As a long time player, no, the gems lottos are significantly better than the monument ones, and that's because of 2 things 1. Practically every event gives you access to monuments in their shops and even more importantly 2. You need a F ton more gems than monuments. Take Jeanne D'arc, she needs 35 monuments of each quality, but also need 35 gems of each quality... for each skill and since there is 3 gem qualities and only 2 monument qualities that gives us 4.5X gems needed to max vs monuments. This cost is a good chunk of the reason I have long since gotten every last servant I have to cap, but still have tons of 1/1/1s because the gem cost is just that high despite having practically every lotto be gem based. Now, I'm pretty close to getting gems comfortable for blue and red, still a long ways for yellow, but still. QP is also a big issue, but lottos thankfully provide that too. As to who is more powerful, yeah, usually having a maxed servant is better than a 10/10/10, although there are definite exceptions. The big farming 3, for instance, generally don't matter their servant level but their skill level is vital, since they are there for their skills, not their raw power. But of course you have to at least get them high enough to have access to all 3 skills so there is that too. So ultimately you do need both. An extremely early player might want the monument ones, but honestly, even they would quickly prefer the gem ones as you're usually not going to be leveling everyone early on and most often monuments aren't the hold up, it is usually the other ingredients.
I'm so happy that I started playing this game right when this lotto happened. I didnt get much farming done ofc, cause I was literally under 90 levels. BUT, I managed to farm ~50 boxes despite not knowing how great this event was cause the quests from the nodes were giving me 2~5 levels per clear so I literally didnt even need any apples. the mats and qp I collected SLINGSHOT my account so much I actually had enough leveled up servants to clear the tower event that came after. not to mention Gilgamesh, Beni-enma, Tamamo, Yang and so many other SSR showed up during my rolls from the quest cleared SQ's I was so lucky.
The class gems have been more important in my experience, as story mode and events, let alone event stores, give out a lot more statues/pieces relative to gems. I have farmed specifically for pieces a handful of times; I farm for skill gems somewhat routinely (I am forever short on Caster gems, especially).
7:20 There are a bunch of 6CE Skadi comps. The event CE is amazing for quick looping. This event has a lot of 5-6 CE comps for every cards type because of how nice the drop CE is. Also, one of the 3-turn 5-6 CE Buster comps for the saber bode is also pretty f2p.
I recommend using a Saber Gong plugsuit comp for the Gold tag node. If you don't have a skadi of course. E: I recommend posting both Khad's and supermarth's video/document covering this lotto in the description

If you are getting burnt out, then I recommend trying out different team comps to spice things up a bit. Also, hopefully you can find a good 5-6 CE comp that you can use for the saber node. I 5-9 turned the final Quetzmas node last year for 183 boxes and that was pain. If you can’t think of any good comps, I recommend watching the Galemas lotto comp videos that Khadroth made. Most of them are not super accessible, but you can mix and match several of them to create a decent comp.
just a suggestion since it might help or give you an idea for the lancer node. im using a Altria(saber) pseudo-reload 4-man team of Waver(Support) + Bunyan(or any servant with class advantage) + Altria and Skadi. - Equip Altria with MLB Imaginary Element and non-MLB kaleidoscope to the 2ndary DPS. -1st Wave: Use Altria's 1st and 3rd skill then fire NP.(Altria refund 20%) -2nd Wave: Use Waver's 2nd and 3rd skill and Bunyan's 1st skill then fire Bunyan(or any 2ndary DPS) NP. -3rd Wave: Use Waver's 3rd skill on Altria then use plugsuit on Skadi. Use Skadi's 2nd skill then 3rd skill to Altria (120% NP). also use Altria's 2nd skill then fire NP again. if the damage is not enough, use Bunyan's 3rd skill. Side Note: this setup also works with Mordred replacing Altria and Proto Arthur if you have more than one non MLB kaleido. you can also do double waver with this setup instead of skadi if you have your own waver coz sadly i dont. i know it's too much button pressing but if you dont have Arts supports or arts loopers like Spishtar and Musashi zerker, this gets the job done with 100% 3-turn rates.
13:13 you can use artoria with kscope and waver, clear first or second wave with her np and the np mistyc code, and on 3rd wave use another np charging servant to clear agian with artoria

