The Easiest Way To Add A 2nd Cricket Bat Grip Without A Batting Cone
We have already shown how to add a batting grip to a sandwich bag previously but Ray Dibben asked if we could show how to add a 2nd batting grip, also using a sandwich bag.
It's not as easy with a grip already on a bat but, if you add an additional bag over the top of the original grip, we do show is possible. Don't wait until the cricket season starts, get it done now. All you need is 2 sandwich bags and a grip, no special tools and you are sure to impress your cricket family when you show them how easy it is.

Worked perfectly, had tried with just one bag but it was rolling the first grip down as well. The second bag solved that. Now have a happy son, many thanks.

Brilliant! After one video told is we needed a vacuum pump, and another told us we need a grip application stick, we then came across this one that told us we needed two plastic bags. Which sounded a lot more like our kind of thing.
Worked like a charm. Only negative is that the kids will have to go to school with dry sandwiches tomorrow. 😂

Hi Uncle Boss I have never had this issue, maybe use slightly stronger bags or sprinkle a bit of flour or talc on the outer or the first bag (inner bag). Hope that helps

You will need to us a new bag for every new grip being applied. The more grips added, the harder it becomes though

Dear sir I have started your method but the 2nd grip is stuck on and both the plastic bags have ripped 3/4 of the length. Please may you take the time to provide any tips?

Hi Shahryar Don sorry for the delay, I suggest taking the 2nd grip off and start again. Then coat the inside of the 2nd bag with talc powder or flour then this will reduce the friction causing the rip. Hope it helps

A large tie up sandwich bag is big enough. They are also called food bags for freezing. It does work as many people has testified. I also have done this many times. You are correct a shopping bag is too big though which is why I suggested a sandwich bag.
