The canned laughter is too much
All episodes were filmed in front of a *live studio audience* - as has always been the case with BBC/Dave studio-based comedy. An air of certainty when not in possession of the full facts is not a good look, mate.

I dunno, seems like the jokes are written by teenage boys. Honestly, point out the joke that was funny and unexpected? You can get most of these jokes from compilation sites or just use your memory to reflect on how many times these jokes have been used before. Epic fail

Oh, hello nine months ago. Who was defining comedy? It started weak, got weaker, the BBC who I'm sure would have preferred it not to be weak cancelled it for being weak, it came 30 years after The Day Today and was 30 times less funny. How are the viewing figures? Strong?
I've got news: Anybody who watches "Strictly Come Dancing" is already more than just a little gay to start with.