Yeah these "Guides" are pretty dull, I don't know what your team looks like, But just use a BIG heavy hitter on the 3rd Wave, And Arash for second wave, Spartacus for 1st, And boom you potentially 3 turned. If you don't have any big heavy hitters for the final Wave, Just use Face Cards instead. Maybe a lucky crit here and there will give you the 3 turn. But if you can't do it in 3, No worries, Just aim for 4 or 5. Challenge yourself~ o/
I don't have any good recommendation for the Lancer Node sadly though, Spartacus could still handle first wave or potentially the 2nd, But Arash is sadly a no go. So maybe try and Face Card the first wave, And use Spartacus on second, And a big heavy hitter on 3rd? Like Artoria or Mordred. I wish you luck if you decide to do that Node.
@@Joshuamiller19570 yea this video in particular is just dogshit. he didnt give any useful information. i did a loooooooooooooot of thinking on a f2p 5 ce comp. but it didnt happen. main issue is the node being lancer and so not being able to use arash. no other f2p unit that can come in and finish a 30k hp enemy on neutral. avicebron can with his np buff but its not on NA yet. main point is, you aint doing a 5 ce 3turn comp without your own 50% charger. for 6 ce comp u need your own waver,skadi and spishtar/dantes/zerklot
My plan right now is to use a Chen gong, skadi, np2 salter, arjuna alter, support waver setup. it will need 3 MLB ces to get started but it should be a valid 6 ce setup and I have 150 apples to burn through so I will eventually get what I need
If you have a lot of unleveled servants in your roster the lotto system provides a step function increase in your account's power level... but only if you can open enough boxes. And then you understand why SQ can be used as apples and just how the whales rack up hundreds and hundreds of boxes in these events.
My setup is waver, chen gong, mlb support artoria, skadi and archer helena. Had to plan it alot cause I don't have Dantes or Zerkerlot but this 6CE setup should be foolproof if my calculations are right

He can. I run him with a single Skadi a Nero bride and a waver and it gets the job done. you may have to get creative with how you’re ordering the command cards depending on what you’re fighting
@@rafaelbastos8713 Unfortunately, Lancelot doesn't have an upgraded NP, so you'll feel the lower damage at NP1. Even when grailed to lv 90, my Lancelot has struggled in the Skadi system on occasion. It's worth mentioning that, if you don't have a MLB Kscope, you pretty much need Waver or Asclepius (though needing plugsuit Asclepius is not the worst fate in the world).
You might be able to also clear the lancer node with Spishtar with a normal Kscope and double Waver if you're smart about the battery order since it's a 3/3/x node. Granted, it won't be a a 6CE comp, so I'll probably be avoiding this since I just have 11 apples, so I'll want my AP to be maximized. Maybe 50% CE + plugsuit Paracelsus will work for a 6 CE comp. And no, I don't have Dantes. He was one of my skips. Maybe NP1 Lancelot will work (fingers crossed)
I didn’t do so much last Gilfest so Imma make it up by going all out this time. My friend showed me up with 400 boxes… I imagine that she doesn’t have coin-gem struggles like my account does. You’ll see a lot of my SR/SSR units with 5/5/5, 6/6/6, 5/6/10, etc. I hope this event helps my account because I like changing my friend support team often while trying to make sure that their skills are decent lvl.
Ik for the last node, I'm just going with a weird set up of cheap aoe saber nuke 1st wave, artoria nuke and face cards for damage, and then saberlot for the main boss and plug suit another aoe saber, and then viktory.

Not even Parvati?? As someone having lvl 90 NP2 Parvati and NP5 Atalanta, I can assure you Parvati was a workhorse even at NP1 especially with 2 grails
Personally I am going to use a Chen Gong strategy at some point if I can get 2 mlb copies of the ce going, just because it would be the most optimal way to farm with a full 6 ce comp
I'm gonna 6 CE farm this with astolfo 1 wave, then plugsuit him to 2 skadi looping zerkerlot. I just need 2 MLB CE. Shouldn't be too hard as I got 4 in 30 apples during the Gilgamesh loto.
Please don’t Jinx yourself. It took me 23 boxes to get my first CE drop in the previous lotto and 73 boxes to get to +8 after switching to a slower 6 aCE comp. Also, you can use faster comps than that on several of the nodes. For example, on the Berserker and Caster nodes, you can use Arash turn 1 and have Astolfo clear out the other 2 waves without needing to worry about Plugsuit or NP gain (only needs a Waver and a Skadi).
It's good enough to just use daily AP just to get some drops for the CEs, but otherwise just relax until the better nodes open up for farming. Generally, Yellow tag is when you go hard for bronze shop currency and the ones onwards are for silver, gold, and then lotto currencies respectively. the one that requires a currency to go in is for farming gold currency (No lotto currency drops) so just ignore that one unless you cant really handle the White Tag node
You don’t need the skadi system for this lotto. In fact, almost every single 6 CE comp for the final node is either Buster or Arts. I recommend checking out Khadroth’s Galemas lotto comp/node guide videos. Even if most of the comps are not accessible to you, you can still mix and match them into something you can use. He also gives really good advice for comps in general.

