I wish that Nike could have made the Pegasus Trail 5 to look more like the Trail 2 (let's wait and see what they do when they launch the gore-tex version) I have this exact same colorway as you do and it is absolutely sick just how aesthetically pleasing it looks. They botched it up on the 3 and 4 where the focus was to shave off weight at the expense of durability. Now the 5 is more focused on being a hybrid (which IMO, the 2 already does an excellent job) but from what I understand the new 5 does not provide great stability when running on rocky technical terrains.

There is a Reebok sneaker that I have been looking for, for years now, they have the same exact design as the Nike Cortez but I dont know the name and when it was released but I think it was a direct rival/competitor for Nike Cortez. I know back then these companies had the similar designs with small differences here and there. Can you help?

I've never tried the skateboarding regular fits but I might try them after watching this. Always been a 874 guy but the only thing I don't like about em is the clasp closure rather than a button.

thank you so much a long time ago i got some height increasing insoles but i never skated got so used to it but i grew so much i dont really need them anymore as im alot taller. just recently got into skating again with some friends i tried removing the insole but i had alot of spare toe room and it felt really quite weird so i just put the soles back without even trying to skate in them. as i searched everywhere trying to find if i can or cant skate in them now i know that i need more board feel as i cant really snap the tail or slide the shoe at all for an ollie my foot just wouldnt slide it was kinda like i was just jumping in a stationary position. saw this video and had to try without soles again even tho it felt weird right away i did a perfect ollie i felt so stupid after all the time i just spent practicing but i just thought i wasnt jumping high enough or being to slow to slide my foot im so happy its been a little while now so im used to the normal shoe i can do a perfect manual and even kickflip which is insane so thank you so much this video really helped me out and im so glad i found it much love. <3

I haven't had a pair of the pegasus since 93. That was the pegasus 92. They were awesome runners. Super comfortable. I'd give these a try though.🙌

the treads SUCK, looks like the designer had better treads in mind but Nike axed it for what it turned out to be which is minimal to be kind. I literally just saw this shoe today on the Nike website, a pair of 'Wheatgrass' colored Humara's for '40 percent' off, or 88 bucks US. Thought about buying them to WEAR, (not collect), but I have two pairs of Air Monarchs and these look no better in terms of comfort than those already are. The mesh on the Humara is deceptive, I thought, OH look at that, a pair of Nylon Nike's that breathe, might be cool for Summer. But it's just man made materials with a mesh cover. Nice looking shoe but probably not very comfortable in the Summer heat. See that's the thing about Nike, they're more about the LOOK of the shoe than the quality and the comfort. That's why people tend to buy Nikes to collect and maybe wear them occasionally but only as a fashion accessory to impress and not necessarily for comfort. Vogue had an article about Nike....lol...that's what I mean.

I quite like this jacket but am only 5.8 and think it might be to long for me looks maybe more like a trench coat on me

These are delicious. Great colourway. I've just bought my first pair of vandals. White & red, in the canvas. 2004 release. Can't wait to get them on feet. I'd like to get the colourway you have next. Then the silver ones. I'd like to grab the ones from the terminator too, but the prices are a bit silly.

I own this jacket. Bought it to replace an old Lowe Pro rain jacket. I live where is is very humid but mostly cool to cold. I find when I hike with no liner this jacket gets either too hot (in warm conditions) and stuffy or when in cold conditions the jacket/me get cold. The only time I like it is when it is quite cool/cold and I have a merino base layer on. So, for the most part I don't like wearing this jacket. I would much prefer a jacket designed to work with a light mesh liner (which are rare these days) to keep the outer layer off my skin when I am wearing something like a dry-fit type tee shirt. I find this to generally be much more comfortable in most conditions.

Thank you for the video! Man the calcite has been my favourite jacket, I only have the same issue with it that you have regarding it being a bit too high at the top and hitting my chin. Im hoping patagonia will come with a calcite 2.0 that just fixes this issue, but i doubt it.
