Can't wait for Ozy buffs on NA, truly the king of ST Riders.
I absolutely loathe those Ozy buffs due to how absurd they are, but even if he spooks I'll keep using my best Girl Quetz and hoping for an NP upgrade.
i was so glad to get ozy from a random story multi when i was really new to the game, but damn i was even happier when i learned he is one of the best st riders in the game
Really love your tier lists. I’ve been playing for three years now on NA, but I still learn a lot about Servants that I have but never knew just how good or not they really are, if that’s makes sense 🤔😂

On Marie she does have an unmentioned major use- she actually Skadi Loops pretty darn well. Which stacks her crit up to a respectable +60 after three turns.
I have skadi-looped with Marie as well and there were times where here damage was not enough to kill the enemy and then her crit buffs are actually appreciated (especially on cards that aren't quick)
Mary and Ozzy are the only gold riders I've ever used. They carried me with Origin Bullet.

DW really dislikes summer one servants to a fault. Martha ruler sees so much play in events and gags, but she barely gets anything in the terms of buffs. Her skills are still terrible
She needs buffs now, but back in year one servants like them were really good to broken.
I still use martha though. Jacob limbs is not to be underestimated. Also, she is one of the few summer servants to actually get a buff

Astolfo is ridiculously good as a farmer hitting hard with his NP and being able to set up a crit turn for wave 3 despite his bad stargen with his NP, third skill and quick chain giving so many stars in total and his damage output with crits is crazy too.
That Servant really needs to be experienced in practice because that third skill feels like it's bending reality with how good it is despite being so bad on paper...
I have NP2 Astolfo and only 5* is Oz, so I'm wondering if I still should roll on new year 5* banner.
@@Anacone the more the merrier especially with farmers. Astolfo is super great for Wave 2 so the wave 3 slot is still open.
At least I farm in the old fashioned way of deploying an aoe servant for each wave rather than looping because Skadi is whale and lucksack bullshit, the only Servants I have who can arts loop with bride and support Tamamo is Sieg and it's still so damn long until castoria so no looping for me...
Astolfos third skill is insane compensates for how terrible the first 2 are.
If the fixed that stun skill, he'd be broken.
@@elixxon i seen his crits. I have a np2 stolf. Its nothing to write home about. Yes his crits are not to be underestimated, but his third skill is rng. So sometimes you dont get the crit damage that you hope for. And even his passive star gen is rng. Not to mention, the skill has a large cooldown.
I'd do some changes to the list:
Drake +1: she can 3T loop with 2x Koyanskaya or 2x Oberon WITHOUT plugsuit
Ivan -1: buff removal is becoming less relevant, cause every boss has plenty of unremovable buffs nowadays
Iskandar -1: AOE unit without a battery, so it's pretty hard to farm with him, and without any CQ utility or survivability. Unfortunately, our bro needs a lot of help
Astolfo +1: just the 50% battery is enough for him to be used, even if only for farming doors, whereas the other units on his current tier won't see use at all, outside of very specific situations

Instead of that weird hp buff on her 2nd skill and they gave her a battery instead I think Maid Alter would be high A rank. I use her all the time or as much as possible and she does the job. I agree she is too reliant on outside help to get her going which is funny cause she is more support dps with the skills they gave her.

I have np1 astolfo and skadi, for farming hım or NP5 Medusa? (Grail them both if necessary, only 2 grails) Medusa served me right caster nodes this cristmas Lotto , perhaps astolfo do similar DMG whit lvl 90 than 70 Medusa.. thats my question which one better for buget farming?

