This episode was my favorite. the wedding, music, and lastly the dancing together was the best
Not only did Klaus eventually grow to enjoy fetching a ball for his dad and falling victim to vehicular manslaughter, they called it Bus Ball. I laughed at that more than I should've but I'm not sorry for doing so.
yeah, they missed that joke because they already laughed to hard at the "playing catch" part.
not only was the Bus- Ball scene one of the funnies of the show but also the fact Klaus calls it bus ball😂
This episode was my favorite, finally all of the family bonding like they should 🥺. The karaoke session was so wholesome 🤧. And at the end when Luther says this is all he ever wanted. Same Luther Same!!
Sloane and Luther are perfect for each other. So are Diego and Lila obviously. This was actually my favorite episode of the season. It was just so sweet.
I get that you guys wanted to quickly move to the Project oblivion, but this episode was very much required to be what it was. It had some of the best character moments in this season and maybe of the entire show. Like when do we ever say Five just chilling instead of trying to fight the apocalypse. All of the family bonding together is personally more important to me than the Project oblivion, because ultimately it is about the family and their bond.

Luther and Sloane`s wedding was so beautiful in this episode.
for real and even tho their relationship was kinda rushed of course it made lots of sense and felt very real. I mean If you know you only have about 2 days to live why not marry the person you love. As Five said do some things from your bucket list.
Definitely one of the best episodes. I really enjoyed the wedding/bachelor party due to all the wholesome brother relationships and even the romances were great. Though Allison (and briefly Ben) were pretty much the party poopers. Funny how Luther was pretty much acting like the parent when dealing with Viktor and Allison.
This is one of my favorite episodes. Lots of character highlights for each and one of them! Wholesome af
Luther is the best sibling to viktor(and is the heart of the team), yes he made mistakes but he also apologized and learned from them. To me This Ben just seems to want an actual family to love him.
People really give Luther crap but forget he was the one that stayed and chose not to have a personal life cause his dad emotionally and mentally made him believe he wasn’t capable of doing anything else in his life. Yes in season 1 he was forcing himself to still be the leader and protector of the family but that mostly comes from the fact that he realizes that’s all he had and now it’s gone cause they’ve changed and lived their lives while he didn’t. In season 2 though he had a year to deal with the consequences and realize his priorities and how small he really was and is trying to vibe with life even now.
@@ethansolorzano5989 I mean, honestly even in season 1 his choice, wrong as that might be, was aiming at saving the world. Like they said this season; sometimes you have to make the hard choice. We might hate it because we loved Seven as a character, but if we were in this world and the world was at risk of ending, who knows what we would have done!

@@ethansolorzano5989 He's still the most boring character of the Umbrella Academy imo. He did nothing good in 3 seasons, the only memorable things he did is lock up Vanya and get married, so useless. It's a shame because he has potential and he could be the one keeping the family together if he had any credibility and respect as a leader, but even this season whenever he had the opportunity he went with the Sparrows because of a girl he barely knows. It felt like watching a freaking crappy Disney love story while the world is ending.
@@ChevaliersEmeraude no his choice was stupid brain dead and cruel and that whole Harlan thing was out of character. keep in mind Luther locked Viktor up because of Allison not because of the apocalypse if Viktor hadn't accidentally slit Allisons throat he would have never done something so stupid.
My favorite episode! The calm before the storm, were they're singing karaoke together so adorable. Allison going on full blown Karen this entire season is sucks, I can't stand her. Hahah

I’m still trying to understand why Allison is mad at Viktor. Yes Harlan killed their moms, but your daughter still wouldn’t be your daughter or might not even exist at in this timeline cause they never took you when you were born. So the paradox still would have happened either way. If that wasn’t the case that version of Claire wouldn’t even be her daughter, it would be that timeline version of Allison.
I think it's more that she keeps losing someone due to Viktor. If Vanya hadn't threatened the world she might have not needed to go back in time and have to create a life only for it to abruptly end again because of an apocolypse caused by Viktor. She's now left with nothing and just found out again that it was caused by Viktor (Inadvertenly) and I think it'd cause her to just get mad. I think last episode where she blew up at Viktor had some sense of well 'you've taken everything from me and you still have the audacity to act like you're not the cause' kind of thing.
it’s more of even if she was misguided in how to actually get her daughter back she wanted viktor to be just as focused on finding a way to help her rather protecting harlan especially since she HAS always been the one there for him. for her she’s lost everything bc of viktor and viktor was protecting the thing (even though she was wrong) that would get her what she wanted and would have shown viktor was trying to reconcile that.- yes ending the world wasn’t viktor’s fault, allison knows that more than anyone but he still did that 2ce (“vanya is always the bomb”). i understand why allison is mad at him, i even understand why she won’t forgive him - that alone would have made a perfectly complex and reasonable arc but SAing luther and killing harlan is where the writers lost me. they could have made an interesting character instead they made her unredeemable which is such a waste.
@@aviahelm that still more her being angry at Viktor, Vik became who he was in season 1 due to Allison and Reginald making him unaware of his powers and Reginald constantly making him feel small and insignificant. Then Allison pretty much triggered his powers to fully come to life after she remembers she’s the reason he was abused in the family. Luther didn’t help things either as he was already unhinged and put Vik in the box. So it is their fault for what happened to Viktor. Season 2 was time travel shenanigans that followed them so not his fault either. Allison just wants to find someone to blame as she waited to self actualize her mistakes til the damage was already done. She rumored her first husband to fall in love with her then she rumored Claire to make raising a child easier. It’s her own fault.
Because Allison is unfortunately extremely poorly written this season. Love the rest of the season, but goddamn they fucked up Allison.

