The AS-44 is my go to tbh. Especially with recoil reduction and fully upgraded. And it may sound silly, but the bayonet saves me so often when clearing rooms, stairs, halls etc.
Recently started the grind for the Soviets after maxing the axis. Tanks in the low tier for the Soviets feel so inferior to the German low tier. JUST LET ME PEN THEM, PLEASE
T-28 is a straight downgrade to T-50, and the main difference and the reason to pick up a foldered T-28E is its shell - you get a good APHE round that can front pen everything in your BR range except for maybe addon armor tanks like Pz3N and M. The Shrapnel shell on the default T-28 cannot frontally pen anything starting from Pz3J and Pz4, you have to carefully aim for the roof of the turret to kill these tanks from the front. T-50 and T-28E are 2 balanced options to choose from at BR2 - one provides more armor and survivability with good anti-inf with double MG and quick-firing HE, while the other lets you shred inf with 3MGs+powerful HE while giving a reliable way to kill tanks but you will die from as much as light breeze in your general direction. About RD-44 - Enlisted resource excel says it has an incredible -20% speed penalty, only matched by a golden order W.A.R., other "light" MGs like BARs have a -25% debuff
IMO Soviet is the faction to go if you want straight grinding out for firearms as they didn't have much variation of firearms compared to other faction like Germany or USA and the soviet only getting stronger with their equipment from BR III above
something funny lol. i played enlisted for some time on relise and then stoped. i came back to it now and the game has changed a ton lol. anyways i got started with a t34. at rank 4 lol
Pro tip: if enemy planes get close enough you can 1 shot them with the anti tank rifles without having to lead your shots. In br2 planes usually fly very low so it’s a good reliable way to take down annoying enemy stukas and the like
1. Bolt actions are down to personal choice, but Winchester doesn't have a bayonet, meaning no charging or fast melee. Mosin M1938 carbine is my go-to. 2. PPS-42 actually has lower recoil/dispersion than PPS-43. 3. A good player must always have both APC/truck and rally point in their setup, not either/or, so take GaZ AAA. 4. RD-44, AS-44 and Fedorov (after Winter War) were never used in WW2 so use them at your own risk of being a filthy time-travelling Billy.
@@bbcmotd Logistics my friend, it doesn't matter if you have 1000 soldiers and 2000 rifles if you can't deliver the rifles and their ammo to your troops The problem was not about making the equipment but delivering it to their soldiers War is more about logistics than anything else really
Once you have 3 engineer squads armed with AVT-40 or AVS-36 and La-7, you can kill anything anywhere. But even I-135 is deadly plane for any dogfight and Yak-1/Yak-7 and La-5 can work well even against tier V planes. Winchester 1895 is one of best repeating rifles in game maybe sharing position with quick firing Mannlicher rifle. IL2-3 can be deadly groundcleaning tool. IL-10 can do well even in Air-Air battles and is perfect for hunting bombers or twin engine enemy planes, because it survives even some hits from gunners. Fedorov is absolute brutal gun. KV-2/85, T34/85 are quite OK, IS-1 also. IS2 has extra slow reload and gun is nowhere near the realistic capability.
A couple points I have after leaning into BR2 for a month or so. 1. The lever action is fun but I have a hard time seeing the sights, the front post kinda just blends into the rear posts forming a single "bar" to my eyes. I honestly think the rifle comes to preference as I use the bolt actions and prefer the sights because the front post can be used like a ghost ring for fast acquisition, the SVT also has this ring. 2. For BR2 you're often fighting BR3 vehicles so you want something to punch-up above your weight, the T28E doesnt have much armor but has a cannon and AMMO decent for penetrating Panzer IVs and a much larger splash for HE than smaller cannons. 3. The biggest difference between the T28 and T28E is that the former (T28) ONLY has shrapnel and HE shells which are both for infantry. The T28E has Armor Piercing shells so use it so you can fight tanks, this is not something you see just looking at the menus. As of now you can't see ammo types in the menu, and ammo types make a huge difference. Separate point but bigger cannon does not always mean better, it comes down to the ammo as well.
for assaulters I usually tend to go for the second weapon slot, and then have a primary ppsh41, and secondary federov, the ppsh can clear out rooms, and the federov is when i already have a good place and dont want to switch positions, as if you have good aim, you can easily 2 shot enemies like half way across the map. For machinegunners I also go for the dual wielding weapons, the primary being the RD44 and the secondary being the maxim tokarev, this means that I have a weapon for nearly all circumstances. very helpful quadro, thx
No mention of the La-7 in BRV is CRIMINAL! Also, I actually prefer the Mosin 91/30 in BRII. Being limited by the bolt action helps keep me from throwing the very limited capacity of 5 rounds around haphazardly.

I cannot recommend Yak-1 enough, it is an amazing plane, excellent diver too with good bombs for the tier. Personally, I recommend the 91/30 Mosin over Winchester, they are practically the same, but Mosin has better sights and a bayonet, if you ever need that extra ROF it will be in CQB situations, where bayonet is your best friend. Madsen is a ot pile of shit, definitely avoid it unless you really like the gun. Avoid T-28, it is a not very good against tanks, the best option is definitely T-28E because it has a decent AP shell. I disagree with quadro on tier 3 planes, yak-3 and La-5 are excellent fighters, but their ground attack capability is non existant. IL-2 with 37mm guns is something I would personally avoid. Since Quadro did not mention planes in 4 and 5 i will just say that they are nothing special, just small upgrades to previous ones.
