Here are my personal favourites: 1. Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead 2. Midnight 3. The Girl in the Fireplace 4. Blink 5. Human Nature/The Family of Blood 6. The Fires of Pompeii 7. Turn Left 8. Gridlock 9. The Waters of Mars 10. School Reunion
IMO, Tennant had the most stellar run of episodes out of any modern Doctor. I'm going to say IMO again before someone tries to debunk my personal opinion. Also, I would have immediately called the police if Midnight hadn't been in its rightful spot.
I generally agree. Chris is my favourite because I started with him, but there are three bloody episodes about farting aliens. Matt was all over the place quality wise, and Peter got cheated until his run was almost over.
Willimations I disagree mostly because I thought the episodes in his run were very inconsistent. My favourite Tennant story is sandwiched between idiots Lantern, love and monsters and fear her. But yes he had some of the strongest episodes of the revival, just also some of the weakest
@@redmist8316 I've only watched a few serials of classic Who, so I haven't seen any from the 1st Doctor era. I've heard there's some good ones from there though
Thank you for pointing out how awesome Alex Kingston’s performance was. It never crossed my mind how well she played River here without all the future encounters with the Doctor even existing.
In Silence/Forest, as good as Tennant is in these, I actually think Alex Kingston upstaged him. She played it just right, with what I gather was very little character info.
@@MovieMagic515 Obviously I agree. When I saw the notification, I was wondering what your reply was about as I haven't mentioned Kingston or River for awhile. :-)
Midnight is brilliant, up there with Heaven Sent for me in Doctor Who overall and above most TV generally. Creepy, controlled, tricky, and just wonderfully weird. Not my comfort rewatch but yes 100% agree for Tennant #1
Forgot to mention acting - astounding artistry but really more consummate skill displayed in both eps, Tennant, Capaldi, and in Tennant’s case supporting actors. Master class.
Family Blood also has one of the most iconic monologues in New Who. And I feel that Midnight somehow shows off DT's experience as a theater actor (it's not the only episode that shows it off but it's one of the best)
I thought this too! Midnight is an episode with minimal special effects, few characters and takes place in one room, it feels like a stage play adapted into a Doctor Who episode. As a theatre brat myself, this pleases me immensely. In fact, one group adapted the episode into a play and it turned out really well.
@@willimations277 Tennant himself said "It’s the closest I’ve ever felt to doing theatre on television. It allowed us to sort of indulge in the acting. You just lost yourself in the playing of it. We were all worried that it might drive all of us properly mad, or that it might be very dull to shoot, but actually it was one of the most exciting times I’ve had on this show.”

Midnight is one of my favorite pieces of television ever. I only recently started watching Doctor Who (I know where have I been all this time?) and I really enjoy and appreciate the show, but this episode rocked me. The performances, the exploration of human paranoia and mob mentality, the simple terrifying unknown nature of the “monster”. It inspires me on so many levels.
1. Stolen earth & journeys end 2. Army of ghosts & doomsday 3 . Silence in the library & forest of the dead 4. Girl in the fireplace 5. Daleks In manhattan & evolution of the daleks 6. Gridlock ( because of boe’s death) 7. Rise of the cybermen & age of steel 8. Smith and Jones 9. New earth 10. Midnight x
What I love about these videos is that you don't have a script; sure, you know what you're talking about, the basic structure, but honestly this makes me understand and feel your journeys with the episodes out of time, and with such compassion and indulgence for those dramatic moments is what I come here for! Keep doing what you're doing, as cliche as this sentence may be!
1. The Girl in the Fireplace 2. Midnight 3. Human Nature/The Family of Blood 4. Blink 5. Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead 6. The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit 7. Stolen Earth/Journey's End 8. School Reunion 9. The Fires of Pompeii 10. Smith and Jones
Blink, Utopia, Midnight, Human Nature/Family of Blood, Girl in the Fireplace, Impossible Planet/Satan Pit, Silence in Library/Forest of the Dead, The Stolen Earth/Journeys End, Turn Left, The End Of Time, But there are SO many others I could have included ... The Tennant era was the PEAK of New Who ... The ultimate culmination of what the show could be in modern times. Packed with fun, adventure, excitement and great casting. It will never be this good again...
