The reason for the snow in the hotel room and the freezing of the rails where Harlan hid from Allison in Episode 2 emphasizes that Harlan's lack of emotional control causes a cold front as per the second-season finale. A rewatch of the scene shows the hotel ceiling intact. Incidentally, the cold front wasn't originally in the S2 script; they had to improvise due to an unexpected snowstorm. It works out well, though; at first watch I hadn't noticed the freezing stairway railings, or I probably would have known right away that Lester Pocket was Harlan.
I think they tried but didn't send it home that being transported to the Jim Crow South as a black person out of time would be harrowing in and of itself. There's no excuse for what she does. Her powers are already a slippery slope. At the same time, she hasn't healed from the first season even. She never saw Claire and dealt with emotional turmoil from Reggie’s death while being the right-headed one in the family. Then the texas stuff. Then top that off with her nonstop drinking this season. That being said, I do think the writing is a bit off. Not with Allison, all of this tracks for me, but with the reaction to it by other family members.
This is such a horse shit argument that I keep seeing people use to defend her. She is mourning her family sure, but she literally killed Viktor's surrogate son, used her powers to brainwash Viktor while they kept him on drugs so he didn't know he had powers until he was an adult, gave him mental health issues by repressing him and treating him like an outcast in his own home. But no. Allison, the one who was able to get fame, a family, and whatever else she wanted with her powers, is the one in the worst state of grief out of anyone. Get the fuck out of here. If I were Viktor I'd want to end the fucking world too, and specifically kill Allison for consistently being the biggest bitch of their entire family to Viktor since season 1, when she *wasn't mourning shit*. Fuck Allison, hope she dies next season.
I totally agree regarding the pain of being a Black person in the Jim Crow South; honestly, if she was gonna be mad at anyone, she should've been mad at Five for transporting them to that era, of all eras. Not that Five intentionally sent them there (or deserves to be spoken to like that), but considering that Allison blames an autistic man who couldn't control his powers for "erasing" a child who still wouldn't have existed even if he had controlled his powers, I wouldn't put it past Allison to have taken it out on Five.
The one positive thing I can say about Allison is kudos to Emmy Raver-Lampman for doing a phenomenal acting job by making me repulsed by her character. Regarding Claire, it's important to remember that it's presumed that Allison rumored Patrick into loving her, so Claire was ultimately a product of that mind-rape. So, in that sense, maybe she had never deserved Claire in the first place, which I have thought from the beginning despite my loving her character growth during the second season and feeling OK with her the first.
And is now trapped in a new world where his wife is nowhere to be a found ... a world created by said "sister" ... there is no way in a million years that he could ever forgive Allison for that.
I'm an Allison fan, and I understood the emotional decisions she made this season. The shit she's been going through, the devasting pain she must be feeling, but Allison went too far with what she did to Luther.
I also loved Allison, especially in Season 2, but I gotta say I actually kinda like her villain turn. But I do admit that most of it is just how well Emmy Raver-Lampman plays her this season. She plays seething, unspoken rage really well.
There's no excuse to try to rape someone, or murder someone else's surrogate child and then try to play the victim. There should be 0 people saying they are "an Allison fan" after this season.
All I can say is that I’m so disappointed with Allison this season. Which is a shame since her arc was excellent last season. But this season she is the absolute worst and acts completely irredeemable throughout the whole season 3. No amount of grief is an excuse for her actions this season and even more upsettingly, she eventually gets REWARDED for it.
I mean hey people who are desperate and with enough emotion like you remember the avatar saying harsh words won't resolve things action will or emotions cloud judgement
@@usercris2902 [Spoilers] How is it justifiable for her to spend the whole season lamenting her daughter, only to turn around and kill Harlan without a second thought, someone who was Sissy's son and VERY important to Viktor? She threw that completely out the window almost immediately after saying it. How is it justified for her to throw Viktor under the bus for his actions and that "he caused this" when Allison is the one who is constantly going off the rails and not sticking to plans/acting selfish and fucking things up in her own right? yeah, nah

I understand how Viktor feels responsible for Harlan. It's kind of his fault that he got those powers and that he spent his life hiding and never really lived. I understand why Viktor wants to protect him.
I hate the way they turned on Harlan. It angers me. A real gut-deep, visceral anger. He saved their lives. None of this is truly his fault. He was... special, and then to have these powers thrust upon him.
