Yeah, while I have given this exact same piece of advice of advice to friends that they can hold off summoning Spishtar this year, there are a couple of caveats because of the 6-7 month wait: 1) You will lose out on 2 lottos with her, so make sure you have 3T farm comps for those lottos. 2) Spishtar's return is when the 2023 Gauntlet will begin. Between Muramasa, Morgan, Vitch, Oberon, Summer Okita, Summer Kama, etc. there are a lot of very powerful servants in 2023, and Vitch and Oberon are bordering on "must summons." Comparatively, nothing between Spishtar and Castoria is a must-summon. 3) Consider just summoning NP1 instead of going for higher NPs. Too many people are being told Spishtar only works at high NP levels when she is workable at NP1 (some wave 3 lotto bosses will require some face cards as a result). You can summon NP1 now and then you even have 3 GSSRs before her rerun where maybe you could get NP2. Primarily, you should skip Spishtar this year *IF* you are F2P and do not have a budget set aside for pulling Castoria, as obviously any farmer is reliant on the support. You an also use alternatives such as Musashi and Summer Kiara. But do your research and work out your summoning plans over the next 18 months first!

And if you don't care about the characters, each of them at NP1 would be better than both at NP2. I'm going to offer my own impressions on the 2023 lineup from my JP experience. TBH the gauntlet more begins with Van Gogh who is incredibly good,. I'd say she's like... just below Super Orion for a ST boss killer with good solo potential. But I'd also tell people you can likely borrow her from a friend when you need her. She's IMO the best DPS in the entire game not taking into account across-class application. There's no other way to say it. You can pretty much address both your ST and AoE lancer needs with her. She is overtuned as hell. Kama is overhyped. If you already invested in Spishtar or Musashi, there's no reason to touch her. Who cares about "bigger numbers?" She's there for people who missed Spishtar. Don't get me wrong, Kama is a great servant, but if your current arts farmers are still doing their job, a "better version of that" should be pretty low on your priorities list. Okitan is the new model of what a quick farmer should be... but she's not a must summon unless a quick support that helps Skadi/replaces her shows up in the next 6 months that makes Quick on the same level as buster/arts. I have an NP2 because I was going for Charlotte and Ana and I got her instead. Not going to complain. She's freakin' fantastic. She blows Dantes looping away. But she is skippable. Miss Crane... is the worst SSR support on JP IMO. She's obnoxiously difficult to make work in any kind of farming content. She's got a lot of cool uses for CQs... but that's only useful for content creators to create fun videos. Her kit is clunky and has way too many demerits when Merlin + Castoria is unga bunga. I have her and I barely ever use her. Don't get fooled by people showing you some random UA-cam video of some cool use of her in a CQ: borrow a friend's or just use an alternative solution. Or wait to see if DW buffs her as she needs at least 1-2 buffs to be worth going for. Caren/Galatea/Ushiwaka Avenger can all be skipped. The latter two are very good, but there's no reason to prioritize them over other targets unless you're like me and are a giant Caren fan/fan of the other two lol.

