+Puggy 117 I do consider it one of the best scenes in the whole saga. The music in combination with the fotography of the opening shot is just mesmerising!
+Puggy 117 That moment in Revenge of the Sith when the clones (my favourite characters, too bad they went bad x)) execute order 66. I'm always on the edge of my seat.
+Ali Mehdi it is certainly the best prequel if it wasn't for the fact that it had the padma and anakin love scenes it would be on par with the orginals
I don't think the "Psychic Senator" was a mistake. She knew who they chasing and that in order for Dooku to leave he would need a ship. Ships are often stored in hangars, right? She also thought it would be a good idea to call for support for Obi-wan and Anakin because why not? Better safe than sorry. She was a bit presumptuous when she said "that" hangar but she certainly wouldn't have needed to be psychic to know where they were going and that they may need assistance.
Benjamin Ahern It was a joke but the fact that he put it in all caps mad me think that it was a joke I since deleted the comment and Im sorry for making the rude comment
hes talking about inside the ship, even if it was in free fall the people inside would not have any gravity as they would also be in free fall. If the did have gravity it would still be in the same direction as thats what the ship does
How to be a "true" Star Wars fan: Step 1: Hate the man who fucking created it Step 2: Hate all the prequels and deny their existence Step 3: Only like The Empire Strikes Back
Whats so good in the Empire Strikes Back? The only valuable scene was the beginning the fight scene with the AT-AT , for the rest it was boring surely the teaching scene from Luke Skywalker and old Yoda it was way too long i sleep always . To me the best Star Wars movies is A New Hope and The Return of the Jedi . Prequels weren't good but weren't bad either i only hate the last scene from Revenge of the Sith , Darth Vader saying "Nooooooooo" was stupid/hilarious and ruined the complete episode . The Clones had a too long love story and Phantom Menace the Race Pod scene was stupid and too long + many cheap CGI effects . People did 1000% better before by doing practical effects still 2 science fiction movies from the Seventies will never being beated are Star Wars a New Hope and Alien the 8th Passenger . I'm affraid that the CGI will suck too in Star Wars VII The Force Awakens + i really hope that Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher will have long roles ( hope they aren't only there as cameos for just 30seconds and done ) would be disapointing and also i hope they will not put feminism and politicaly correctness in that episode ( affraid they already did with the Trailer the first scene shown us a "Black Guy" ) guess the movie will be 5 out of 10 good .
+defiraphi It's called story and lore. It's that thing that makes RPGs a successful game genre. Look it up. Given your disdain for it, I'm surprised you don't like the prequels better. And stop being a racist and sexist idiot. If you don't like Finn the Black Stormtrooper and Rey the New Luke Skywalker, you can invite yourself out of the fandom. We don't need people like that here.
+PickyHat see you are butthurt is all i'm tired of people like you that only focus on some words but never can hold a debate . And a movie isn't made for games purpose sorry, it is why i lost interest with the James Bond franchise too, because they want too make the movies look like a stupid video game to make people like you moan about like little kids . Sorry but James Bond should have stopped since before Goldeneye was made . Nothing is accurate anymore and the Bond movies with Daniel Craig is plain simple a reboot this i know since long . They made it way too early . And yes a "Black stormtrooper wasn't needed at all" and a silly new Luke Skywalker actor without charism either , see what they did with the prequels Hayden Christensen a cool actor for the role of Anakin yeah right ... They ruined it all . There's no story or lore since it is a Space Opera to watch it with some degrees , i hate nowadays they need to put politicaly corectness and feminism in every movie and even to censor some stuff ( smoking, drinking, whatsoever...) boring America at its finest ...-_-
+The Ranger33 They introduced General Grievous. You know, that guy who was only beaten by Obi Wan finding a gun? You know, the guy who kills jedi and steals their weapons? You know, that guy who has an arm for each lightsaber. You know, the most badass guy in the entire series? That guy?
+Zanuka Project General "Always running away from everything" Grievous. Who can't even tie the lightsabers he got from the jedi he killed into his cloak so that any jedi can just pull them off from him with force. One of the most useless characters in prequels imo. "4 lightsabers, coool!!"