1. Fires of Pompeii (for me the quintessential Doctor Who episode. Fun villains, cool location, hard choices, and that "just save one" scene captures perfects why the Doctor needs a companion. 2. Midnight 3. Army of Ghosts/Doomsday 4. Turn Left 5. Blink 6. Human Nature/Family of Blood 7. Rise of the Cybermen/The Age of Steel 8. Voyage of the Damned 9. The Shakespeare Code 10. Class Reunion
I don’t know if I’d say they snuck in the fob watch as it did originate from the Human Nature novel the epodes were based on (though it wasn’t a watch granted). They cleverly found another use for it.
My personal favourite episodes are- Stolen Earth/Journeys End Midnight Waters of Mars Fires of Pompeii School Reunion Army of Ghosts/Doomsday The Girl in the Fireplace Human Nature/Family of Blood Last of the Timelords Forest of the dead
Man, so many great stories. Here’s mine, I rushed this so it may not be my complete ranking. (In no order) •Sontaran stratagem/Poison sky •Waters of Mars •The next doctor •Turn left •Utopia/TSOD/LOTT •Impossible planet/Satan pit •Rise of the cybermen/Age of steel •School reunion •Midnight •Stolen Earth/Journeys end
10.The Fires of Pompeii (Donna pleading with the Doctor to "save one person, just one" catapults this episode from middling to brilliant for me.) 9. The Waters of Mars (The Doctor goes [temporarily] mad with power. And I kinda agree with him. Great stuff.) 8. The Impossible Planet / The Satan Pit (Creepy.) 7. The End of Time Parts One and Two (Yes, it's incredibly manipulative. Shut up and pass the tissues.) 6. The Girl in the Fireplace (The twist is goofy but that doesn't take away from the wonderful performances by Tennant and Sophia Myles. And the Clockwork Aliens are really neat looking!) 5. Silence in the Library / Forest of the Dead (What you said. Plus we get 10 telling off the Vashta Nerada in one of the series' best "I'm The Doctor and you're screwed" moments.) 4. Blink (So well-written. Moffat shows why he deserved to succeed Davies.) 3. School Reunion (K-9 repeatedly telling Mickey "We are in a car": never fails to bring a smile to my face. And Sarah Jane is as wonderful as us long-time Whovians remember.) 2. Utopia / The Sound of Drums / Last of the Time Lords (Martha, my favorite 'New Who' companion says goodbye and breaks my heart while doing it. Bravo, Ms. Agyeman.) 1. Human Nature / Family of Blood (You hit the nail right on the head. John Smith is NOT The Doctor. And we [or I, at least] feel really bad when he must 'die'. Plus Martha breaks my heart in this one, too. 10, you blind idiot!)
Just wanted to let u kno that me and my little sister (she’s 11) absolutely love your doctor who video’s! Keep up the good work, one of the best you tubers out there.
My personal #1 is Human Nature/Family of Blood. I think it’s Tennant’s best Doctor Who acting performance and I like that it highlights how badass Martha really is.
I feel you in the introduction. I'm ranking all of the Redwall books and it's a pain to figure out how much annoyance factor brings a book down. Also, that background noise at Midnight really helped establish a kind of creepy mood. It was cool.
1. Midnight 2. Human Nature 3. Blink (amazing but it's not much of a tenth doctor episode) 4. Impossible Planet 5. Waters Of Mars 6. Silence In The Library 7. Girl In The Fireplace 8. Utopia 9. Doomsday 10. School Reunion
1) Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead 2) Blink 3) Girl in the Fireplace 4) School Reunion 5) Fires of Pompeii 6) Stolen Earth/Journey’s End 7) Impossible Planet/Satan Pit 8) Sontaran Stratagem/Poisoned Sky 9) Voyage of the Damned 10) Partners in Crime
Because, generally, I don’t like Base under Siege stories, my love for Impossible Planet/Satan Pit just shows me how great it is. The first time The Satan character speaks, it is so creepy and effective.