Honestly I'm not sure if I like the whole make the list at NP1, tbh it makes me question the ratings even more. When comparing Lolivinci, and Drake. Drake's NP hits harder before adding the 17% atk, and 17% np up. And both's primary role is farming. I'd honestly move them into the same tier.
Iskander...poor guy he could honestly be moved even lower due to his lack of utility and at np1 he isn't even going to be that insane of an aoe nuker to make up for it with his skills. Martha I'd actually place her up a tier. Her NP may not be the best ever but it does lower defense down by 20-40% depending on over charge. So even if it doesn't hit hard it does help teammates hit harder. Giving a full 50% defense down when combined to her third skill that also yeets enemies buffs, while she can also cleanse the team of their debuffs. Giving her solid utility in certain challenge quests and boss fights.
Also I feel like there really isn't enough of the I guess B tier. I'd place Artoria Alter down in B tier along with Achilles. NP1 Achilles' damage is really low and he already has trouble looping and killing targets with the double skadi system. He actually benefits heavily from higher np levels similar to Lolivinci. Over all it's an okay list imo. But I kind of think NP2 should be the standard rather than NP1 over all. It's the biggest upgrade and reasonable to obtain (Most of the time when rate up isn't a lie)

After Ozy’s broken buffs, I hope Quetz gets something again. More NP damage was all she had over him and now Ozy out damages her.
I believe Astolfo should be B tier. Yes his first two skills suck but his third and NP are great.

Achilles gain is so bad that even with that kit he can only loop with 2004 frag. According to your logic marie should be in the same tier as mordred rider since she can loop better than any other quick rider but at np1 doesn't do that much damage. Da Vinci damage as a NP1 is atrocious since even with the MC buff she only hits like 140k damage which is not enough most of the time, especially in events. Odysseus damage is just bad overall and his kit is very underwhelming, you're hyping him too much, as is Europa, both are not as good as the other servants in that tier.
Nah fam, with the supports we have now, these characters can put out high numbers whilst also having good utility

@@kingkunta3753 yeah i have ody, i only regret not leaving him at lv 1 as a taunt bot. Yes i did the calcs at np1 with optimal standard supports (Double Castoria/Skadi) so trying to use supports as an excuse is just not valid

I think Astolfo deserves at least B-tier. He's a decent AoE farmer if you don't have the 5* units. Putting him below Anne & Mary is just insane. When do you ever gonna use those 2 outside of memes? Astolfo, at the least, is useful in regular gameplay.
Why even use astolfo? Yes he has a battery. Thats about it. Bad np gain, worst defence np gain and triple quick makes it almost impossible to get another np. You can farm once and you are done. Even if maries np gain is bad, her np refund is good due to the number of hits. Also, rider ishtar exists who is a lot better than astolfo
Memes are at least something, astolfo might be more broadly useful, but he's also not noticeably better than medusa, a 3* that we all have at np5.
I think Ivan is super good too. My theory on why he gets so under the radar is because the furries and bara fans are not present enough in this community
Iskandar might be one of the most favorite TM characters in the fandom, but his in-game performance is abysmally bad. Even though he's my most favorite character, I think he should be lower than Martha and Carmilla.
Have no battery, no defensive skills. It's about 2022 and he still has that vanilla charisma buff with low utility, unlike others who still can do good with their other skills. His 3rd skill only lasts for 1 turn and has unimpressive effects. After all, he's just a glass cannon that can only shoots once by himself so without proper support like Merlin, Vitch, and Oberon, he will be a dead weight for the team
And it has been almost 4 years since he got his last rate-up banner (except GSSR of course), at this point, I think they have already forgotten about him. Poor guy... Even permanent SSR rider Drake is even better than him
If he ever got a buff, I just wish he'll has a 30% or even a 50% battery. No defense is fine cause with just a battery, he'll definitely become a top tier farmer
he is just mainly old, his performance is not that bad, he still hit really really hard and he can double as a sup supporter like taigong recently albeit a little underwhelming but he still do it good, the only problem is that he is slow when compare to this day, really slow. he got a stupid good base when compare to the other but that good base is everything he have for like 3 year, and that much time without refine hurt the men (even gilgamesh is a bit fall of in few year). his case is like few other, good stat and all but cant put it to use and they dont need anything significant, a small push in a big system is huge, a good battery (30%ish) and they will be skyrocket, just like nobu with only that battery up she turn form bad and dont have any synergies into a beast and one of the best target for buster loop because they lack atk buff. I like iskandar too, he is a great guy and he come to me np2 with one of the best way possible, but rather than be depress about him being a bit old compare to the newer and post buff servant, i will wait until he have the buff he needed and mow down everything.
Can't praise Da Vinci-chan enough. Since July she's seen use in all kinds of situation from CQs to farming with a bunch of different servants. She's not only a looping engine even before Castoria but her charging the whole party's NP gauges (and DMG) with both her NP and her S3 also enables all kinds of creative setups which is always welcome if you enjoy some variety.
The fact she's super tanky with heal over time and evasion also makes her a great fit for 6 slots setups that involve facecarding in FGA like in the current lotto node where someone who definitely isn't me has been using her with Artoria and Waver to farm for as many boxes as their apples supply'd allow while doing other things like spending time with their family!

