Thanx for the info. Question though, why was it necessary to run the machine to get rid of 3 cups of water? Why not just add the 2 and a half cups of Vinager then fill to 12?

After descaling, my coffee didn't run through the basket properly. It just pooled in the basket. How do I fix it to go back to normal.

If I wanted to could I pour the hot vinegar / water brew back into the fill port and deacale a second time?
I would not. You have removed deposits in the machine. Vinegar is very inexpensive. Use the left over mixture to clean a toilet bowl if you want to stretch your dollar. Think of this as a way to extend the life if your machine.
My water won’t come out of tank into carafe. I didn’t use coffee maker for 6 months help lol
My biggest complaint is electric has a blip and you have to set every thing, and I do not like their strength measurement set up, i put my own measurement scoops in daily
is this coffee maker worth the cleaning hassle? The grinder appears to demand much more maintenance. Curious if you think this is the best fresh grind coffee maker out there. Thanks
Great Question. If you have to have a all in one then this one is nice, I like the different brew sizes it does and it grinds the coffee accordingly. but if you are just make a pot of coffee then I would probably get a seperarte grinder. I have a OXO grinder that I love, and just make your own coffee with a coffee maker. You are correct. this coffee maker will be a lot of work to keep it running but it does a great job if you are willing to put in the work.
I feel it’s a lot of work BUT worth it for the quality of coffee you can brew on this machine. If I am in a rush I use my single cup machine. For most mornings I use this coffee maker

It is not working. After I press botton for 5 secs It shows time 26:18 then makes a loud beep and shows 0:001 start botton flashes white and remains like that forever, does not start working. Any idea what is wrong?

I don't know why this couldn't just be an option in the menu. There are many things on this machine that are complicated and should be preset. I've had to send it to be repaired once already. It was returned not calibrated and I still haven't figured out how to do that. I have watched your video several times but it just seems too much hassle. That setting should be precalibrated options in the menu and/or linked to the strength setting.

There's one thing about this machine that freaks me out: I can't see, remove and clean the water tank. My imagination gives me gross slimy pictures of what might be inside of it. I know vinegar does the job, but I just can't use this coffee maker if the water tank can't be cleaned properly :(
doesnt it use UV light to clean the water? pretty sure mine does
