Bought Zegama on a whim and I couldn't be happier. These are the most comfortable trail shoes EVER. ZoomX is the only way to go for me; three pairs of Invincibles too! I just watched this to confirm my next purchase: a second pair of Zegamas! 😊
Great review and appreciate your somewhat soothing intonation, lol! Just got myself a pair of the Pegs 4 gtx and it's my first trail shoe (passed over Merrell and Columbia as Nike won me over with the aesthetics and comfort, plus they were on sale). Am from the Philippines and we're getting more than our fair share of typhoons and monsoons lately, hence me picking the gtx version. Plan on using em on my wet commutes to the office and hopefully a trail session sometime in future. Cheers!
Nice. Love the Philippines looks beautiful and I already know amazing people. I grab my shoes on sale too most of the time ridiculous they charge so ,much normal price. Love my GTX runners for wet conditions couldn’t live without them. Hope you enjoy! Thanks for the comment brotha.
Having very narrow and lengthy feet I can say that Pegasus fits way better as Zegamas are really wide, even my heel was moving out of place, plus the shoe laces hurt at the top as the tongue is made very short on these trainers. Zegamas are way more cushioned as well but it's not a stable shoe unfortunately.
Still not convinced which shoes to go for! I am very new to trail running and am looking to pick either one of these up from the sale. What would you suggest for a beginner who is looking for comfort as well as usability. Ps. I am doing half marathons where the terrain should mostly be ground
Hello thanks for your comment. I am by no means a serious runner, I run for fun and some exercise. For me I tend to stick with Nike or New Balance trail shoes because that’s what I’m used to. In general the fit for both brands is slightly different in my experience with New Balance usually having more room in the toebox for your toes to splay or spread and better accommodate foot swelling over longer distances. I don’t run miles and miles so for me the Nikes are usually just fine. The Zegama is very comfortable for me but check out the NB Hiero maybe try both on if you live near an athletic store. I hope this helps a little.

Agreed , i have both , Zegama are more comfortable , esp the tongue is more padded on Zegama .

Zegama looks better. But why the pegasus trail 4 socks design is suffocating.
I think this colorway of the Zegama looks great…I like the design too.
