    • @harishg1507

@@rvs1444 Steve Waugh did inherit a world beating team from Mark Taylor which he turned into an absolute dominating force in the game. Mark Taylor is whom I considered the greatest captain of all time along with Imran Khan. He was instrumental in turning a young Warne and McGrath into becoming the most brutal match winning combination in world cricket and also he was the first captain to beat west indies at their home in nearly 16 years which is as great an achievement as that of Greame Smith whose South African team became the first team to beat Australia in Australia in almost 16 years . And for all the great things Steve Waugh's team achieved they still could not beat India in India which he himself said many times as the final frontier for his Aussie team .

Don't know what it is, but something seems to have been lost over the last few years. Windies decline, Aussies average, England usual mediocrity, the rest indistinct from each other. These things come in cycles, hopefully a cricket-renaissance is not too far away.

Levity aside, what I liked most about this video is how these masters interacted. I'm looking for egos and one-upsmanship to emerge and they checked that at the door. Such a great video. I got glued to it. It is so heartwarming to see these legends of the game coming together on the screen and showing the class and technique they used for 10-15 years of their playing career to dominate bowlers and score big knocks. Credit also goes to Michael Vaughan for rotating the conversation among the 3 greats and giving them equal oppertunity to speak.❤

this really shows that to achieve greatness ponting had to really graft at his technique, whereas the other two just had to get out of their own way and allow their instinct to kick in, in order to score the big runs
So interesting to see the different perspectives, neither of them better than the other, but mindsets and natural ability very different

I'm a left hand batsman so for me Gilchirst is good and my idle but Pointing was a #monster one. Pointing a #legendary batsman and a captain at a same time. Lots of love and respect from #Pakistan for all these stars..

Ricky is explaining it simply as where he looked at the pitch to ascertain his position in regards to play that ball.
KP in regards to his switch shot of less risk and along side looking at the ball from the right eye.
    It was overall good lesson