I liked the prequel star wars just like any Star Wars. Also Padme doesn't need to be a Jedi to know that if they were chasing Dooku to his hangar then obviously there be a fight.
Personally I don't mind the prequels, yes there's a lot of problems with them, but on a whole they don't do bad in some aspects, most people who say they are the worst movies ever made have either watched them once and took everyone else's opinions, or comparing them to the originals, which in fairness had problems as well, but they forget about that.
Please make me understand i loved the prequels why does everyone hate them the dialogue was a bit short but they made so much more meaning to the originals I would honestly think meh of the newer ones if it wasn't for the prequels
+Emily Zamora Understand why people hate them? It's a popular opinion, one which people follow blindly. Yeah there's problems with them, the CGI overuse for one example, but the originals had problems as well, they just ignore those, either due to ignorance or just ignoring them completely.
+Aaron Brookes A thing is that the Originals had some mistakes. But the reason most people hate the prequels is that they are made for kids. Or at least feel like it. The originals were far more mature. And thats the reason some people didnt want Disney to make new Movies. Because of that the overused CGI and other problems only make it worse.
+Aaron Brookes But you see, most of the mistakes in the Originals were due to the time period it was made in and the effects they were trying to accomplish. The prequels ended having more obvious and even more mistakes than the originals did. Also, I grew up with the prequels and while I still love them as movies they are bad movies. The acting, the direction, the script, and the plot are all very mediocre.
+Aaron Brookes I quite enjoyed the prequels, Sure it had its flaws but so did the originals. (although now they've been remastered its hard to find any on the new disks).
I fail to understand the whole hatred for the Star Wars prequels. In my opinion, I didn't like the original series too much. But I absolutely loved the prequels. Both obviously had flaws in many ways, but the prequels in my opinion held much more action intensive choreography, and explained the originals perfectly. The prequels in my opinion were the best Star Wars films period.
+eu eu Just because it's Star Wars that doesn't mean you have to love everything no matter what. I love the Star Wars franchise more than any other, but I acknowledge that the prequels are weak films and that Episode II and III don't even feel like Star Wars...to me anyway.
well the only problem in the force awakens was that BB8 was important and they were like PROTECT HIM but they still left him behind easy to shoot at ... ugh I can't
Nope. Just go on the comment section of any video with even the slightest bit of relevance to Star Wars. You'll find hundreds of "edgy" teens or people who watched the prequels before the originals. They don't do what you do, though. They goes as far as saying they're better than the Originals.
+Vector Productions I like them, I grew up with them, Episode 1 was released when i was 9, so i diden't notice all the things people complain about, thus it was a good movie imo, same for 2 and 3, I can't even believe people notice these things while watching the movies.. do they like pause it and put it on slow-mo just to spot these mistakes?
Usually happens with any prequal or sequel. Can't live up to the greatness of the original. Good movies a lone but not compared. I personally love 1 and 3 but I hate 2.
L Jj yeah because we people Are sinners and satan is god over this world every day is rape kill destroy and all sin that people Are doing fail people need jesus of you wanna meet jesus then you need to call him but pray that you want to meet him it isnt difficult
+Darth Goob Sorry for saying good things about movies you probably watched and thought were good, then saw other people hated them and pretended you did too
Nope, they are garbage films, and if you think otherwise, you're an idiot. The Prequels are not only terrible Star Wars films, they are just plain awful films, lazy directing, bad acting, shit script, cgi sets instead of real ones, no practical effects only fake cartoon crap, boring characters with nothing interesting about them at all. Seriously, I could go on. Stop being edgy and contrarian for the sake of being edgy and contrarian, those films are shit, and you're shit if you think otherwise.
FACT: Each prequel film alone contains more practical effects than the entire original series put together.. Just because there is also a lot of CGI people get so but hurt.. George was pushing the industry forward using new techniques in film. 90% of the CGI in the PT stands up against today's in my opinion.
