This video is gold. Been using sketchbook for a while now, but i didn't knew that the little lock in the layers did lock the tranparency or that you can do such cool things with your selection. This so helpful.

Thanks! This was so helpful! I just got a iPad and the Sketchbook app so I can start digital art.(I got the Apple Pencil 2nd gen which doesn’t work on my 9 gen iPad so I have to exchange it.) I’ve always been confused about layers,so this was pretty helpful! Thanks again!❤

Hi! Procreate has more features and better export options. I just like the way Sketchbook is laid out and I like the interface more.

I feel.like you could have explained WHY you took certain steps. When you spoke about the selection tool and switching layer positions you didn't explain what exactly was happening by doing so.