This almost felt like an episode of "The Boys" where someone got murdered in cold blood, Harlan, and no one cares...
I think that Klaus's power is tied into his manifestation of spirits. Like, if he's able to conjure them and channel them along with the possession power, he's able to banish them as well, if that makes sense. Take Ben for instance. Klaus summoned Ben at his funeral intentionally so I believe some part of it is tied into his ability to conjure them meaning that he'd also have the power to banish them as well. He didn't absorb them, it was like he vanquished them. I mean Klaus is the only one that can see ghosts so he should also have the capability of choosing when not to see them as well.

Oh for sure this is getting renewed. No way is Netflix letting go of the main meal tickets they have. 2 of those being this series and stranger things.
@@ethansolorzano5989 They got rid of a lot of good shows in the past. The last season of Bojack Horseman, while very good, did feel rushed because Netflix decided to cancel it, for example.
This is on par the favourite Netflix show with Stranger Things. They kinda threw this season under the rug not promoting it much and releasing it between Vol.1 and 2 of Stranger Things which makes me really scared. It can't end like this, hopefully it will be renewed

@@nekonebitan2912 that’s what I was thinking as well. But I heard rumors (lol) that it wasn’t all Netflix‘ decisions with the lack of promoting the show since it’s not completely Netflix‘ show. The Umbrella Academy is co produced by Universal Cable Productions and I’ve read someone saying apparently the budget for promotion etc falls under their responsibility. So Netflix can only work with what they’re getting from them. And with the pandemic and all I could imagine that they simply shortened the budget for promotion because of the Corona pandemic and thought that since The Umbrella Academy already has a pretty strong fan base and following the season would still be able to stand strong
(which it did in my opinion).
But yes I agree that the main problem is that they decided to publish it in between Stranger Things because I bet that season 3 would’ve been on no 1 for more weeks and generate an even bigger success If it wasn’t for Stranger Things part 2
Everything (except Luther) Allison done this season I’m ok with. Viktor is always the problem you can’t ignore that just because of how irrational a mother would react losing everything each timeline because of your sensitive sibling who everyone walks on eggshells around
Plus she not only lost Claire but she lost Ray because she thought she'd have Claire back so now she doesn't have either of them

I mean apart from her obvious frustrations I think that was kinda always how she was. They teased it a lot in the past 2 seasons that she definitely has this manipulative, controlling and selfish side to her as well.
Partly she regrets it and therefore has a lot of self- directed anger in her as well and projects a lot of her own faults/ problems onto others as some sort of coping mechanism but she also can’t help it but continue her behavior.
I mean even tho it’s terrible to loose your child and husband - as Five said that is the price you pay for being powerful. I know it’s not her fault but when you are that powerful you have a responsibility to the whole world and you can’t be selfish.
This episode was like 'The Calm Before The Storm' *and that's a warning!*
This family and their daddy issues drive me crazy sometimes. I agree that Reginald isn’t remotely trustworthy as he’s clearly up to something yet they should still be somewhat interested in his plan considering the only other option they have available is death. If nothing else try to use him instead of being used by him. I wasn’t remotely interested in this wedding because it’s just too rushed. I get that the world is ending yet they barely know each other. Allison in this episode just keeps reinforcing her villain image.
Let's not forget Allison rumored Victor that she had no powers.
Let's also not forget both of them were 4 and Reginald had her do it because Viktor was killing people over oatmeal with his powers
Honestly, Allison had lost her husband and her daughter, which made her insane against her whole family.
Without those you love, you go to somewhere deep and ugly. No one knows how to stay the samez and can get lost into a dark place where you don't care anymore, and all hope is useless. Her actions were unnecessary, but she's in an emotional crisis. One that most people never leave behind.

I'm totally not fine with them all acting like, "Let's just forgive that she killed your friend, she's depressed"... Umm no Alisson needs to be murdered asap for killing her friend just cuz she's upset. And this whole episode was a big let down imo because them all ragging on Viktor for being upset is making less and less sense... Especially in this group... Five upset? He's killed way worse and more and done similar... It's not making sense at all. Alisson needs to be the one on her knees begging for forgiveness.
You don't get it. That what happens when you lose people you love. You get lost into this ugly place where you don't care anymore, and all hope dies.
So you better think twice before pretending people don't go through an emotional crisis and scream "Murder" out of hatred - which is a heartless way.

Does that justify anything? Nope. It doesn't matter WHAT she went through, nothing will justify what she did. Nothing. Reasons such as you said can help you understand something, but it doesn't make it ok or good or an excuse. Don't conflate a reason for an excuse. Those are the reasons why she did that. Does nothing for the actions she took.
I think you look for a lot of reasons not to like Allison, instead of trying to understand her, everything she's saying to Viktor, all anger, makes a lot of sense. She was always the most protective sister towards him, and in the end, he chose to protect Harlan over his sister's feelings.
Actually all three end of the world events really are the fault of Reginald, Allison and Luthor. If they hadn't continuously fuck over Vanya the instrument of the Apocalypse her entire life in the original timeline, none of the 3 Apocalypse would have ever happened.
Viktor tried to kill Allison how is it her fault for viktor ending the world
The only time I couldn't blame Allison for her actions was when she first rumored Viktor because she was literally like 3 or 4 years old and she was forced into it
Viktor didn't try to kill Allison, Vanya slit Allison's throat with her violin bow in retaliation for Allison once again trying to rumor her. Viktor only came about because of the first Apocalypse. If Vanya never met Sissy Viktor would have never been born.

But seriously though, how did Vanya becoming Viktor affect the story or plot in any way? To, the change was handled beautifully, it wasn't a big thing, even the siblings just accepted it and that's it. They never made a big deal out of it. It never affected the story. So I don't see what you mean by how this change affected the show. Could you explain?