I really wanna enrich my rider box in the upcoming Chaldea Boys event. Ozy, Achilles, and Odysseus are my targets.
Like another comment mentioned, Quetz needs the basic buff treatment of damage amp against evil and threats to humanity plus passive damage reduction against good trait enemies, that just fits her lorewise, now I want to add some spiciness to it, what about an on attack debuff and buff gimmick? After buffing, every attack puts burn on the target and she gets a damage up against burned enemies but that's not all, her NP not only obviously does more damage to burned enemies too but also detonates all burns on the enemy for massive damage, I actually hoped for a buff like this plus animation update after the babylonia anime, like a flame lariat for her buster card, here wishing that a Quetz alter comes out on LB7 that uses more of her powers instead of focusing more on Lucha Libre thus nerfing herself.
even after playing fgo for 2 or more years I still don't really understand what makes a servant good or bad. so thank you so much for making this tier list and explaining what makes a servant good or not so good. From what I understand it all comes down to specialization and synergy with their own skills. For example, there are generally three main roles a servant can fill. Support, looper(farmer) and Single Target boss killer. Generally speaking if a support servant can give other servants NP charge they are going to be considered good at the minimum but if their skills also add some unique form of utility or if the buffs they give hyper focus into some aspect of gameplay they are considered god tier. For example if a buster support can give other servants 50% their A+ status is a given. Now the synergy part, if that servant also has buster up, attack up, NP damage up we are now seeing a god tier servant in the making because those buffs multiply with each other since they are different type of buffs but since they all hyper focus on damage. The buster support would also probably need to create stars and have crit damage up because buster servants, generally speaking able to generate stars naturally with their buster cards and since it's way harder for them to looper focusing on criting with their buster cards would be the safer route to go. This is why waver is considered good but not god tier like castoria, skadi or koyanskya. Those four focus on getting other servant NP charge up but the latter three go the extra mile and hyper focus and synergies with a specific card type.
Its actually pretty hard that's true, thats why so many tier list are in a lot of ways so differents especially depending of what type of tier list it is. Probably because there are not that much REAL bad servants and the broken ones are obvious and are ALWAYS on the top of tiers while the vast majority of characters in the game you can use just fine

Just two things: Summer Murasaki's 3rd skill isn't a flat 20% charge, which would be pretty weak, it's 20% charge during 3 turns, not that it bumps her up i think. Also nemo is rly fickle for A tier, thats my only complain. >_