Been farming the berserker node F2p life is pain but my setup has been working Imaginary element gong for wave one after sacrificing support waver followed by a 50 percent ce Parvati on wave to to finish off wave 3 with arjuna alter 50 percent ce. It leaves me a little room for the event shop ce but just barley

Edit: Sorry, I misread which node you were having issues with. If you have no decent neutral units like Arjuna Alter or Space Ishtar and the only AOE sabers that you have are Fergus and either Seigfried or Nero. It would be best for you to focus your apples on the Archer node. However, I still recommend clearing the lancer node on nat ap if you have the time and think that you can clear the node (even if it will take you 10 turns to clear).

Yes. These lottos are the time to use your apples and do as much as you can. Don't stress is you can't 100% it but do what you can because anything you can get is a big bonus for you as you go forward in the game

You probably could. On the final wave it may not be 100% clear every time but you might be able to just clean it up with cards right after. Throw in Tamamo with waver and bride and you should be good to go.
You can figure out if your account can do enough damage to neutral loop the gold node by taking the enemy wave information that you need from fgo’s fandom wiki and plugging that into the free online NP damage calculator. However, I don’t know if you will get enough refund to loop.
Looping? LOL I'm gonna use double Artoria + NP5 Helena. I mean Helena's awesome. She has AoE 20% charge and AoE tricolor buff that stacks multiplicatively with double Charisma from Artorias. And she can clear wave 1 even if sh!tty rng NP dmg buff doesn't proc and also gave Artorias 5 more stars to facecard anything that survives EKUSU KARIBAAAA in waves 2 and 3. And her long cooldowns are not an issue in 3t farming setups.
Her quick refund is pretty low, regardless of Skadi buffing her (I rarely break a 30% refund on her np). While she will presumably reign supreme once Castoria comes out, that is a little over half a year away.

Unfortunately, there are no Proofs in the lotto. However, there will be 30 of them in the event shop (bronze). Also, the fandom wiki for fgo has a list of most of the events that will happen for the next 2 years (because of the jp server).
Jacques de Molay is only on the JP server, which has a completely different lotto event happening right now. Did you mean Jason? If you meant Jason, then no, NP1 Jason can loop through the final node. I do not even know if NP5 Jason does enough damage without grails. However, you get a lot of fp from the lotto boxes, so you may be able to get him to NP5 during the event. Also, I recommend watching Khadroth’s Galemas lotto videos. Not all of his comps are accessible, but you can mix and match parts of them and he mentions some really good strategies, such as either carding turn 1 (not using buffs or NPs against the first wave) or having Arash or Chen Gong nuke wave 1 or 2 for you. One more thing, between the event info on fgo wiki and the free online np damage calculator, you can test the damage for your NPs and figure out what comp would work best for your account. @@ALUCARDAN2 Sorry. I only play NA, but I can try to help. What node are you asking about? The berserker node or tomorrow’s node? If it is the berserker node, I can’t tell if you would get enough NP refund (berserkers are terrible for refund), but if your Jacques is 10-10-9, your Waver is x-x-10 and your Skadi is 10-x-10 and you find another Skadi, you should do more than enough damage to kill the enemy units. Also, using both Skadi defense downs turn 2 might help you get enough refund for turn 3. I also recommend leveling the MLB drop CE to at least level 30. You can always reuse the exp by feeding it to another CE if you want to.
I've got 703 Gold Apples because I couldn't go ham during Gil fest. My archive and present box full of embers has been emptied to level up a few characters. Just gave a Chaldea Flames to Skadi. My account is ready. 200 boxes is the goal because work/life gets in the way. If only 1 billion QP wasn't the cap, then I'd have more reason to learn to macro this stuff.