It makes sense for them to hate Harlan he killed all of their mothers and is the cause of the kugelblitz. Not being able to control your powers and autism really aren't excuses for causing the destruction of the universe they were pretty justified to despise him
remember guys this time it’s much more that is at cost than just the world - it’s the whole universe that’s dissolving right now. Since you said they have to go back in time to their original time line to fix this, at this point time travel doesn’t seem to be an option anymore to solve this apocalypse since remember how the briefcases didn’t work anymore? That’s because the whole time- space continuum is deleting itself right now. There’s nothing left to travel to. It maybe helps explaining Allison’s desperation a little better but still, of course what she did to Luther was messed up beyond. But I like we’re exploring this dark side of her since it has been teased upon so so many times in the past 2 seasons. Can’t wait to see you guys react to how all of it unravels!🙋🏼♀️
Why are people surprised by Allison doing this to Luther when she did it to him when they were kids in their original timeline, which is why he was in love with her in the first place.
Everyone at their max potential are just too op. Five can teleport and time travel. Allison can just say something and make people do it . Diego can control metal objects . And luther is just there
The only confusing thing about Kluas coming back to life is the fact that he didn’t go back to life during the first apocalypse because Five saw his dead body….so I don’t know but that’s the only thing I have to say 😅
Fun fact: this is the *second* show where Robert Sheehan is a superpowered person with immortality, the first being Misfits. I guess he's just immortal in real life 😂
Allison essentially nearly "graped" Luther... and in turn he nearly "graped" her. Its so messed up. She would be a great Villian if she went 💯 to the bad side.
Heck. I find her so despicable that I'm actually rooting for her to die. I've kinda detected her since season 1 cuz she would always make nice with Vanya and then immediately turn around and treat her like crap She's a duplicates manipulative spoiled rotten brat whose ethical compass is me me me me me. Just totally self centered. We're supposed to feel sorry for her cuz Claire and Ray but so what-everyone has lost someone and many lots more than her. But she acts like her pain is the only important pain and worse, that it entlitles her to treat others like crap. She's quite simply a bad person and has been one since the show began. Ray deserved so much better
Spoiler I instantly made Harlan my favorite character and he might be powerful than Viktor due to the fact that Harlan literally had his powers most of his life. And then Allison T_T Im not ok after that episode, wanted to convince myself that he just played dead and still waited for Harlan to show up after that episode :')
In my mind they really jump the sharks with Allisons Character (of course nothing against the actress) Trauma of Losing things stretches reasonability And what you can "gett away with" just so far And there were so much dark implications what her almost did In this episode🤔(I have To say that I was Kinda lets say "fedub" on her Character decisions this season.
Allison has always been the kind one keeping them together, I get that she lost Ray and Claire and ain't about time for her villainous era until she did that. Poor Luther.
Bruh, what?? Allison used her powers in the very first season to convince Viktor that he didn't have powers while they were drugging him to suppress them, which caused the first apocalypse when Viktor realized what they did to him. She's been a shitty character since the beginning.
I feel bad for Allison it's a similar situation where katara in the southern raiders episode where she wanted to find the man that her mother away except katara learned to forgive herself and zuko and not the man who took her away but like alliison
Personally, I'm all here for Allison becoming the villian. Not only did she lose her daughter the first time they time travelled (which she probably never even fully healed from in season 2), she lost Ray, a love that was created genuinlly without the use of her power which is probably why it hurts more, plus the fact that no one in her family (bar Diego) really empathises with her and the fact that she literally got thrown in the most racist time period in america and faced/witnessed traumatic things. And I dont think it's far fetched her turning evil considering from season 1 we already knew she'd used her powers for manipulation purposes anyway.
She is a member of one of the most emotionally-repressed families in TV history. She had zero reason to expect empathy from anyone, which is why it's great character development for Diego to offer her support. If anything, she should've empathized with Viktor more since he was also isolated and dismissed by everyone else. Viktor also lost a lover and child (Sissy and Harlan), which makes it even more infuriating and frankly nonsensical that they are driven further apart this season instead of closer together.
Allison was the least likable character for me since season 1. The way the character was written i figured this eventuality. Like Killgrave in Jessica Jones.
Same! And people act like Sexual Assault is new for her, but it's literally not. "I heard a rumour you loved me" is *very* telling. She really got married twice, then got mad at Luther for moving on from her and finding someone to love who *actually* loves him back. She can't handle things not being totally in her control. That's what a power like hers would do to a person. You get so used to just being able to get whatever you want that when you lose that control, you'll do whatever it takes to get it back. And that apparently includes Sexual Assault. She is not a good person and never has been. People were just somehow able to overlook it in the past because it wasn't shoved in their faces in a way they couldn't ignore until now.
Not much of a twist, she's been a bitch since season 1 when she was rumoring Viktor and drugging him while they all treated him like an outcast for "not having powers."
