Hi! Your tutorials are very helpful. I just have one question, for the last exercise you grouped the layers. However, my sketchbook doesn't seem to have that option and the sketchbook website says it's not available for windows 10. Would u you happen to know how/if I can get it somehow. Also in case, I cant does it matter if I don't group the layers?
Does anyone know how to fix the fact that on my locked layer all the colours are faded? I tried looking for a solution all over the internet and I still don't have an answer... If you know anything that may help, please let me know :)
I notice your toolbar and color palette and layer editor are small, May I know how you do that, I tried to find how to make mine smaller so they will not occupy to much space. I want to see more of the paper to work on. Thanks. I shared your videos to my friend's kid, she just got her new laptop (she is 9 yo) and I installed her Sketchbook.
The size of the toolbar depends on your screen resolution. My monitor is 1920 x 1080. If you have a laptop that runs 1280x720 the brush palette and toolbar will be larger on screen. One thing you can do is quickly hide all the windows by pressing the "tab" key. Then you can have much more space to draw. When you need the windows back press tab again. Good luck!
@@mr.h Thanks, I got that already from one of your lesson and I really appreciate your time making them I hope you will continue to make more, not just how to use the app but share us some of your tips and tricks to make drawing fun. Sometimes seeing someone draw will help you to try again. I'm a self taught drawer/designer never attended any formal training but for me to learn things I need to see from someone's perspective and if I like what I see it drives me to follow that path, just to learn. I learned carpentry, baking, fixing things by watching others. Please post more Sketchbook lessons I really want to learn this app. I'm getting old (52) and I want to draw my own photos that I've taken. I like nature but want to learn how to draw people, it's a weakness of mine, but want to develop it. I like the way you teach by the way I'm a teacher too. Looking forward seeing more lessons. Thanks
I always had trouble with being able to color within line work without going outside it so this cleared a lot up. Thank you!
Glad I could help!

I'm erasing on the shadow layer, but still, my line art and colour are still getting erased. Why?
What is the maximum number of layers and groups in sketchbook?

Is the layer opacity at 100 percent?