That's true but there's also a charm in keeping one in your hands. Can customize on your own and not to mention the forced support situations. But yeah a lot of people will have him.
The reason not to wait to roll for Space Ishtar is because of timing. Yeah, we have some pretty hype servants coming, especially Super Orion, but if you summon for her next year, you will be summoning pretty much right before a massive amount of great servants come out, whereas there is nothing too hype at the start of 2022 till anniversary.
Also, not mentioned in the video is that if you wait, you won't have her for 2 lottos, which is where you get the most use out of her. So players should make sure they have another Castoria-compatible solution for those two lottos if they choose to wait. And having gone through it on JP, the 2023 gauntlet is going to suck. I'm recommending to most F2P players on NA that they summon for nothing but Castoria next year if they can avoid it because you're going to need as much SQ as you can get going into 2023. From using them, Oberon and Vitch are 100% must summons, Morgan isn't a must summon, but as must summon as any AoE DPS gets, and if Quick comes back into favor, man you're going to really want to look at Summer Okitan. I have an NP2 now on JP, and she IMO replaces Dantes as the previous best Quick farmer by a good margin. She's definitely one to keep an eye on.
I have Da Vinki and Summer Oneesan at NP2 so I think I can afford to wait a bit. I don't really fancy using a single Servant to omnifarm every node, so I'm not in any pressure to pull for her.
Space Ishtar might be back, but there's no guarantee you'll get her then nor will you have the quartz to spare. So if you can afford to try now, do so.
The problem is when you skip Space Ishtar banner this year, her next banner show up again the worst timing IMO. Muramasa, Avenger Ushi, Morgan, Lolilot, Koyanchihuahua, Oberon, Kama Avenger. I cant name it all the good servants, Huu boy 2023 gonna be a hell gacha
Summer BB, Parvati and a friend's Skadi. Yup. I can confirm that I turned it into a 3 turn farming node. Parvati has been looping since before Skadi. She's that good. With Skadi and BB locking her cards there is nothing to stop her from looping and charming indefinitely.
Castoria will come to NA around July 2022. But Spishtar's rerun will come in Jan 2023, so there's quite a few months between their banners. However, that rerun is right after Muramasa's banner which may or may not be worth thinking about depending on how much you want Muramasa.
Bro there's no space ishtar banner next year. The rerun is in 2023. And the time when her rerun banner will be up. It's gonna be true hell a lot of strong units are gonna come out one after another in 2023. So I absolutely won't recommend skipping on space ishtar if you want her. This is the best time to get her as of yet. _____ And super orion has a rerun....
Yeah I'm not sure where he's getting that there is a rerun right after Castoria. I don't play JP but looking at the 2020 schedule I don't see Space Ishtar anywhere. Looks like the Space Wars II rerun won't be until Jauary 2023 unless they speed things up.
I am not a rin simp, but will probably go for spaceishtar just because I am f2p. If I don’t have enough time between the banners I can’t get enough qartz to get a decent shot a summons.
The plan is simple: I'll pull on both Astarte's and Skadi's banners until I'm out of SQ and see what happens. What could go wrong? Then I'll start saving up for new year's since I have some unfinished business with summer BB to take care of. Hey, our boy is almost at 10k subs now. I have skadi, but I think I'll be skipping spishtar anyway T_T most of my target servants next year (Holmes, Castoria, Da Vinci) are practically back to back and I cannot risk failing to get even one of the three. At the risk of being crucified, I disagree strongly with Skadi being a "99.9% summon if you don't have her". Not that's she's bad or to avoid, just that she's not even close to "99.9% for sure summon her". So what if she's not been surpassed as the best Quick support? Quick won't be meta soon, and if you're summoning purely for power then why would you summon a servant for a meta that will be obsolete in a few months rather than preparing for the one that will dominate for years? I think a lot of veterans of this game (and I include myself in this) frequently forget just how finicky and specific Skadi builds have to be with no room for replacement in high-end CEs/high-NP servants. I'm not saying Skadi is bad or don't summon Skadi, but what I'm saying is if you're summoning Skadi it better be because you a) have Quick servants you love and want to focus on boosting, or b) because you already have all the Superscopes and NP-bajillion Zerkerlots and such to make it work right now rather than sitting here 8 months from now with incomplete setups and holding a Skadi you'll never use because Castoria and her much more forgiving setups come around. Or let me put this another way: which do you think is more likely on JP? That they release a servant or a strength up that makes Skadi a competitor right alongside Castoria for best support, or that they release a new super-duper-quick support option that butts Skadi even further out of the meta? EDIT: And I say this as someone whom DOES love my quick servants most and cares about boosting them above all. Also Osakabehime is a thing. Is she better than Skadi? Definitely not in many situations, but I think people really overlook her just because she hasn't shaken off the stigma from her release yet despite all her buffs.
shes still really good 50 charges plus defense down sure castoria "replaces her" but you have to wait like 7 months for castoria also if you are smart you know the next card type to get a buff is most likely gonna be quick on jp so think of it as kind of an investment
Super Orion does have another rate up. He has a rate up when Muramasa comes out, which is literally right before Space Ishtar's next banner after this one

