Just to be clear, Helpers have said that Rocket Artillery for standard Radio Operators is not coming. So, at minimum, it would be another major update before that's added. Maybe rocket artillery will come to standard squads later. But I doubt it unless people are vocal about it. So leave a comment if you think tech tree radio operators should get rocket artillery! I would say they need to add more maps for pacific tbh, Manchuria doesn’t make sense tbh (at least right now). The pacific (campaign) are lacking soo much pacific battle maps it gets tiresome, and boring. I wish they would add Burma campaigns, Iwo Jim’s, Okinawa, Philippines…
I'm pretty new and just got my Puma the other day and my god the upgrade cost escalated quickly. 18,000 silver for max level, with the 40% price reduction... 30k... For one upgrade, on one vehicle, on one faction... I mean I had the silver lying around because I sold most of my pre-merge squads, but that's still ridiculous. I'm dreading what the cost of a full squad of upgraded STG's or FG-42-II's is gonna look like.
@@fuzzythoughts8020 I invested in premium for a year and I got battle pass. During the sale I also bought paratroopers, slots, tanks (Flame). I have so many vehicle upgrades now from BP, I will use them for final tier in tech tree to save cost. So basically, I research weapons until tier 5 then I focus on tanks and planes since vehicle gameplay is more chill and less grind. Getting gold order from BP, also helps the grind with high tier vehicles.
Graphical teaser was uploaded 5 years ago, so basically they went back the graphic and lighting where it used to be when it was a beta testing years ago. That's what I remember that it was more beautiful back then. 😂
So... it's basically a cooler and better version of the regular artillery barrage ? One lock behind a paywall ? I see nothing wrong with that... I would much rather have artillery emplacement build by Engineers (available only to Radio Operator/Mortar squad maybe ?). How cool would it be to be able to build a Nebelwerfer or a Land Matress and rain death and destruction directly (well, indirectly, it's an artillery weapon alright) on the battlefield ? Balance wise, it's pretty hard to hide, can't be deployed anywhere unlike a mortar and the smoke of the rockets barrage can give it's position away pretty easily so I don't thing there is much to do on that front. But no. We can't have nice thing now can we ?
Player built artillery would be amazing! :D Also love the idea with adding it to Radio or Mortar squads, gives them more purpose in a lineup. Smaller ones for Tier 1, medium arty for Tier 2 and the rocket stuff for Tier 3 squads.

Has enlisted got any better at all? When they did the merge, update that really frustrated me and haven't played since then. I had gotten to the max level for both Germany and Russia and was working on Japan. The part that really irritated me is that there wasn't an option to use the previous squads for a selected country though I don't remember exactly what all they were. I kind of just want to go back to playing with my original squads I had for each campaign
No Katyusha gang will suffer without it availible for everyone. Also some may argue this could he pay to win depending on the cool down timer between barrages and if its spamable if you have a 10 stack of rockets one after another as a defender. Definetly if it has the same timer as artillary. Also possible they could destroy tanks while regular artillary could only kill light tanks/Open top, and APC's.
So whats the trade offs for the rocket artillery? At least for the bomber strike, its a high risk/reward where there's enough time for the bombers to be shot down or infantry to escape in exchange for the potential of multiple squad wipes. The teaser for it does make it look like it has a smaller area compared to the other artillery.
I am okay with it being premium/event only, as long as it comes back as an event reward with some regularity. An event squad store, that comes back with events, would be welcome imo and allow them to still make money. They do have to fund the game after all.

Okay Rocket arty for Germany will probably gonna be a pay to win squad (at least against the allies/usa). They can go two ways regarding the rocket arty damage impact system, either make it in accurate wide/big radius impact zone (like a bombing run) with small blast radius or small accurate impact zone with wide blast zone. Either way if they’re not adding rocket arty for other faction it’ll be to unfair, unless they make the cool down timer much longer and even still it could still be op since multiple players can have those premium squad equip.
More people would probably buy premium squads and vehicles if they were $5 to $10 rather than $30 to $60. They would make more money in the long run if they dropped the prices and made more sales. I'd never pay $60 for a digital asset
Yeah not excited for only premium radio operators have the rocket option. I'd like to see all playable positions in aircraft especially when you've got fighter bombers who have more than one gunner positions like nose gunner and belly gunner just playable gunner behind pilot sucks

Dude. Paratroopers and APCs havent come to the tech tree yet. Now the APCs are still relatively new so they get a pass but the sheer fact its been over a year and theres still no paratroopers in the tech tree for F2P players and so far only unarmored trucks and half tracks in the tech tree. It doesnt bode well for tech tree rocket artillery men.

This entire major update seems mid, aside from the graphical changes which seem nice and maybe the rzhev maps. However nearly everything interesting that got added is premium locked, on top of that only 2 infantry weapons

when you say "I much better have devs work on other stuff in the game" you forget that different people do different parts of the game. Render programmers, who obviously did a great job here, can't magically fix bad animations and vice versa. Im not saying that animations and other problems should not get fixed. But the results of what you are seeing here did not take development time of other parts of the game except ones related to rendering. And as you said yourself, Enlisted already looked okay before

Idk what type of artillery is being fired, but if it's 152 and up, rockets do not in fact have more explosive filler, hell, even 122s have more.