+ibanezman04 Then you are lost. Seriously, so much of the CGI in the prequels looks so unrealistic. Look at all the aliens like jar jar, 2-headed pod-racing announcer, dex, the aliens on geionosis. They all look terrible. And you're wrong. While there may be more miniatures used in the prequels than the entire original trilogy, the original trilogy still uses more practical effects overrall
Again. What I have said is based in fact. Having extensively watched the making of the PT, the interviews with the crew confirm what I said, that the PT uses more practical effects than the OT. The CGI in the prequels looks dated in places, yes of course it would EP.1 was 1999 but on the most part given its balance of CGI and practical effects its still stands up to todays films. CGI aliens have always been the most difficult thing to create with cgi, but in my opinion they still look decent, not enough to make me hate the films. Just like I don't hate the OT even though most of their FX have dated. Why? Because I'm not an imbecile.
Wrong. If the stormtrooper hit his head in Episode 4 that was because of Jango Fett. As he was chosen to be cloned because he has his advanced reflexes and advaced stamina. His head hit the wall because he was focusing on further stuff. that happened to Captain Rex aswell
Seanerzat By ''Wrong" I say that this is not a mistake and it was more of an easter egg. Also by the time of the New Hope. Most stormtroopers were Jango Fett Clones. they stopped cloning htem by this time. by the time of return of the jedi. The empire composes as 50% Clones and 50% birth born humans... as they were getting old most of them
There were clones in the Empire. But not a whole lot. Only the 501 Legion, also known as Vader's Fist was a full platoon of clones. Also if you played the awesome Star Wars: Battlefront 2, it says this.
It pisses me off how people consider themselves "true" star wars fans just because they bash every single movie except one. Yeah, Phantom menace really wasn't that great but jesus fucking christ, if you were a true fan you'd just shut up and watch the movies, jeez.
+Ash Yeah seems dumb to me. I would consider my self a "true" Star Wars fan because I like all 7 movies. I like some more than others but I still like them all. I don't know how you could be a true fan when you HATE nearly half the movies.
+Devil's Advocate for its time, the CGI on Jar Jar was amazing. But everything else was still a little bit weird. I like the prequels, but I will forever wonder what they thought about when creating that character.
Stryke you do realise that I was playing on the two meanings of execution? when I said "an execution wouldn't be so bad", I was suggesting that Jar Jar should have his head roll.
+ColdSteelGames - Adam McLoughlin Actually, if the actual, real-world timeline is taken into account: Mistake 1: the planning and inception of the ewoks.
+Kirk Meyers The Phantom Menace is my favorite of the prequel trilogy because it's the only prequel that feels somewhat like a Star Wars film. I still have a lot of problems with it, though. If it's your favorite Star Wars film as a whole, though, then more power to you.
+Michael McGrath Just because he likes it doesn't mean you have to. That said, I like the prequels and the force awakens though nothing is better than the original trilogy but still I like them all all 7
I don't care if the prequels aren't liked, I still think the Fetts and the Clones are fucking badass compared to their older yet newer counterpart storm troopers.
+Sarude Danstorm I think the clones are awesome, but they were made awesome by The Clone Wars series, not the prequels. They're barely in the prequels and they look painfully fake in the films.
twmcgraw303 Not for me, I was obsessed with them as Episode 3 came out, I actually preferred them over the ones in the beginning of the clone wares series since they appeared less exaggerated and more realistic.
here's one mistake that Screen Rants missed: In episode I when R2-D2 was taken to the Queen to be thanked, the Queen calls one of her handmaidens "Padme". But isn't the Queen suppsoed to be Padme? The queen in that scene was a decoy and Padme was the Queen pretending to be handmaiden but why would the Queen call her handmaiden Padme when Padme is the Queen?
I'm so tired of Screen Rant hating on the prequels! Sure, Episode I was a bomb. But Episode II had it's moments and Episode III was just absolutely stunning!
+Seth Brookes I agree, that opening shot of Revenge of the Sith was fantastic. But then the characters opened their mouths and that kind of soured the moment for me.
