This video was filmed with in-ear, binaural microphones, so if you listen with headphones, it will sound like you're sitting in the driver's seat!

430 pound feet or torque is something to be proud of
Just Bought a Desert Sand AT4 Tonight can't wait to off road, and tow.
Thank You for the video
Thanks for the shout-out! Looks like a fun trip!
One of the if not the best gas towing engine I have ever had. V8s really don't come close. People say it drives like a diesel, but IT REALLY DOES. Have to tow with it to experience it. 23 Denali here.
So that’s because the Turbomax was built just like a diesel it’s just gasoline not diesel, more torquey in the low end just like a diesel would be
Great video, can’t wait to take my ZR2 somewhere like that one day!
Love this truck
This video is excellent
The uphill loss of power happened to another tester in a zr2. I guess gm hasn't addressed that issue with its 4x4 system.
It does it on purpose when the computer thinks something will break. Unlocks the locker and drops out of 4Lo. It should not happen but it did when Driving Sports TV tested the ZR2.
I can see how this could be a life threatening problem in a tricky situation. However, the truck is completely drivable afterwards. I guess get a winch and use it on extreme slopes.
It’s my understanding that terrain mode is meant to be a single pedal drive and the system freaks out when you 2 pedal. Also turn off lockers when not needed
It’s amazing trucks got lighter over the years but the MPG stayed the same. You would think by now you could get 30 mpg pulling a trailer
Whats crakin? Awesome video)
Mines in the shop for rear end at 3800 miles with no ETA on parts or fix! Been at the dealership for 2 months so far! Pissed off would be an understatement
Ooof :/ sorry to hear that
Hey man I’m a tec from a Chevrolet dealership and I am actually one of the ones that found the issues with the rear end, they made a bulletin for what I found and it’s in our emerging issues corses! It’s the outer axle bearings wearing wrong that should fix the issue. By chance does it sound like a mild humming noise seeming to come from the driver footwell? If so maybe give the dealership a call and let them know to check the outer shafts in the rear for “ring” marks. Hope that helps!
No it wasn't that ...they already replaced axles! Now ring and pinion.
That’s wild man I’m sorry to hear that I hope they can get you back on the road soon
Got it back Friday! Whole new rear end because there's some special tool they can't get. Cured the problem. Time will tell...
Really wish they didnt use white in an off road focused vehicle. I can see the orange utah sand/dust being a pain here. Love the interior and exterior design though.
Where is it? AMazing
I do believe the truck shut the lockers off as a safety feature, so you don't snap a axle or blow a diff.
RIP, Tedward.
I don't know if I need that out of a turbo 4. I'm just waiting for carbon buildup
My 2nd GMC Lemon Thank God For the Lemon Law!!!
Nice truck! But the engine noise is not as smooth as the V6. Seems anoying but anyway great torque and power.
Did the Stop sale order reach the Canyon ?
I really like this truck, but there is a lot of competition for this truck. The Ranger Raptor is very nice as well. The new Toyota TRD PRO is nice but overpriced, same for the Trail Hunter . The ZR2 is priced below the AT4 X, but obviously not as nice but just as capable. So, lots of choices and lots of research . In. conclusion researching the competition may help in negotiations.
ZR2 is best bang for the buck among the group
Badass truck, but expect the Toyota fanboys & Nissan goofballs to spam w/ their negativity.
They love to bash American 🇺🇸 products with their outdated & baseless opinions.
theres nothing worse than toyota fanboi
@@theeconomist100 Try a Tesla fanboi.
That's a big camper with only single axle.
Right? Gotta be getting close to that axle raiting.
That horrible 80’s color-scheme interior feels like you’re on a road trip with Lee Majors. C’mon GMC, just give us an all-black option.
Between the extra price compared to the ZR2 and the White Color Scheme, I chose the ZR2, but I really love the exterior of the AT4X. I do like the more subtle and less "outlandish" interior of the ZR2 though. The White seems bad for an offroader too.
Sucks that you can't get the at4 interior in the at4x@@romeshprakashpalan8895
oof, painful to see you not know what you're doing with the camera views and offroad modes