In my book this is by far the hardest Doctor to make a Top 10 list for, just because of how brilliantly written and stupendously imaginative most of his episodes are. That being said, this is what I managed to come up with: 1. The Sound of Drums/Last of the Time Lords 2. Blink 3. The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit 4. Human Nature/The Family of Blood 5. Midnight 6. Daleks in Manhattan/Evolution of the Daleks 7. The Girl in the Fireplace 8. Smith and Jones 9. The End of Time 10. The Waters of Mars Honourable mentions: Army of Ghosts/Doomsday and Turn Left

My list 1 silence in the library /forest of the dead 2 midnight 3 the impossible planet/the Satan pit 4 waters of Mars 5 girl in the fireplace 6 the runaway bride 7 voyage of the dammed 8 planet of the dead 9 utopia/sound of the drums/last of the time lords/my first doctor who stories 10 school reunion Hounerable mentions such as The next doctor blink And many others
1) Waters of Mars 2) Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead 3) Utopia/Sound of Drums/Last of the Timelords 4) Midnight 5) Blink 6) Human Nature/Family of Blood 7) School Reunion 8) Turn Left 9) Impossible Planet/Satan Pit 10) Fires of Pompeii Best non TV media: Mystery of the Haunted Cottage, Prisoner of the Daleks, Pest Control.
So agree about the School Reunion. I just love Tennant's acting chops overall, but I could spend a lifetime staring at him looking at Sarah Jane and remembering with nostalgia the Classic series I have never watched. lol. My god, those two just sharing a scene bring such sentiment and sense of history. That is Tennant just writing that history into our brain with his acting. Their onscreen chemistry is amazing. And the Doctor's fear of love and loss. Brilliant villain. K9. So many, many things. It is such a feel good episode. I head here when I am in the mood to revisit the series.
10: Stolen Earth / Journey’s End 9: Army of Ghosts / Doomsday 8: The Waters of Mars 7: Turn Left 6: Human Nature / The Family of Blood 5: The Impossible Planet / The Satan Pit 4: Partners in Crime 3: Silence in the Library / Forest of the Dead 2: Blink 1: Midnight

Probably Robert Holmes with Steven Moffatin second IMO. Russel was pretty mediocre and really only had 2 good episodes (Utopia and Midnight). Again, IMO
Great Top 10 list, made me want to go back and rewatch The 10th Doctors era. Was wondering if your going to do an updated Top ten 11th Doctor Episodes video as it's been four years since you did your old Top ten 11th Doctor Episodes list video?
My list: 10. Blink 9. Partners in Crime 8. End of Time 7. Turn Left 6. Family of Blood 5. Smith and Jones 4. Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead 3. Waters of Mars 2. Midnight 1. Stolen Earth/Journey's End

Since you like Antony Stewart Head I'd highly recommend checking out an episode or two of bleak expectations where he plays a wonderfully silly villian
10. Stolen Earth / Journey's end 9. Smith and Jones 8. The doctor's daughter 7. Army of ghosts / Doomsday 6. Human nature / Family of blood 5. Midnight 4. The girl in the fireplace 3. Blink 2. Waters of Mars 1. Silence in the Library / Forest of the dead
in utopia, i remember matrha saying, "he's maybe an other timelord, it's great for you" and the doctor's answer to her:" yeah, it depends who he is" so good

You Are very good. Your picks I like.Midnight is the perfect #1, The behind the scenes Show that explains how David And Lesley Sharpe played their repeat scene together is amazing to watch. Two professionals at the top of their game.
1. Silence in the Library/Forest of the dead HM: Blink, Army of Ghosts/Doomsday, Human Nature/Family of Blood, Utopia, Waters of Mars, End of time 2. Smith and Jones 3. The Sontaran Stratagem/The Poison Sky 4. The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit 5. Midnight 6. Rise of the Cybermen/Age of Steel 7. Gridlock 8. The Stolen Earth/Journey's End 9. School Reunion 10. I think rise of cyber man/ age of steel is a criminally underrated episode. It’s such a good reintroduction to the cybermen, better than Dalek in my opinion as it’s tackling far more characters and is a two parter so it has more time to develop the threat. The parallel earth storyline with mickey coming to the realisation he doesn’t need rose and seeks to find more on his own is a great evolution of the character. Also amazing cliffhanger and tennant really coming into his own. Definitely deservers to be in a top ten imo
When me and my sister first watched Midnight we had to binge Too Cute from animal planet immediately after. It scared the hell out of us. It was awesome!