I love all 6 movies.. But Kotors 1 and 2 (with restored content mod) is better than all 6 movies. Even if the prequels don't exist, Kotor is still better than the original trilogy.. I sense butthurt.
+Kyle Phantom I was just telling some people that the other day lol. Totally agree with you, especially when it comes to KotOR 1! Still waiting for a KotOR 3 (not that shitty mmo game).
The prequels were actually very good at least as good as the originals I mean seriously guys the originals weren't THAT great. I think that all of them are awesome, Attack of the clones is my favourite. I know that none of the Star Wars saga movies were perfect but they are all very enjoyable to watch. Qui Gon Jinn is my favourite character I don't think I'd like Star Wars without him in it. And if you guys think Hayden Christensen is a bad actor look at everyone in the force awakens.
+YangBalanceYin I still think the sword fighting in the originals (with the exception of A New Hope) was better. The fighting in the prequels felt too rehearsed and it was painfully pathetic at times like the duel at the end of Attack of the Clones and the Mace vs. Sidious duel whereas the fights in Empire and Jedi feel real and raw and they have emotional weight behind them.
+YangBalanceYin Though i do like the prequels, my biggest issue with them were their lightsaber duels, with the exception of those from episode 3. The reason lightsaber duels are so great is because you feel a struggle between the two or three characters that are fighting, and each are trying there best to let the other join to see what they believe. In ep 1, the fight was rushed and misplaced, as the previous 7 minutes were focusing on taking down Nute Gunray and reclaiming Theed. You are so focused on the characters succeeding in that goal, that by the time Darth Maul shows up, it just feels like they needed a fight so they just had it. This applies to the other duels in Ep 2 as well.
+YangBalanceYin hardly. the lightsaber battles in the prequels were horrible. Nothing but badly choreographed dancing with lights sword swings. the original fights were slower, but each sword swing was harder and more life like
+Michael McGrath While I agree with your sentiments about the prequel sword fights being painfully choreographed like a Britney Spears showdance, and I agree the sword fights in the original are more enjoyable, let's not pretend they're really anymore "realistic." The silly spins Alex Guinness (Obi-Wan) does in a New Hope? Lightsabers aren't realistic weapons, so having "realistic" fights is objectively impossible.
+twmcgraw303 Luke vs Vader Episode VI was pretty bad when luke went nuts. It was completely rehearsed and some of Luke's movements made absolutely NO SENSE. "here let me put my sword up in the air not even near you so you can aim for my lightsaber to connect it so that it makes an epic clash YEA!!" lol fanboys
The artificial gravity one makes sense though. If it was turned off then they would start falling towards the planet they're just above which is what they do in the movie
Pretty cool, but I do have to say that the gravity problem you mentioned is caused by the planets gravity as the ship changes its position. The artificial gravity is no longer counterbalances the planets so they are victim to how the ship is turned.
You know people really like the sword fighting in any of the Star Wars films and as a sword guy I'm just here like "WHAT THE FUCK ARE THEY DOING THEY WOULD BE SO DEAD"
+Heath Dan first of all, jedi are supposed to be extremely skilled fighters, augmented even further by the use of the force, secondly the blade of the lightsaber is almost weightless, so to compare it with traditional swordplay would be silly.
google.com/starwars choose your side. Login to youtube with the account u use to choose your side then there will be some pretty cool changes starwars related
+8un3zz Check the volume slide on a UA-cam video. It makes a lightsaber noise. When you open up your Gmail, instead of the normal loading bar its a lightsaber. -The TFA images aren't the only things-
The only reason it seems like people hate these movies is because the people that hate it are way more vocal about it than those of us that love it. I bet there are way more people that loves these movies than hate them. They're great movies.
I think that episode III was pretty good (minus Haden Christianson) I thought that episode II had potential ( Minus all the CGI and Haden Christianson and Natalie Portman) I thought that Episode I was complete and utter shit ( except for Darth Maul he was pretty bad ass)
+Sawyer Skog His name isn't Christianson. And Darth Maul was trash. No character development, no backstory, no nothing. He isn't even a character. He is just a red and black guy with horns who dies. We know nothing of his motivations, where he comes from, etc. "At last we will have revenge." Revenge for WHAT? There is literally nothing interesting about Darth Maul.
