I'm praying attacking is actually difficult in the game so when two equally skilled players match up, it ends like 1-0 or 0-0 not fking 5-4. Makes scoring that much more satisfying man.
now instead of just stats and playstyle pluses you now have to have the newest players to get proper AI from them, they're surely adding + and ++ over time to promo releases so if you want a fluid game better get lucky or spend lol

@@RanielEber My point is that now tactics being reliant on the players you have and whether they have said +,++ roles adds more complications into the gameplay that everyone seems to agree is no where near perfect and feels horrible at times. I agree the fanbase is whiny, just watch this video you'll see people complaining about the slipping in non comp modes without reading first, or defensive AI improvement VS cutbacks but everyone reacts to it negatively like they weren't crying about it all this year to be "fixed" lol. I just don't trust EA to add this +,++ mechanic in a non money hungry way, finding out the meta through its players then spamming them in new promos, later nerfing it rinse repeat. I liked the promos this year but they need to balance it out so there isnt so much discard value releases.

Its all about animations. They impact the game either positively or negatively
Core mechanics aren't really improved. As long as these don't improve it'll always feel the same despite these changes
Their roles system doesn't look any different than how players move currently in game. They are positioned the same as the formation in the video compared to FC24 but instead EA put a circle and name to a role for the player... They are doing the same animations/a.i. decision making as FC24 compared to the videos shown.
What? Attacking full backs push higher up the pitch, you can have inverted fullbacks go into midfield or into CB. It’s a good addition

But my point is the video shown by EA looks like they circled players stating they had "roles" applied but are in locations that A.i. Would go to currently in FC 24. If it works as they say they are looking to make it then great... But with EA's track record I highly doubt they work as they say it does.

For me realism is fun. That's why i don't play this trash arcady game much. I prefer eFootball that feels more realistic to play. But some of these additions like more difficult passing and more realistic player movement sound promising and i'll maybe get it when it's on sale.

@G-Denz EA and simple commands don't work. Have you played Fifa or ea fc? Tackles just rebounds and that's only a 1 button command. Almost everything in the game is completely broken. All ea do is put more stuff in because they don't understand how to fix the broken mechanics.
They could have added new playstyles+ like for example: Powerful volley, Curved pass and many more. Thats some original playstyles to add.
After a month they will drop updates and it will be just like fc24😂

1:02 was already in the game you can change formations by setting it in team management and press ⬅️or ➡️ to change your style to defensive offensive or normal, the name doesn’t matter because you can put any formation
21:14 ..it's called "sole controll "trait you attach it to the player and he it just improves his first touch like crazy ... especially on the turns and direction changes the striker literally wastes no second putting the ball on his stride to line up a shot ..too overpowered too hard to stop players with that trait 😂

Nick idk if you will see this but the passing and shooting are both nerfs. It will be even harder to score easy goals now unless players have crazy ratings and it looks like they have increased the level of ai defenders and nerfed passing under pressure which means now pressing will be even more op. And with them showing the passing nerf it will be even harder to break down defenses

I think professional fouls should have a multiplier system where a couple of fouls each half gets you yellows but when you start abusing it, you get a straight red everytime regardless of the position on the pitch where it happened

There are many types of CM. Some are playmakers, some are box to box. Some act more like wingers.

Tying the role to the player and not to the position is great. We saw pro players using Joselu Showdown Plus as a RB in FC 24 and since the role is tied to the position, Joselu just followed all the RB instructions normally. But in FC 25 Joselu or any other Striker will have Striker roles, so if you put them in other positions, they will probably move to the attack because this his their role, or the role will be deactivated and they will be passive and bad for the team.
9:00 I'm hyped, it looks like I'll be able to play like Xabi Alonso's Leverkusen or Diniz's Fluminense, it was impossible to do in FC 24. Maybe it still impossible to replicate 100%, but we can do stuff that is similar.

Pes had flexible formation since a long time ago. And has far more tactical depthness. It will be interesting how much it will have impact in real life. We know our great scripting will ensure no matter what tactics sometimes it wont matter anyway.
The flexible formation was there on FC on Career Mode and Kick off….these player roles are reskinned locked player instructions

I hope they will separate manager chemistry from the manager you choose, and just let you choose one additional point of chemistry from a nation list and one chemistry point for a league list.
This would alleviate the issue of not having certain countries without managers in game at all, or hard to get, and allow me to say, play players from rarer countries and leagues with a couple chemistry points to boost.
You gon tell me they can add 19k animations with 10k plus equipment, invite players to capture sensors and motion for mouvement, but they can't even make it so if someone leave he gets a loss 😂😂😂

Professional fouls already exist, you can slide tackle , tug shirt. the problem is that it you cant 100% stop the play like they can in real life. a button for fouling is fine, you know the risk

My main gripe with the game is they’ve tried to make it too perfect. You can read someone’s passing 4 moves ahead of them and still not be able to stop it. Deflections and bounce backs just conveniently staying in play or absolutely smashing a ball just to be intercepted and first touch controlled perfectly on a chest or foot. Keepers doing everything in there power to allow pea rollers to go for corners. The list can continue- it just needs more realism.
honestly it's becoming too much with all the tactical stuff - people with full time jobs that wanna come home and play a few games at night I don't think can be bothered with having to constantly be up to date with what the best tactical +++ set-ups are