1) human nature/family of blood 2)Silence in the library/forest of the dead 3)Utopia (so underrated!!! ) 4)Midnight 5) The girl in the fireplace 6)Fires of pompeii 7) turn left 8)The impossible planet/the satan pit 9) Gridlock 10) sontaran stratagem /poison sky (just so fun to watch, actually my most rewatched episodes) Note: not too much of a blink fan, I love the weeping angels, the episode however is very much a monster of the week episode, which compared to moffats other two 10th doctor episodes, is a bit boring
10.voyage of the dammed 9.Smith and Jones 8.girl in the fireplace 7.stolen earth\journeys end 6.turn left 5.blink 4.waters of mars 3.human nature\family of blood 2.midnight 1.silence in the library\forest of the dead
Not my favourite Doctor (7th and 12th are my favourites) but Tennant had quite a few solid stories. And he is great actor! I like your top 10. But I've got a somewhat different list: 10: Partners in crime (nice, cute and funny) 9: The girl in the fireplace (emotional and good villains) 8: Stolen earth/Journeys end (full of heroes) 7: School reunion (a good introduction to Who) 6: Planet of the Ood (top noch music, interesting species) 5: Blink (Best new Who villains) 4: Turn left (Best family portrait of any companion) 3: Human nature/Family of blood (great story) 2: Midnight (amazing and great acting) 1: Silence in the library/Forest of the dead (heartbreaking)
My top ten: 10. Voyage of the Damned 9. Utopia/Sound of Drums/Last of the Time Lords 8. Satan pit/ Impossible planet 7. Doomsday/Army of Ghosts 6. Waters of Mars 5. Christmas Invasion 4. Stolen Earth/Journeys End 3. Human Nature/Family of Blood 2. Midnight 1. End of Time 1+2

while I agreed with a lot of your list many of them no, I have my own 10 Smith and Jones 9 fires of Pompeii 8 school reunion 7 shakspeare code 6 utopia/ last of the time lords 5 unicorn and the wasp 4 blink 3 satan pit/impossible planet 2 stolen earth/journeys end 1 silence in the library/forest of the dead I actually dont like midnight or family of blood, these for the most part are just fun romps. School reunion was fun for me as I grew up with classic era who and to see Sarah Jane again after 40 years, still beautiful still as feisty but mature was perfect, and the calibre of actors in ASH as the villian, agreed you CAN believe he's a match! And I was having fun working out which version of K9 this was, to my knowledge at this point there were 3 or 4. Loved Unicorn and the wasp, Dr Who is doing historicals again finally, not pure historicals like classic but still nicely done
I'm cheating a bit, but this is hard, and I don't remember every episode. Anyway, these are my favourites :') 10.) Blink/The Unicorn and the Wasp 09.) Silence in the Library 08.) Fires of Pompeii 07.) The Runaway Bride/Partners in Crime 06.) Planet of the Ood 05.) Tooth and Claw 04.) The Shakespeare Code 03.) The Christmas Invasion 02.) Human Nature 01.) Midnight Do I like to see the Doctor's personality be hidden away/him lose his voice/be unconscious for half an episode? (Apparently.)