Took 3 seasons for us to kind of stand the Deep and even then no, I don't root for him at all. And even then, there _is_ a difference between manipulating and power dynamics and literally mind-roofing someone when they had no control over their bodies.
@@beaucei6003 because the deep Is a pathetic loser with body dysphoria and who literally gets some karmic rape and is disgustingly funny and Allison is a narcissistic serial rapist who abuses her power and her family is a protagonist who you are meant to root for and unlike the deep who is always getting what he deserves Allison gets everything she wants and will likely get some underwhelming redemption arc. plus Allison is a worse person than the deep and has gotten more despicable while the deep is a lot less rapey.
I hate two characters in this show since the beginning or at less halfway through season 1, and they are Allison and Vayna. They are soo annoying and they are the reason everything happened for the most part
Remember Allison left her husband so she could be with her child only to find out she doesn't exist so she ended up losing both. Cut her a bit of slack.
Oh, yes. That really excuses Sexual Assault. Luther said no, she forced him to kiss her. She would've kept going if he hadn't been resisting. What's worse is that *this isn't the first time she's done this!* "I heard a rumour you loved me." And that was *before* she lost her husband and daughter. There are no excuses. If she was a man no one would be making excuses for what she did. She's not a good person and never actually has been.
except even if her daughter existed in this timeline she still wouldn't be hers and she'd probably have to kill her doppelganger. Allison is a fucking idiot.

I never thought I would say this but poor Luther man.....he has now been sexually assaulted by his ''sister'' and I feel bad for him....
And is now trapped in a new world where his wife is nowhere to be a found ... a world created by said "sister" ... there is no way in a million years that he could ever forgive Allison for that.
I loved that ending of the episode and Diegos reaction to seeing Klaus' body. Highlights of a pretty intense episode!
27:33 lol. The word you’re looking for is founded. As in the founder founded the foundation. 😂
@@trashsplashtucker facts she raped him
All I can say is that I’m so disappointed with Allison this season.
Her reward is only the Calm before the storm I think
the only thing irredeemable and unjustifiable is the SA to luther, everything else is justifiable and reasonable 💀
I swear I’m gonna be so mad if Allison gets her happy ending and not Luther with Sloane next season
@@usercris2902 [Spoilers]
How is it justifiable for her to spend the whole season lamenting her daughter, only to turn around and kill Harlan without a second thought, someone who was Sissy's son and VERY important to Viktor? How is it justified to betray Viktor's trust like she did, after earlier giving a "heart to heart" that said she supported him. She threw that completely out the window almost immediately after saying it. How is it justified for her to throw Viktor under the bus for his actions and that "he caused this" when Allison is the one who is constantly going off the rails and not sticking to plans/acting selfish and fucking things up in her own right?
yeah, nah
Them: "Allison!"
Me: *and it gets worse*
I love watching you guys! You are both very insightful and fun. And you are correct; the founder, in present tense, founds (an organization, group, etc.).
I just love that Robert Sheehan has now played two separate characters that are immortal and can see ghosts lmao.
Allison is horrible this season. Some of it is understandable, but the Luther thing was beyond vile.
Allison literally sexually assaulted him. She has become a character I absolutely despise more than anyone.
She didn’t sexually assaulted anyone lmao. Y’all got to stop throwing that term around so loosely.
@@beaucei6003 You're a fucking moron if you think she didn't. What do you think forcing yourself on someone is? Because that's exactly what she did he had no say in what was happening and was actively trying to resist. Get the fuck out of here
@@beaucei6003 idk using powers to make someone fk u, sounds like assault to me
@@beaucei6003 google the definition of sexual assault; it's an umbrella term that highlights a lack of consent, and in this case kissing, and groping. What you are probably thinking of is rape, which is a completely other term. Although, it does fall under sexual assault.
@@beaucei6003 I'd say attempted rape falls under sexual assault
Not me just realizing when Klaus "passed out" in the club last season and saw the little girl on the bike "God" that was actually him dying and not realizing it. That's why his dad was there!
I understand how Viktor feels responsible for Harlan. It's kind of his fault that he got those powers and that he spent his life hiding and never really lived. I understand why Viktor wants to protect him.
FIVE AND KLAUS WILL ALWAYS BE MY FAVORITES🙌🙌
I hate the way they turned on Harlan. It angers me. A real gut-deep, visceral anger. He saved their lives. None of this is truly his fault. He was... special, and then to have these powers thrust upon him.
