I would look at alternative winter storage for next winter! For any mould/tarnish there has to be dampness, and I hope the electrics have not suffered as a result due to high humidity.
If you haven't any garage space, consider an outdoor Permabag. Fully sealed with large desiccant cylinders basically. I had one years ago when I had no option for garaging for a while, the car comes out as clean and dry as it went it....far superior to any outdoor cover.

Hi Michael. Thanks for your comment.
There is no mould in the car, if you check the video where I uncovered the car after winter then you can see that the interior stayed perfectly dry and sealed, the main saviour to this was the silica gel damp catchers in the car. There were 2 in the interior and it looked and smelled exactly as it was left, which is an easy way to check for moisture ingress.
The metal tarnishing happens during winter or summer so it's not really just a winter thing. It was on the paddles before and I didn't clean them before I prepared the car for storage, Most Ferrari's I've seen have it. My car came back with it the year before when it was stored in a temperature controlled storage area and it and about 4 others I looked at when I bought mine had it, it's just one of those things.
The electrics are fine, the car has just had a full health check and service and it's in perfect order.
I've not heard of a permabag before I'll take a look at that thanks, but the car will probably go back to the Ferrari specialist that stored it for me the year before this year as my main concern is when we have strong winds, I don't want the car to get damaged.
      Thanks.

Top video as always. Hadn't considered the Jet Seal for interior metal parts. A nice, easy, rewarding job for today. Cheers

I use Jet Seal on pretty much everything lol! It just give a good protection. Stick a coat of wax over the top and job's a good un. It's a nice fast thing to do as the metal seems to get messy . You doing your now then :-)

All done. Exhausts Tips, Tubi Box, sill trim and kick plate by the accelerator and passenger foot rest. Loving the Jet Seal. I use it on my daily bodywork and everyone asked me how I kept it so clean over the winter.

Wow, you should have come and done mine too! You have been a busy boy lol! I think for the price Jet Seal is great, and it's easy to use, apply and moreover buff off.

Need a pint after all that hard work.......let's drive to the pub! Just heard we'll have a Canadian lad driving for Williams this year....Lance Stroll. He's only 18!

I think when I was 18, there would have been no way they'd have let me get in charge of a lawn mower never mind an F1 car! When I went to young driver testing they are like kids driving the cars. Amazes me.

Great vid, nice touch with the cleaner, jet seal and metal polish, they came up nice. Thanks for the upload :-)

Jet Seal is the future! Love that stuff and Chemical Guys VRP Dressing. I'm trying to get regular at uploading so I'm planning on either Friday or Saturday, but not sure which is best. I uploaded this last night, but was editing until late and I had to leave it uploading over night (the video is nearly 7 gig!). If I may ask, what day would you say is best. I'd prefer to ask you guys who regularly comment for your opinion.

My Supercar Life most vids are up at 6pm on whichever day the channel wants to do. If I had a choice it would be a Friday, end of a long working week, by 6pm there would be a nice vid to look forward to :-) keep it regular and on schedule - this will ensure we watch it and if it does not come out then we will know there is an issue somewhere out of your control. Erratic uploads = people loosing interest in the channel as they never know when to look out for the vid. Not everyone uses the reminder bell icon as it's annoying for different time zone channels notifying you at 1am about a new upload... keep them regular, on time and the rest will come :-) thank you for asking for my input, that does mean a lot to me :-) bye for now, mark :-)

Cheers Mark, your input is very valued. I used to upload at 5, which is evening here and lunch time in the states so I'm going to go with 5 or 6, and I think a Friday too. The only things that hold me back sometimes are the weather or work, but what I'm going to try to do is get some vids in the bag and film more than one at a time so I have a few to upload. I might also try to do Vlog type vids as extras. Thanks again mate

My Supercar Life most youtubers have 2 - 4 vids done in the bag as life does get in the way, things like how-to's will be fine but don't go too far ahead otherwise your reaction time will be slower for updating due to being too far ahead, but I am sure you will have a good handle on that if you run your own business. The short update vlogs are great as it satisfies the need for a vid and can be a minute or two long whilst you explain something and then the how-to vid can be the following week. As long as it's regular and not every time a blog saying sorry then it will be fine. Your loyal subs will hang in there mate, not to worry :-) good luck for the future on your channel :-)

Cheers as always. I used to do weekly uploads and be a few weeks in advance then I uploaded twice a week, ran out of vids, winter came and I couldn't do any more! Just getting my arse in gear now and trying to produce content that's of value and useful. Thanks again!

Thanks for the video, very good information. Besides Jet Seal, you can also us something Ceramic Pro Wheel quartz sealant on the aluminum plates and also the paddles. I coated my paddles with Ceramic Pro and it works like a gem....
