Thanks again Peter for playing my game and providing such valuable feedback. I really appreciate the kind words and I look forward to sharing a future version with you. Interesting game, good video, excellent for a lone dev! I agree, Generals vibe all over this which suits me fine-Generals ZH Generals Challenge is my best RTS experience ever. Great to hear multiplayer being ignored, this may be a dev with some business sense tacked onto obvious tech and design skills :) Make the factions unique and interesting, don't ruin them for 'balance'. My starting faction will be the one with the air power-Endeavor if I recall correctly-as that's always been my fav military branch in RTS.

@@darkcyter the units are distinctly different. I found myself picking one faction over the other after only a few playthroughs. I thought I liked the shields best, until I tapped into the power of artillery 😂
Totally happy for just single player. I make a huge assumption with knowledge to back up my assertion that factoring in multiplayer would not be good. This is because I assume a developer would need to develop a greater balance towards fairness, and I also assume that usually means weakening the individuality of different factions.
Hi and thank you for sharing your thoughts on this topic. I honestly think developing multiplayer, and a good one at that, is really hard and would take many resources that could be better spent on extra SP content. What do you think of the factions so far?
@@perafilozof I actually don’t know which i would prefer. Usually it’s a clear cut choice but they both look good. Nice. More upcoming RTS to look out for. Sadly out of all my RTS wishlists, none have 1.0 releases yet, so I'll have to patiently wait, and return to my Tiberian Sun Warzone mod for the time being.
Totally understandable. Takes time and effort to get to 1.0. especially for small teams or lone one man devs like in this case. As for a finished game, have you changed out The Fertile Crescent?
@@perafilozof unfortunately the fertile crescent was not the type of RTS i was into. I'm looking forward to Age of Myth Retold if it's empire-like RTS games.

Looks pretty cool except for the problem with the map ending in the void and the UI, the UI is horrible, doesn't look practical at all. It's still janky. The focus on single player in RTS is never a good idea so maybe on the long run the dev will consider it? Be it co-op or competitive. The horrible UI is what ultimately prevented me enjoying executive assault 1 and 2.