It makes sense for them to hate Harlan he killed all of their mothers and is the cause of the kugelblitz. Not being able to control your powers and autism really aren't excuses for causing the destruction of the universe they were pretty justified to despise him
THIS
I see Allison so jealous with Sloane since day 1 :(
She doesn’t give af about Sloane she’s just trying to get back to the normal timeline. Lol
Nah she isn't. She doesn't care about anyone really, her mind is off somewhere else.
remember guys this time it’s much more that is at cost than just the world - it’s the whole universe that’s dissolving right now.
27:27 no, he wasn’t able to fix the googleblitz and it seems like five is doing the same thing as his future self
Why are people surprised by Allison doing this to Luther when she did it to him when they were kids in their original timeline, which is why he was in love with her in the first place.
that's only in the comics. the show made a point of having the character's be less shitty than their comic counterparts.
Allison cant keep goin like this. Klaus i think he is probably second powerful to vanya
Viktor*
They had to nerf klause from the comics because ehe was so incredibly strong
Considering klaus cant die but vanya can he is probably the most powerful
Everyone at their max potential are just too op. Five can teleport and time travel. Allison can just say something and make people do it . Diego can control metal objects . And luther is just there
The only confusing thing about Kluas coming back to life is the fact that he didn’t go back to life during the first apocalypse because Five saw his dead body….so I don’t know but that’s the only thing I have to say 😅
appreciate the consistency!
Important distinction is that he did not "grape" her. He had no free will at that moment, and those actions were not his.
Wow. So Klaus has almost the same powers as his actor had in Misfits.
Last 4 episodes are So Glorious!
Y'all. Allison pissed me the hell off this season. I didn't care anymore about her losing her child and husband.
then you shouldn’t care about her killing harlan, or viktor being abused and left out in season one
Turns out even when the end of the world is not Victor's fault, it's still kinda Victor's fault.
Spoiler
I instantly made Harlan my favorite character and he might be powerful than Viktor due to the fact that Harlan literally had his powers most of his life. And then Allison T_T Im not ok after that episode, wanted to convince myself that he just played dead and still waited for Harlan to show up after that episode :')
Finally someone who loves and feels for Harlan as much as I do! Here's hoping he's alive again in the reset universe...
Hated Allison this season. 5 and Klause are my favorite right after is Diego. Enjoyed the season but hate some of the choices the writers made.
I feel bad for Allison it's a similar situation where katara in the southern raiders episode where she wanted to find the man that her mother away except katara learned to forgive herself and zuko and not the man who took her away but like alliison
You guys are my therapy
What happened with your Ozark reactions? Have you reacted to the last episode of the last season? I didn't see it.
Why does Robert Sheehan always play a character who's immortal?
Do watch Hridayam a South Indian Film
I fell in love with every second of it
It only gets worse with Alison from here.
18:53 I had the same reaction lol
I heard a rumor that every season a character appears to die but next episode turns out they ain't really dead lol🎊
Like in season one when he had near death experience and seen his dad did he die there and came back lol🚵
Can you guys please react to Tick tick boom? Is one hell of an amazing movie. 🙏
Allison got on my nerves this season lmfao. Good twist for her character though! Love me some drama!!
Not much of a twist, she's been a bitch since season 1 when she was rumoring Viktor and drugging him while they all treated him like an outcast for "not having powers."
Don't you think your tv is a bit too high up? Seems like you have to stress your necks. It should be in eye level imo but you do you.
Everyone acting like Allison is irredeemable while rooting for a redemption arc for The Deep in The Boys.
Tell me about it. You know the reason right?
Who tf is rooting for the deep, him and allison are the same scummy assaulters
Whose rooting for the Deep? I'm against Allison SA of Luther but the Deep has done far worse than Allison.
This season completly ruined Allison's character by making her a sexual predator...WTF, it's so goddamn frustrating, came out of no-where.
I figured klaus could not die in season 1 when Luther literaly break his neck
What alison did this episode was sooo f'ed up, seriously
This is just grape that's all
Can't stand Allison this season. She's killing the vibe... lol
Guys are you going to react to ms marvel
watch final space. it's better than ram
React rrr movie guys
Reaction on kgf chapter 2
I hate two characters in this show since the beginning or at less halfway through season 1, and they are Allison and Vayna. They are soo annoying and they are the reason everything happened for the most part
I started hating Vanya when she started discovering her powers...
Nice I’m early
Well kinda
React KGF chapter 2
First!
Remember Allison left her husband so she could be with her child only to find out she doesn't exist so she ended up losing both. Cut her a bit of slack.
I understand what's going through her head. Does not excuse sexual assault in any way
Her trauma isn't a excuse to sexually assault someone
except even if her daughter existed in this timeline she still wouldn't be hers and she'd probably have to kill her doppelganger. Allison is a fucking idiot.
I just cant stand Victor and Allison