This is hard for me because I loved DT so much and thought, for the most part, the writing was spot on. The only one that I really didn't like was perhaps Love and monsters ( I can't erase that from my mind. 1. The silence of the Library-- River Song's introduction. It just couldn't be better. I think Moffet told Alex who he saw River as, so she could play it. The idea came from his love for the Time Travelers wife. Also, the look on Donna's face when River doesn't know her but knows of her. 2. Blink - Doctor Who without (for the most part) the Doctor -- But still having an iconic line Wibbly Wobbly Timey Whimmy 3. Human Nature/The Family of Blood -- For the DT's performance. And for Poor Martha realizing that the Doctor will never love her in a way that she wants him to (that was crushing) 4. School Reunion -- I just loved this. Sara Jane is my favorite, I just love and adore her. I loved her and Rose bonding. When Sara says when it ends call me because it will end. That brought a shiver down my spine. Then oh YES, please can I have some more, Anthony Stewart Head is masterful. 5. The Unicorn and the Wasp -- I love the Doctor and Donna, they work so well together. 6. The Runaway Bride. Donna, how I love you 7. The Shakespeare Code 8. The Next Doctor -- Just because of the possibilities. 9. Army of Ghosts/Doomsday - How I wept after that one. I cried and cried and cried 10 Journey's end.
10. The Stolen Earth/Journeys End 9. Planet of the Ood 8. Blink 7. Turn Left 6. The Girl in the Fireplace 5. The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit 4. Human Nature/Family of Blood 3.. Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead 2. Midnight 1. Waters of Mars
YES!! Thank - fill in the deity of choice or variations thereupon - that Midnight made #1. Although Blink is amazing, you can re-watch it and not be scared second time around, but you can't do that with Midnight without still cringing from the tension. And you want us to re-watch it on purpose?! LOL, damn you are cruel ;-) Here is a 'did you know, moment' having to do with School Reunion: the reason both Lis Sladen and Billie Piper were hysterical laughing in one scene was because Tennant was standing off camera with a big painted on handlebar mustache. Consider that the 'break the Midnight, grasping the arm of your chair' moments. You're welcome :-)
My in laws are not much ones for scary movies, however my nephew and niece started asking me about scary movies, when they realized I was into that sort of thing. At the time, they were 9 and 11, and hadn't really seen anything scary at the time. I wanted to ease them into scary things, and not swing for the fences and traumatize them. So one Halloween, after Trick or Treat, I came over to their house and showed them Blink, and Midnight.... They were of course big hits. My favorite moment being the first time the Weeping Angels face turns evil, and my niece covered her eyes, and my nephew blurts out, "No, Sammie, that's how they get you!" and she threw a pillow at him Now both of them are Doctor Who fans, and I get to be the fun uncle who takes them to scary movies.
I only realised recently that Midnight has the line “Ladies and Gentlemen, and variations thereupon.”
It’s pretty cool
Here are my personal favourites:
1. Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead
2. Midnight
3. The Girl in the Fireplace
4. Blink
5. Human Nature/The Family of Blood
6. The Fires of Pompeii
7. Turn Left
8. Gridlock
9. The Waters of Mars
10. School Reunion
Nocturne basically the same as my list except I would add stolen earth and journeys end as number one instead of silence in the library
That's pretty much my list, except I have too many problems with The Fires of Pompeii so I would have chosen something else. The rest look great!
Maurine T , it’s mostly there for filler honestly. I’m not overly fond of the Tennant era so I found it hard to pick ten 😅
I couldn't agree more but I wasn't a fan of Pompeii
This contains all of the episodes Moffat rote in this era
IMO, Tennant had the most stellar run of episodes out of any modern Doctor. I'm going to say IMO again before someone tries to debunk my personal opinion.
Also, I would have immediately called the police if Midnight hadn't been in its rightful spot.
@willimations jmo I agree with you about his run but I think he got to romantic sometimes
I generally agree. Chris is my favourite because I started with him, but there are three bloody episodes about farting aliens. Matt was all over the place quality wise, and Peter got cheated until his run was almost over.

Midnight is brilliant, up there with Heaven Sent for me in Doctor Who overall and above most TV generally. Creepy, controlled, tricky, and just wonderfully weird. Not my comfort rewatch but yes 100% agree for Tennant #1
Just started watching this vid, and I immediately thought Midnight as #1
Forgot to mention acting - astounding artistry but really more consummate skill displayed in both eps, Tennant, Capaldi, and in Tennant’s case supporting actors.
Baines or whatever his name is from family of blood is also perfect. He plays the role of alien in human body sosososo well.

