road than say the canyon Denali you tested?
Oh it's a fine truck for daily use, generally. The DSSVs are really fantastic on road as well as off - have spent time with the Colorado ZR2 on canyon roads as well and they seem to handle everything pretty gracefully. The lift + no steps is indeed a pain even at my 6'1" height, but the lift is on it for a reason and steps would get in the way off-road. That's my only huge complaint, aside from the idiotic headlamp controls in the touchscreen on these + Colorados.
Factory ordered one of these and thought about canceling it when the strike happened - glad I didn't. Very excited to get mine. Great video!