I didn't find Sima Yi that good. She does some support, but it's never seen enough to get through a tough quest with her, especially with berserker. I might be missing something
I used her with Arjuna Alter for the Battle in New York exhibition quests and trust me, she’s what allowed me to beat them. The 2 hit invuln + her defence buff + Np = Tanky Berserker.
50% targetable NP charge automatically makes her a EX tier.
Best Riders: Da vinci Lily (Hello one of the best 'Refund' Loopers prior to Castoria), Rider Modred (Second verse, same as the first, but has better Battery and Arts Buff; plugsuit buffs can solve NP damage issues, if any), Drake (The only Buster Rider that is DKS viable, and the only Rider than can do 'regular' Tri-Loops with MLB Kscope in NA), Reines (She's Waver Alt in terms of usefulness, nuff said), and Tai Gong (Newest *5 Rider, essentially the first high Rarity Quick Support that's GREAT, great at looping)
Good Riders: Astolfo (Any Rider with a 50% Battery and an Upgrade NP can't be completely bad, even if his deck and hit counts in general SUCK for him), Medb/Ozy (Both are attypical Offensive Supports, one oriented towards Male Support/Counter and the other more general, and hella strong ST NPers; arguably Best Tier ), Ivan (Guy is nuts, only thing holding him back is the lack of on demand NP Battery), Quetz (Same as Ivan, just a bit more old school and focused on Crits, and has an actual NP Battery), Ryouma (Ultra Budget Arts Support and first ST Arts NPer), Europa (Hit base Perma Invincibility is great, even if the rest of her kit is bland), Achilles (He's not great as a Looper compared to Lancelot, but it can be done, especially if you have him at NP2)
Honorary Mentions: Nemo (Good on his favored terrian, good luck finding it), CARmilla (Great Esports Servant, crap at looping), Martha (Queen of Debuff Cleanes)
The rest: Meh to not better than the above
I mean how does Achilles do when ur not focusing on looping? He's pretty hardy and he has rider star weight and some built in crit. Can u use him as a green crit dps?
@@DDespicable Welp, you can if fact use him as crit dps. Skadi aside he fits well with Waver for longer fights (And even Caster Gil is you want MORE stars). His NPQQ gen a lot of stars (Close to 50) which he can then use to refill his np the next turn. So yeah, you can use him as a dps no problem even on longer fights.
So basically what you're telling is, Loli Da Vinci is Summer Mordred's final form and Europa is better Marie Antoinette huh... Makes sense! Sounds legit!

Wrong. Im sorry, but a huge np battery with inconsistent buffs isnt good. His np gain and defence np gain is pretty bad( his defence np gain is only 1%. While other servants get 3 or 4% np gain per hit, he only gets 1)and triple quick deck makes sure he wont get his next np easily.
@@lookingforlove839 people that sleep on Astolfo just don’t understand that those stats don’t matter. If Astolfo had good NP gain he’d be an absolutely broken servant.
@@LucklessGun he can np once. Whats the use of him as a farmer, if he can only np once. One hit np means he cant do much in skadi set up either. Marie can loop in a double skadi setup and has the pfa like skill. Even in challenging content, his 3rd skill is so inconsistent. Thats the only good damage buff he has and it only has 65%chance of procing every time and has a large cooldown.
@@LucklessGun like i said, pfa makes sure he is protected. But the hits he tanks dont even gen much np. Seeing his bar only raise by 4% instead of 12 or 16% in case of most other servants when they face a boss of high hitcounts( in this case, 4) is particularly triggering. Its better if he just np and then kill himself
@@LucklessGun my point is, he cant farm well and he is not consistent enough fot challenging content. He is kind of half and half, but is not good enough to be either. Pretty wonky with bad skills, bad stats, bad np gain. His np is his only saving grace.

@@davidkadian2817 "Only" niche that is a vast majority of the game. That is still worth more than team support and st damage when most content can be soloed or cleared with Mash, Merlin, and dps.

Everything you say fits her lorewise, even if I think she is S tier cuz she is my waifu, I understand that nowadays she is too basic, she hits hard, really hard and has some utility but mostly you will use those utility skills for her anyways, for a god of her caliber she came out too early I guess, that's why for some reason I wish for a Quetz Alter on Lostbelt 7.
I want her to have a 100% Defense up against good alignment like the boss fight.
Also, another crit up would be appreciated.