I really appreciate that you are willing to go back and revisit things like this.
1. Stolen earth & journeys end
2. Army of ghosts & doomsday
3 . Silence in the library & forest of the dead
4. Girl in the fireplace
5. Daleks In manhattan & evolution of the daleks
6. Gridlock ( because of boe’s death)
7. Rise of the cybermen & age of steel
8. Smith and Jones
9. New earth
10. Midnight x
>Council of Geeks.
>Top 10 list.
>Waters of Mars is on it.
:o :O :D
“How did he get in, intruder window” few me every time
It's actually in "Dalek" too
@antinormalish doesn't work as well in an American accent, it'd be same as when he rips that stone guy's arm off and goes 'he's armless enough!'
My favourite part of this video is you gushing over School Reunion... It's always nice to see that level of enthusiasm!
Just as in about to check if you’ve uploaded a video, you appear in my notifications. 😃
Totally agree with this list - Midnight just had to be number one for me.
1. The Girl in the Fireplace
2. Midnight
3. Human Nature/The Family of Blood
4. Blink
5. Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead
6. The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit
7. Stolen Earth/Journey's End
8. School Reunion
9. The Fires of Pompeii
10. Smith and Jones
Blink,
Utopia,
Midnight,
Human Nature/Family of Blood,
Girl in the Fireplace,
Impossible Planet/Satan Pit,
Silence in Library/Forest of the Dead,
The Stolen Earth/Journeys End,
Turn Left,
The End Of Time,
But there are SO many others I could have included ...
2. Midnight
3. Army of Ghosts/Doomsday
4. Turn Left
5. Blink
6. Human Nature/Family of Blood
7. Rise of the Cybermen/The Age of Steel
8. Voyage of the Damned
9. The Shakespeare Code
10. Class Reunion
I don’t know if I’d say they snuck in the fob watch as it did originate from the Human Nature novel the epodes were based on (though it wasn’t a watch granted). They cleverly found another use for it.
Midnight is my favourite too. When I first saw it, I was just blown away with that amazing story.
My personal favourite episodes are-
Stolen Earth/Journeys End
Midnight
Waters of Mars
Fires of Pompeii
School Reunion
Army of Ghosts/Doomsday
The Girl in the Fireplace
Human Nature/Family of Blood
Last of the Timelords
Forest of the dead
Man, so many great stories. Here’s mine, I rushed this so it may not be my complete ranking.
(In no order)
•Sontaran stratagem/Poison sky
•Waters of Mars
•The next doctor
•Turn left
•Utopia/TSOD/LOTT
•Impossible planet/Satan pit
•Rise of the cybermen/Age of steel
•School reunion
•Midnight
•Stolen Earth/Journeys end
Midnight baybeeeeeee, still solid to this day, really glad it's creeping back into people's favourite episode lists.
Amazing vid man, you’ve earned a sub keep it up
10.The Fires of Pompeii (Donna pleading with the Doctor to "save one person, just one" catapults this episode from middling to brilliant for me.)
9. The Waters of Mars (The Doctor goes [temporarily] mad with power. And I kinda agree with him. Great stuff.)
8. The Impossible Planet / The Satan Pit (Creepy.)
7. The End of Time Parts One and Two (Yes, it's incredibly manipulative. Shut up and pass the tissues.)
6. The Girl in the Fireplace (The twist is goofy but that doesn't take away from the wonderful performances by Tennant and Sophia Myles. And the Clockwork Aliens are really neat looking!)
5. Silence in the Library / Forest of the Dead (What you said. Plus we get 10 telling off the Vashta Nerada in one of the series' best "I'm The Doctor and you're screwed" moments.)
4. Blink (So well-written. Moffat shows why he deserved to succeed Davies.)
3. School Reunion (K-9 repeatedly telling Mickey "We are in a car": never fails to bring a smile to my face. And Sarah Jane is as wonderful as us long-time Whovians remember.)
2. Utopia / The Sound of Drums / Last of the Time Lords (Martha, my favorite 'New Who' companion says goodbye and breaks my heart while doing it. Bravo, Ms. Agyeman.)