The lotto ce is quick up, np gain, and starting charge and I just pulled Zerkalot, my Skadi is ready

i did a loooooooooooooot of thinking on a f2p 5 ce comp. but it didnt happen. main issue is the node being lancer and so not being able to use arash. no other f2p unit that can come in and finish a 30k hp enemy on neutral. avicebron can with his np buff but its not on NA yet.
main point is, you aint doing a 5 ce 3turn comp without your own 50% charger. for 6 ce comp u need your own waver,skadi and spishtar/dantes/zerklot
My plan right now is to use a Chen gong, skadi, np2 salter, arjuna alter, support waver setup. it will need 3 MLB ces to get started but it should be a valid 6 ce setup and I have 150 apples to burn through so I will eventually get what I need

If you have a lot of unleveled servants in your roster the lotto system provides a step function increase in your account's power level... but only if you can open enough boxes. And then you understand why SQ can be used as apples and just how the whales rack up hundreds and hundreds of boxes in these events.
Jarcher + Double Nero Bride saved me last Gil fest. They gonna save me again thia time. The lancer mob is gonna be pain the ass tho.

My setup is waver, chen gong, mlb support artoria, skadi and archer helena. Had to plan it alot cause I don't have Dantes or Zerkerlot but this 6CE setup should be foolproof if my calculations are right
I'm probably just gonna use zerkerlot + double Skadi, and if that don't work, then Im gonna take out the first wave with Chen Gong or Stella.

He can. I run him with a single Skadi a Nero bride and a waver and it gets the job done. you may have to get creative with how you’re ordering the command cards depending on what you’re fighting

Unfortunately, Lancelot doesn't have an upgraded NP, so you'll feel the lower damage at NP1. Even when grailed to lv 90, my Lancelot has struggled in the Skadi system on occasion. It's worth mentioning that, if you don't have a MLB Kscope, you pretty much need Waver or Asclepius (though needing plugsuit Asclepius is not the worst fate in the world).
You might be able to also clear the lancer node with Spishtar with a normal Kscope and double Waver if you're smart about the battery order since it's a 3/3/x node. Granted, it won't be a a 6CE comp, so I'll probably be avoiding this since I just have 11 apples, so I'll want my AP to be maximized. Maybe 50% CE + plugsuit Paracelsus will work for a 6 CE comp. And no, I don't have Dantes. He was one of my skips. Maybe NP1 Lancelot will work (fingers crossed)
Hopefully Santa can dodge well with all the guns and missiles from Zerkerlot

I didn’t do so much last Gilfest so Imma make it up by going all out this time. My friend showed me up with 400 boxes… I imagine that she doesn’t have coin-gem struggles like my account does. You’ll see a lot of my SR/SSR units with 5/5/5, 6/6/6, 5/6/10, etc. I hope this event helps my account because I like changing my friend support team often while trying to make sure that their skills are decent lvl.
Ik for the last node, I'm just going with a weird set up of cheap aoe saber nuke 1st wave, artoria nuke and face cards for damage, and then saberlot for the main boss and plug suit another aoe saber, and then viktory.

I'm gonna 6 CE farm this with astolfo 1 wave, then plugsuit him to 2 skadi looping zerkerlot. I just need 2 MLB CE. Shouldn't be too hard as I got 4 in 30 apples during the Gilgamesh loto.
Please don’t Jinx yourself. It took me 23 boxes to get my first CE drop in the previous lotto and 73 boxes to get to +8 after switching to a slower 6 aCE comp.
Also, you can use faster comps than that on several of the nodes. For example, on the Berserker and Caster nodes, you can use Arash turn 1 and have Astolfo clear out the other 2 waves without needing to worry about Plugsuit or NP gain (only needs a Waver and a Skadi).
Hitting less buttons causes less fatigue

It's good enough to just use daily AP just to get some drops for the CEs, but otherwise just relax until the better nodes open up for farming.
Generally, Yellow tag is when you go hard for bronze shop currency and the ones onwards are for silver, gold, and then lotto currencies respectively. the one that requires a currency to go in is for farming gold currency (No lotto currency drops) so just ignore that one unless you cant really handle the White Tag node

You don’t need the skadi system for this lotto. In fact, almost every single 6 CE comp for the final node is either Buster or Arts. I recommend checking out Khadroth’s Galemas lotto comp/node guide videos. Even if most of the comps are not accessible to you, you can still mix and match them into something you can use. He also gives really good advice for comps in general.