+The Iguana Episode 1: Garbage. Nearly unwatchable. Darth Maul is not a character. He is a shell and he sucks. We don't even know who he is or what he wants. Pod race was cool, except for the retarded, two-headed cartoon character, and the diamond-headed cartoon character (QUADrenaro. Get it? SMH). Episode 2: Worse than Episode 1. CGI puke-fest. Episode 3: The strongest of the 3 films, with some decent scenes, but overall not a great film.
+Sawyer Skog To be fair Hayden Christensen played Anakin almost exactly how Anakin should be... He's supposed to be this awkward kid who can't be with the women he loves (padme), who has to deal with the loss of his mother who died 10 years after the events of Episode 1 ( the last time he saw her he was 9), and he feels like his master his keeping him from reaching his full potential... Also he was a slave from birth until he was 9... all in all Anakin is a pretty screwed up person and he has a hard time showing emotion, or even forming a romantic relationship since he's never seen one. You can't blame Hayden for playing his character the way that he would be... an awkward, scared, angry kid... but that's just my opinion.... everyone has their own
Everyone hates Jar Jar.. Guys he's the effing connection between the fucking Prequels and hte Sequels... if he wasn't there then the entire effing Prequel Trilogy would make almost ZERO connection...
Jar Jar is the reason the clones even got sent to war... he had the deciding vote on which to give Palp emergency powers or not... meaning he basically opened the door for the Empire to come in.
More: 1) In Episode I, When Anakin attaches something to C-3P0's eyes, he lifts something with one hand but in the next shot, he is using his other hand. 2) Also in Episode I, when Panaka tells Qui-Gon to take Padme along, the distance of the shot of the jet on the background changes. It appears much closer in some shots. 3) Palpatine was holding onto Anakin's legs when in elevator shaft but let go when they dropped. He was holding on again when they swung into doorframe. 4) Anakin didn't know Padme was pregnant until she told him. He had just hugged her, he should have noticed something. 5) Obi-Wan refers to Palpatine as the Emperor.
there's also a brief outtake left in Episode 2 when Obi-Wan and Anakin are chasing the shapeshifter. when she shoots the electrical pylons causing Anakin and Obi-Wan to fly through them getting electrocuted, Obi-Wan immediately looks at Anakin and says something like "that went well." while they both laugh.
There's one moment in Episode 3 when Anakin and Obi-Wan fight, when they're inside the mustafar command center, there's a moment when Anakin and Obi-Wan use the force push on each other simultaneously, and just after they fly away, Anakin does a crazy jump to Obi-wan, but Obi-Wan evades the jump and instead of chopping Anakins head off, he just hits anakins lightsaber for no reason at all. That moment always makes me rage after every time I rewatch the prequels, a major obvious flaw in a otherwise awesome combat scene.
In case these have been missed in Episode I: 1. At 0.44.22 in a Tatooine scene on the Blu-ray I rented, a land speeder's front end, meant to be in the background, covers a squatting man (dressed in yellow) just before Qui-Gon's body hides him as the small group walk toward camera. I guess Mr. Lucas had his team working too hard painting out 3P0's puppeteer (the sand had to show thru all his internal wires) to actually finish every visual effect. 2. At 2.01.13, in a palace scene, Padme's foot slips on the slick floor as she begins to walk.
*Thank you* so much for saying that Star Wars is fantasy and not Science Fiction. I have so many people argue with me when I say it's Fantasy in space, not sci-fi. The only time I remember any science is brought in is Han explaining Hyperspace jumps to Luke. I let the power cord slide. I thought it was a crack in the step!
There *was* one you missed; when Anakin was Force - choking Obi-Wan on Mustafar, in one shot, Obi-Wan is holding his lightsaber, next shot, Anakin's lightsaber, and so forth, until Obi-Wan kicks Anakin in the gut.