1. Midnight
2. Human Nature
3. Blink (amazing but it's not much of a tenth doctor episode)
4. Impossible Planet
5. Waters Of Mars
6. Silence In The Library
7. Girl In The Fireplace
8. Utopia
9. Doomsday
10. School Reunion
1) Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead
2) Blink
3) Girl in the Fireplace
4) School Reunion
5) Fires of Pompeii
6) Stolen Earth/Journey’s End
7) Impossible Planet/Satan Pit
8) Sontaran Stratagem/Poisoned Sky
9) Voyage of the Damned
10) Partners in Crime
Because, generally, I don’t like Base under Siege stories, my love for Impossible Planet/Satan Pit just shows me how great it is. The first time The Satan character speaks, it is so creepy and effective.
In my book this is by far the hardest Doctor to make a Top 10 list for, just because of how brilliantly written and stupendously imaginative most of his episodes are. That being said, this is what I managed to come up with:
1. The Sound of Drums/Last of the Time Lords
2. Blink
3. The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit
4. Human Nature/The Family of Blood
5. Midnight
6. Daleks in Manhattan/Evolution of the Daleks
7. The Girl in the Fireplace
8. Smith and Jones
9. The End of Time
10. The Waters of Mars
Honourable mentions: Army of Ghosts/Doomsday and Turn Left
Nice list, thanks for posting. The girl in the fireplace is one not on your list that would be in my top 10.
Same, it doesn't matter how many times I watch it, I always cry
It's my single favourite episode of Doctor Who, and perhaps one of my favourite episodes of television as a whole
@@lucyk4119 I cried the first seven times I saw it and it still brings a tear to my eye
I like Tennant more than Smith honestly
I'm pretty sure 70% of dr who fans like tennant more than Smith even myself
Tennants the best in my opinion
I like them both equally tbh. Tennants emotion and Smiths character rival each other massively.
agreed
But we all know Capaldi is the best, right?
@@caleb7551 Istopped watching because of him. 9 is my favourite.
My list

7) School Reunion
8) Turn Left
9) Impossible Planet/Satan Pit
10) Fires of Pompeii
Best non TV media:
Mystery of the Haunted Cottage, Prisoner of the Daleks, Pest Control.
10: Stolen Earth / Journey’s End
9: Army of Ghosts / Doomsday

Midnight is so good and show the true master of writing Who, Russell T Davies.
Probably Robert Holmes with Steven Moffatin second IMO. Russel was pretty mediocre and really only had 2 good episodes (Utopia and Midnight). Again, IMO
Tenant is always the best one.
0:13 OH MY GOSH THAT TOTORO IS SOOO CUUUUUTE!!!!
Great Top 10 list, made me want to go back and rewatch The 10th Doctors era. Was wondering if your going to do an updated Top ten 11th Doctor Episodes video as it's been four years since you did your old Top ten 11th Doctor Episodes list video?

10. Army of Ghosts/Doomsday
I think World Enough And Time did it better, Rise Of The Cybermen/Age Of Steel is fantastic, but the Cybermen are way too robotic.
When me and my sister first watched Midnight we had to binge Too Cute from animal planet immediately after. It scared the hell out of us. It was awesome!