I feel so utterly alone in not rolling for Space Ishtar. To be fair, my account is almost entirely Buster-focused and Buster SpIshtar is the weakest version of her. For me, I'm saving for Ereshkigal in February, then for Castoria in July. Then I plan to go a whole year without summoning for Best Waifu Morgan, and hopefully have some left over for Koyanskaya and Oberon.
I mean its fine but its so good to have universal loopers like musashi zerker or spishtar when castoria comes out of course things like melt lancer and other arts servants are still good
my plan is rolling just for skadi this year, then summon okitan and okita saber, also one of my favorite servants (hajime saito). After this almost cursed year for me, i expect 2022 to be a lucky year!
My plan for the remainder of the year leading up to the NYs banner is to pull 1 copy of Spishtar and then 1 of MHXA a week later, and then attempt a 2nd for both [in the same order]. If I so happen to fail to pull a 2nd copy of Spishtar within my budget, i'll try again Jan 2023 (yes i'm aware of how long a wait that is but at the same time, know that she's still a stable looper at np1). Either way, I already have Skadi and have no interest in SO [even though I keep being told he's broken], so i'll basically have nothing to summon for again until NYs (with a couple baits inbetween). Come NYs I was initially thinking of pulling for Yang, but then learned she returns later next year with MHXX, so I now don't plan on doing so until then given the higher value. Same thing for Qin and Kiara, although what I could do for the latter is pull 1 copy of her for NYs and then a 2nd during Tokugawa rerun (although tbh I feel as though i'd be more inclined to np2 Kama instead at that point). Lastly and besides those four there's Shiki which, given how I failed to pull her back during her knk rerun banner and she hasn't yet had another rateup in JP, i'll likely be going for 2 copies of. Just hope it all pans out

I have zero interest in any jp 2020 characters besides castoria so I went all in and got spishtar. Super Orion is strong but I won’t spend anymore than the ticket I get from now to then
Just a suggestion that before making videos where you say when a servant is getting a rate up you first verify that you're right on when it is because lately when you've been announcing when a banner will come to NA next year your information has been wrong.
That's because it's just speculation. Not an exact date due to jp being 2 years ahead. Nothing is fully confirmed when it comes to dates. It's not going to be 1:1 most of the time but it'll be close.

Wish both of you luck since I'm in a similar boat. Have grailed Atalanta and Atalanta_Alter along with kama, achillies and pretty much a quick unit for everything leveled besides saber, caster, forgiener and ruler. (I already have a quick servant for 3 of those 4 I plan on rolling for too.)

I am going to summon for Space Ishtar because I have a lot of Arts or Buster servants. I have also always liked Rin and her character design so the Rin factor is there as well.
Space Ishtar will probably be my last 2021 banner (already got Skadi, not that interested in Super Orion). Will go nuts on the 2022 New Year banner though (I want Shishou, getting Kiara to NP2 would be nice, and Shiki at NP3+ is a luxury, but one I very want to achieve one day).
Some time ago, there is one thing where we can use to enhance a servant straight to level 100. I forgot what the name is. I seems to lost that options. I know there is a time limit on this, is the time limit over?
It was fully ascended to level 80 not to level 100, if it hasn’t expired yet it will probably in the next few days because it was given out during our anniversary and I believe the time limit for it was 90 days
It is unfortunate that the 2 banners I want to summon on this year are so close to one another, but it changes nothing. I will try to NP2 Spishtar with a 1000 quartz, and if at least 300 are left after this, I will try for Skadi.
Thing is I already have Skadi so I'm probably gonna roll for both Space Ishtar and Orion. This is probably not gonna end well (since I'm also f2p) but the power of copium is real. Wish me luck!