Ewan McGreggor, Samuel L. Jackson, and Christopher Lee were the only redeeming factors in the prequels. Oh and the fact that the lightsaber fights were actually fun to watch.
I already thought about that gravity thing. However, one could argue that the planet below was close enough for it's gravity to effect the characters on the ship. Especially as the ship began to fall.
I thought that opening space battle in 'Revenge of the Sith' was amazing.
+Stryke Though I'd argue the opening shot is not good photography because the whole scene was made in a computer.
Michael Edwards Oh yeh lets make a space battle with huge cruisers firing at each other in real life. Nearly every film to do with space uses CGI.
Except the first Star Wars which primarily used models?
I actually thought that Revenge Of The Sith was amazing....
I actually preferred it over a new hope tbh
staffyman11 Thank god I'm not alone.
Yeah me too!
Then you need to see it again
+Ali Mehdi it is certainly the best prequel if it wasn't for the fact that it had the padma and anakin love scenes it would be on par with the orginals
I don't think the "Psychic Senator" was a mistake.

1:45 No, that's not Samuel L. Jackson's double. That's Lawrence Fishburne.
I get this joke haha
Lol I don't understand how people think they look alike
Lol
+FanfareT.Loudest He's in the new one too, just watch the trailer.
+FanfareT.Loudest Zoe Washburne is married to Lawrence Fishburne. Funny.
i love the prequels. most of you only hate them because you've hear other people say they hate them
I ACTULLY THINK THE PREQUELS WERE REALLY GOOD AND WISH THEY DIDN'T GET SO MUCH HATE
I am sorry for rude commenting
+John Austin and, judging by your immature comment, you're about 11.
Benjamin Ahern It was a joke but the fact that he put it in all caps mad me think that it was a joke I since deleted the comment and Im sorry for making the rude comment
thank you!
I liked the prequels too. Also because you get to see the lightsabers go through people.
So you're saying that every black jedi is mace windu?
LOOOOOOOL
Screen rant is racist confirmed
Garrett - sam Jackson wont travel that far for celebration lmao
No, he is not! That was evidently Samuel Jackson's double
Nick Ito he is the only black council member so its acceptable to say that
The battle in 'Revenge of the Sith' was in the upper atmosphere of the planet, which explains the ship free falling.
+Harry BuddhaPalm ^
hes talking about inside the ship, even if it was in free fall the people inside would not have any gravity as they would also be in free fall. If the did have gravity it would still be in the same direction as thats what the ship does
yeah I was gonna say that
+Harry BuddhaPalm No way, they are clearly in space as you can see the curvature of the planet. You can't see that from the upper atmosphere.
Michael Olivares
They said in the commentary track that it's meant to be in the upper atmosphere of the planet, so, yes way.
Do these even matter? Say what you will about the prequels but I myself enjoyed them.
Stop stealing my lines.
+Nerd Central who "stole your lines"? I simply stated my opinion. if you don't want me to agree with you, your just an idiot.
I CAME HERE FOR AN ARGUMENT AND YOU RUINED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Red Five really? Your so petty and lifeless that you don't want conflict to be avoided for the benefit of your entertainment?

I don't hate the prequels that much compared to most people. They introduced some of my favourite characters like Mace, Darth Maul, and Jango Jett.
+The Ranger33 They introduced General Grievous. You know, that guy who was only beaten by Obi Wan finding a gun? You know, the guy who kills jedi and steals their weapons? You know, that guy who has an arm for each lightsaber. You know, the most badass guy in the entire series? That guy?

+The Ranger33 pretty sure it wasn't jango jett
+epicfeint163 lol yeah I prefer his cousin Jango Fett.
a lot of people like the prequels. this guy is just really picky about the stupid things nobody notices. I'm with ya buddy
How is the power cord a mistake? What if the trend on Naboo is dresses with their energy supplied by extension cords?
What if it's not even a power-chord in the sense that we think of them?!
What if the dress powers the whole city??