1) human nature/family of blood
2)Silence in the library/forest of the dead
3)Utopia (so underrated!!! )
4)Midnight
5) The girl in the fireplace
6)Fires of pompeii
7) turn left
8)The impossible planet/the satan pit
9) Gridlock
10) sontaran stratagem /poison sky (just so fun to watch, actually my most rewatched episodes)
Note: not too much of a blink fan, I love the weeping angels, the episode however is very much a monster of the week episode, which compared to moffats other two 10th doctor episodes, is a bit boring
10.voyage of the dammed
9.Smith and Jones
8.girl in the fireplace
7.stolen earth\journeys end
6.turn left
5.blink
4.waters of mars
3.human nature\family of blood
2.midnight
1.silence in the library\forest of the dead
Not my favourite Doctor (7th and 12th are my favourites) but Tennant had quite a few solid stories. And he is great actor! I like your top 10. But I've got a somewhat different list:
10: Partners in crime (nice, cute and funny)
9: The girl in the fireplace (emotional and good villains)
8: Stolen earth/Journeys end (full of heroes)
7: School reunion (a good introduction to Who)
6: Planet of the Ood (top noch music, interesting species)
5: Blink (Best new Who villains)
4: Turn left (Best family portrait of any companion)
3: Human nature/Family of blood (great story)
2: Midnight (amazing and great acting)
1: Silence in the library/Forest of the dead (heartbreaking)
My top ten:
10. Voyage of the Damned
9. Utopia/Sound of Drums/Last of the Time Lords
8. Satan pit/ Impossible planet
7. Doomsday/Army of Ghosts
6. Waters of Mars
5. Christmas Invasion
4. Stolen Earth/Journeys End
3. Human Nature/Family of Blood
2. Midnight
1. End of Time 1+2
Tennant,
Ten
I could see Midnight done as a stage play. It would be brilliant.
10 Impossible Planet /Satan Pit
9 Girl In a Fireplace
8 End of Time
7 Army of Ghosts /Doomsday
6 Silence In the Library/Forest of the Dead
5 Stolen Earth/Journeys End
4 Turn Left
3 Blink

1 Human Nature /Family of Blood
while I agreed with a lot of your list many of them no, I have my own
10 Smith and Jones
9 fires of Pompeii
8 school reunion
7 shakspeare code
6 utopia/ last of the time lords
5 unicorn and the wasp
4 blink
3 satan pit/impossible planet
2 stolen earth/journeys end
1 silence in the library/forest of the dead
I actually dont like midnight or family of blood, these for the most part are just fun romps.
Girl in the Fireplace is my number one. "Godspeed, my lonely angel." Tennant's face ... OUCH.
I'm cheating a bit, but this is hard, and I don't remember every episode. Anyway, these are my favourites :')
10.) Blink/The Unicorn and the Wasp
09.) Silence in the Library
08.) Fires of Pompeii
07.) The Runaway Bride/Partners in Crime
06.) Planet of the Ood
05.) Tooth and Claw
04.) The Shakespeare Code
03.) The Christmas Invasion
02.) Human Nature
01.) Midnight
Do I like to see the Doctor's personality be hidden away/him lose his voice/be unconscious for half an episode? (Apparently.)
This is hard for me because I loved DT so much and thought, for the most part, the writing was spot on. The only one that I really didn't like was perhaps Love and monsters ( I can't erase that from my mind.
1. The silence of the Library-- River Song's introduction. It just couldn't be better. I think Moffet told Alex who he saw River as, so she could play it. The idea came from his love for the Time Travelers wife. Also, the look on Donna's face when River doesn't know her but knows of her.
2. Blink - Doctor Who without (for the most part) the Doctor -- But still having an iconic line Wibbly Wobbly Timey Whimmy
3. Human Nature/The Family of Blood -- For the DT's performance. And for Poor Martha realizing that the Doctor will never love her in a way that she wants him to (that was crushing)
Donna, how I love you
7. The Shakespeare Code
8. The Next Doctor -- Just because of the possibilities.
9. Army of Ghosts/Doomsday - How I wept after that one. I cried and cried and cried
10 Journey's end.
When I watched blink I got chills my arms had goss bumps
10. The Stolen Earth/Journeys End
9. Planet of the Ood
8. Blink
7. Turn Left
6. The Girl in the Fireplace
5. The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit
4. Human Nature/Family of Blood
3.. Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead
2. Midnight
10 hours ago and the tenth doctor and the ten favourite vids. This is not a coincidence.
I have always been mixed on School Reunion because it feels like an episode written for the 9th Doctor that was given to the 10th Doctor
Midnight is my favorite, and it's also the episode that got me into Doctor Who. Love it!
My favorite moment being the first time the Weeping Angels face turns evil, and my niece covered her eyes, and my nephew blurts out, "No, Sammie, that's how they get you!" and she threw a pillow at him
Now both of them are Doctor Who fans, and I get to be the fun uncle who takes them to scary movies.