I'm going for Spishtar since I lack an omnilooper. I have Skadi, I... don't have a good solo servant but my roster's pretty good so not too high priority. I have Summer BB. So really Spishtar is key.
If you’re considering on getting spishtar, you better pull for her this year’s banner, because the fact that in year 2023 of her rerun, there’s ALOT of competition surrounding her banner, such as Muramasa (oh also Super Orion gets a rerun along with him), Koyanskaya, Melusine, Morgan, Van Gogh, Summer Kama, Oberon, Summer Okitan, and even more crazy servants in that year, so best to save your SQ until then.
Just to note, Space ishtar isn't getting a banner next year. she'll be getting one in January 2023 after new years.

The problem is when you skip Space Ishtar banner this year, her next banner show up again the worst timing IMO.

Super Orion has a rate up in 2023 new yr
Summer BB, Parvati and a friend's Skadi. Yup. I can confirm that I turned it into a 3 turn farming node. Parvati has been looping since before Skadi. She's that good. With Skadi and BB locking her cards there is nothing to stop her from looping and charming indefinitely.
Castoria will come to NA around July 2022. But Spishtar's rerun will come in Jan 2023, so there's quite a few months between their banners. However, that rerun is right after Muramasa's banner which may or may not be worth thinking about depending on how much you want Muramasa.
Bro there's no space ishtar banner next year.
The rerun is in 2023. And the time when her rerun banner will be up. It's gonna be true hell a lot of strong units are gonna come out one after another in 2023. So I absolutely won't recommend skipping on space ishtar if you want her. This is the best time to get her as of yet.

Yeah I'm not sure where he's getting that there is a rerun right after Castoria. I don't play JP but looking at the 2020 schedule I don't see Space Ishtar anywhere. Looks like the Space Wars II rerun won't be until Jauary 2023 unless they speed things up.

At the risk of being crucified, I disagree strongly with Skadi being a "99.9% summon if you don't have her". Not that's she's bad or to avoid, just that she's not even close to "99.9% for sure summon her". So what if she's not been surpassed as the best Quick support? Quick won't be meta soon, and if you're summoning purely for power then why would you summon a servant for a meta that will be obsolete in a few months rather than preparing for the one that will dominate for years? I think a lot of veterans of this game (and I include myself in this) frequently forget just how finicky and specific Skadi builds have to be with no room for replacement in high-end CEs/high-NP servants. I'm not saying Skadi is bad or don't summon Skadi, but what I'm saying is if you're summoning Skadi it better be because you a) have Quick servants you love and want to focus on boosting, or b) because you already have all the Superscopes and NP-bajillion Zerkerlots and such to make it work right now rather than sitting here 8 months from now with incomplete setups and holding a Skadi you'll never use because Castoria and her much more forgiving setups come around.
Or let me put this another way: which do you think is more likely on JP? That they release a servant or a strength up that makes Skadi a competitor right alongside Castoria for best support, or that they release a new super-duper-quick support option that butts Skadi even further out of the meta?
EDIT: And I say this as someone whom DOES love my quick servants most and cares about boosting them above all. Also Osakabehime is a thing. Is she better than Skadi? Definitely not in many situations, but I think people really overlook her just because she hasn't shaken off the stigma from her release yet despite all her buffs.

shes still really good 50 charges plus defense down sure castoria "replaces her" but you have to wait like 7 months for castoria also if you are smart you know the next card type to get a buff is most likely gonna be quick on jp so think of it as kind of an investment

I feel so utterly alone in not rolling for Space Ishtar. To be fair, my account is almost entirely Buster-focused and Buster SpIshtar is the weakest version of her.
For me, I'm saving for Ereshkigal in February, then for Castoria in July. Then I plan to go a whole year without summoning for Best Waifu Morgan, and hopefully have some left over for Koyanskaya and Oberon.