For example, you will probably want to card through the 1st wave (not use any buffs or NPs) so that you can save those for the nastier waves 2 and 3. Gems are usually a pain to farm so this is great. I need saber gems BAD. What about looping with summer musashi? I dont have nero bride but i have tamamo and Reines.
Paracelsis works as a diet Nero bride, you're gonna need one of them to loop effectively but it still might not work

I recommend watching Khadroth’s Galemas videos. Most of the lottery comps he goes over are not accessible for new accounts, but they should help you with strategizing for more consistent comps. Either with strategies like carding turn 1 (not using buffs or NPs on the first wave) or with f2p units you can use like Arash and Shakespeare.
Edit: Also, you can use the event node data on fgo’s wiki (fandom) and the free online NP damage calculator to test out your lotto comps and figure out what works best for you. Good luck!

Imaginary element gong for wave one after sacrificing support waver followed by a 50 percent ce Parvati on wave to to finish off wave 3 with arjuna alter 50 percent ce. It leaves me a little room for the event shop ce but just barley

If you have no decent neutral units like Arjuna Alter or Space Ishtar and the only AOE sabers that you have are Fergus and either Seigfried or Nero. It would be best for you to focus your apples on the Archer node. However, I still recommend clearing the lancer node on nat ap if you have the time and think that you can clear the node (even if it will take you 10 turns to clear).

Yes. These lottos are the time to use your apples and do as much as you can. Don't stress is you can't 100% it but do what you can because anything you can get is a big bonus for you as you go forward in the game

You probably could. On the final wave it may not be 100% clear every time but you might be able to just clean it up with cards right after. Throw in Tamamo with waver and bride and you should be good to go.
You can figure out if your account can do enough damage to neutral loop the gold node by taking the enemy wave information that you need from fgo’s fandom wiki and plugging that into the free online NP damage calculator. However, I don’t know if you will get enough refund to loop.

I'm gonna use double Artoria + NP5 Helena.
I mean Helena's awesome. She has AoE 20% charge and AoE tricolor buff that stacks multiplicatively with double Charisma from Artorias.
And she can clear wave 1 even if sh!tty rng NP dmg buff doesn't proc and also gave Artorias 5 more stars to facecard anything that survives EKUSU KARIBAAAA in waves 2 and 3.
And her long cooldowns are not an issue in 3t farming setups.

Her quick refund is pretty low, regardless of Skadi buffing her (I rarely break a 30% refund on her np). While she will presumably reign supreme once Castoria comes out, that is a little over half a year away.

If you can pull off her looping with those three, yeah, then she hypothetically will be able to for the lottery, assuming that she can dish out enough damage to get back enough np. I do not have either Waver or Bride (yet) to test that out myself to confirm either way.

Unfortunately, there are no Proofs in the lotto. However, there will be 30 of them in the event shop (bronze).

Jacques de Molay is only on the JP server, which has a completely different lotto event happening right now. Did you mean Jason?
If you meant Jason, then no, NP1 Jason can loop through the final node. I do not even know if NP5 Jason does enough damage without grails. However, you get a lot of fp from the lotto boxes, so you may be able to get him to NP5 during the event.
Also, I recommend watching Khadroth’s Galemas lotto videos. Not all of his comps are accessible, but you can mix and match parts of them and he mentions some really good strategies, such as either carding turn 1 (not using buffs or NPs against the first wave) or having Arash or Chen Gong nuke wave 1 or 2 for you.
One more thing, between the event info on fgo wiki and the free online np damage calculator, you can test the damage for your NPs and figure out what comp would work best for your account. I hope this helps you.

If it is the berserker node, I can’t tell if you would get enough NP refund (berserkers are terrible for refund), but if your Jacques is 10-10-9, your Waver is x-x-10 and your Skadi is 10-x-10 and you find another Skadi, you should do more than enough damage to kill the enemy units. Also, using both Skadi defense downs turn 2 might help you get enough refund for turn 3. I also recommend leveling the MLB drop CE to at least level 30. You can always reuse the exp by feeding it to another CE if you want to.

I've got 703 Gold Apples because I couldn't go ham during Gil fest. My archive and present box full of embers has been emptied to level up a few characters. Just gave a Chaldea Flames to Skadi. My account is ready. 200 boxes is the goal because work/life gets in the way.
