    Just got this bag for my birthday 🎉
    I like that the handles actually have a little extra room bc you can put a jacket in the additional space while traveling and then snap it or put a yoga mat to the gym.

    I've been watching a lot of bag review videos and the videos you guys make are literally the best on You Tube. Helpful info, entertaining, and great video editing,. Y'all have done well. Cheers! (p.s. I totally clicked your affiliate link for 2 Aer bags I have been eyeballing).

    I wish you would integrate a “real life perspective” when using this bag. During your test how did you use this going from home->work-> Gym? Similar to your earlier previous videos.

    Between this and the Boundary Supply, which one would you choose for gym/beach use?

      @Nomads.Nation  2 роки тому

      Thanks Khaled! Tbh you can’t go wrong with either, but I prefer the Boundary Supply as it’s sort of my all-rounder duffel. I think it’s more versatile, and I like how it doesn’t maintain its shape so it can increase or decrease in size depending on what you are packing

    Interesting bag with lots of options which is nice since a lot of duffels just hone in on the boring single large compartment. Odd that not all the zippers are water resistant though.

    Not sure about the mesh for the main pocket with rain and privacy, otherwise would have made for a good short term travel bag. Big fan of using shoe compartments for dirty clothes. Great review as always though! Do you plan to review the Aer Travel Weekender?

    I've been searching for an ideal underseat/personal item bag that's as close as possible to meet some asian airline requirements (40x30x15cm). This might be it. I also want to be as efficient as possible going through security and I think taking things out of a top loader bag that stands on its own is ideal. Additionally, I think it would make grabbing things from under the seat easier with one hand due to the top loader and the limited space around me. Backpacks are great to carry a lot, but functionally...I think they're harder to deal with at security and in-flight - I don't want to go digging. I will use it for a 13" macbook (cables + charger), toiletries bag, headphones (cans that don't fold flat), Bellroy tech case, battery pack + cables, 600ml water bottle, travel wallet, pens, and maybe some other odds and ends. I also ruled out messenger bags with flaps. I have been looking at the Mystery Ranch District Pro, that might work. The Alpaka Bravo Tote also seems worth considering. With that in mind, are there any other top-load personal item sized bags, with a luggage pass through you would recommend?

      I have been looking for an under-seat bag as well and I'm going to get this one.
      I've wanted the Briggs and Riley under-seat duffle for a while, but it's $300 and I don't know that I can justify that.
      This is the same size, has a similar structure to it, more functionality with it's tech compartments, and I can use it every day as a gym bag.
      For the laptop protection, I have a bellroy laptop sleeve that brings that extra padding if it's a concern.
      Good review as well. I'll be using your link for the purchase!!

    Cowabunga mate.! That shoulder strap double as a rifle strap & you can put your tactical flash light & Leatherman wave in those two little pocket. If you really look at it, the bag has some tactical use for the police force or military etc. We uses the DELSEY duffel, no duffle kerfuffle even took it for hunting truffle. We all know what "ballistic" means but what is Ballistic Cordura? Also could you tell us more on YKK zippers? What does YKK stands for? Greetings from The Land Down Under.

    I will never understand the purpose of a gym & work bag; when at the gym I don’t bring my valuables with me even when using a locker, and when at work I leave my damp, smelly gym bag in my car - and I guess I could just take the stuff I need out of the bag and carry to the office with me, but then at that point I would use dedicated backpack. This one looks more like a weekender bag.

    • @Nomads.Nation
      @Nomads.Nation  2 роки тому +12

      One word - car. Gym bags like these are mainly designed for people like me who live in large cities and have no car so we commute mostly by foot/public transit. For that use-case bags like these are a complete life saver :)

      It’s designed for people like me that live in cities and don’t have a car (cuz we take public transport everywhere). Then when you wake up and go to the gym on your way to work (or back from work) you have everything you need. Hope that makes sense!