my plan is rolling just for skadi this year, then summon okitan and okita saber, also one of my favorite servants (hajime saito). After this almost cursed year for me, i expect 2022 to be a lucky year!
I'm rolling on Space Ishtar for Jane to keep my 4* collection (nearly) complete. Skadi will be my all-out target.
My plan for the remainder of the year leading up to the NYs banner is to pull 1 copy of Spishtar and then 1 of MHXA a week later, and then attempt a 2nd for both [in the same order]. If I so happen to fail to pull a 2nd copy of Spishtar within my budget, i'll try again Jan 2023 (yes i'm aware of how long a wait that is but at the same time, know that she's still a stable looper at np1). Either way, I already have Skadi and have no interest in SO [even though I keep being told he's broken], so i'll basically have nothing to summon for again until NYs (with a couple baits inbetween). Come NYs I was initially thinking of pulling for Yang, but then learned she returns later next year with MHXX, so I now don't plan on doing so until then given the higher value. Same thing for Qin and Kiara, although what I could do for the latter is pull 1 copy of her for NYs and then a 2nd during Tokugawa rerun (although tbh I feel as though i'd be more inclined to np2 Kama instead at that point). Lastly and besides those four there's Shiki which, given how I failed to pull her back during her knk rerun banner and she hasn't yet had another rateup in JP, i'll likely be going for 2 copies of. Just hope it all pans out

I've got NP2 Summer 'Sashi; even so I was thinking I was going to roll on Spishtar to have her, but with the release of Summer Kama on JP I know that if I use Spishtar at all, every time I do, I'll just be "dreaming of Genie". "This could be Kama. But it's not. It's just Spishtar."

Just a suggestion that before making videos where you say when a servant is getting a rate up you first verify that you're right on when it is because lately when you've been announcing when a banner will come to NA next year your information has been wrong.
That's because it's just speculation. Not an exact date due to jp being 2 years ahead. Nothing is fully confirmed when it comes to dates. It's not going to be 1:1 most of the time but it'll be close.

I'm in the same boat. In fact, they're really the only strong quick servants that I have besides Ushi but they're so good that it's worth going after Skadi just for them.

Wish both of you luck since I'm in a similar boat. Have grailed Atalanta and Atalanta_Alter along with kama, achillies and pretty much a quick unit for everything leveled besides saber, caster, forgiener and ruler. (I already have a quick servant for 3 of those 4 I plan on rolling for too.)

Space Ishtar will probably be my last 2021 banner (already got Skadi, not that interested in Super Orion). Will go nuts on the 2022 New Year banner though (I want Shishou, getting Kiara to NP2 would be nice, and Shiki at NP3+ is a luxury, but one I very want to achieve one day).

Some time ago, there is one thing where we can use to enhance a servant straight to level 100. I forgot what the name is. I seems to lost that options. I know there is a time limit on this, is the time limit over?
It was fully ascended to level 80 not to level 100, if it hasn’t expired yet it will probably in the next few days because it was given out during our anniversary and I believe the time limit for it was 90 days

It is unfortunate that the 2 banners I want to summon on this year are so close to one another, but it changes nothing. I will try to NP2 Spishtar with a 1000 quartz, and if at least 300 are left after this, I will try for Skadi.
Current plan is to bottom out on both Ishtar and Orion and hope for the best on each. Then I guess save for Castoria.

I'm going for Spishtar since I lack an omnilooper. I have Skadi, I... don't have a good solo servant but my roster's pretty good so not too high priority. I have Summer BB. So really Spishtar is key.

If you’re considering on getting spishtar, you better pull for her this year’s banner, because the fact that in year 2023 of her rerun, there’s ALOT of competition surrounding her banner, such as Muramasa (oh also Super Orion gets a rerun along with him), Koyanskaya, Melusine, Morgan, Van Gogh, Summer Kama, Oberon, Summer Okitan, and even more crazy servants in that year, so best to save your SQ until then.
Spishtar rest into skadi after if u have left after save for castoria also ssr ticket next year so if u have no waver it’s worth it