+Patrick Fox Since Disney bought LucasFilm, they own all of the movies. 20th Century Fox doesn't hold the rights to the films anymore.
+Derek Curtis yes they do, until 2020
***** Not since Disney purchased LucasFilm. They own all of the rights to the franchise.
+Derek Curtis No, at least they do not have the rights to broadcast Episode IV
+Derek Curtis
They own the Star Wars Universe, not the movies until May 2020 when the rights revert back to LucasFilm AKA Disney
www.slashfilm.com/20th-century-fox-still-owns-rights-to-first-six-star-wars-films-making-original-box-set-difficult/
I actually kind of liked the prequel
I liked the prequel star wars just like any Star Wars. Also Padme doesn't need to be a Jedi to know that if they were chasing Dooku to his hangar then obviously there be a fight.
Biggest mistake: jar jar binks
Youssa right!
+Screen Rant Youssa wrong. An annoying side character is the least of their problems.
Yousa wrong. Jarjara isa epica boya
+We Play Games YEAH! #Gunganlivesmatter
+MrKnexpert20 JAR JAR IS A TRAINED FORCE USER.
all the movies are good to me
agreed but there were bad parts yes? mainly continuity. and the ideas that were great but werent used enough
Lots of bad parts pretty bad acting I just love Star Wars so I dealt with it
yeah but they have some amazing designs and concepts
+Connor Bovingdon expecially the opening scene of part 3 that was probably the best in the entire series
agreed. and maul, dooku, and grevious were all amazing charecters just a bit shallow in the films.
You don't have to be a Jedi to know where Dooku was heading.
Two mistakes we didn't miss.
Episode 1 and 2
and3
+FreakieFan let's be real, 3 wasnt that bad
+Alucard watch the film through again, and tell me you weren't bored to death
+fdsdh1 the first episode is the only one i find boring and annoying, and i think the third was the "best" of the prequels
+FreakieFan 3 was only good because little orphan Annie got his buns toasted in the end and stopped being a little bitch
The one with magma. Good job spotting it!
If J.J Abrams fails he shall be referred to as Jar Jar Abrams
this aged well
The body double of Padme is played by Kiera Knightly in Episode 1. Still blows my mind
Cumlord People have to much Nastalgia for the original trilogy.
Amen! I 👍
I loved the prequels, I've seen "Revenge of the Sith" hundreds of times, just like original series, because it's Star Wars
+eu eu Just because it's Star Wars that doesn't mean you have to love everything no matter what. I love the Star Wars franchise more than any other, but I acknowledge that the prequels are weak films and that Episode II and III don't even feel like Star Wars...to me anyway.
Mistake in your video: Disney did not produce the earlier films. They are only producing the new movies.
they still have to credit Disney as the durrent owners
to avoid trouble I guess
+Caridad Chang yeah disney now owns all so probably because of copyright and stuff
+ShamanGrayson I'm not sure where in the video you think he said that Disney produced the films. I watched the video and heard nothing of the sort.
+뿡뿡! ^__^ look at the captions it says disney/locations, so before you just say you watched it try paying more attention
+Caridad Chang No 20th Century Fox owns them until 2020
In the prequels, Jar Jar's race are called Gungans. In the original trilogy, Han Solo refers to them as Gangars
In Fantom Menac Obi Won's plait changes from right to left then back to right
han is probably just disrespecting them i think
well the only problem in the force awakens was that BB8 was important and they were like PROTECT HIM
but they still left him behind easy to shoot at
... ugh I can't
+Lennon Henaff its not actually a spoiler per se
I know. All the time i was like carry him or something hes behindddddddd
ÇılgıncaBirŞeyler it made me cringe so hard lol and he had like this i dont give a fuck aura while running
Am I the only one who doesn't hate the prequels?
Nope. Just go on the comment section of any video with even the slightest bit of relevance to Star Wars. You'll find hundreds of "edgy" teens or people who watched the prequels before the originals. They don't do what you do, though. They goes as far as saying they're better than the Originals.
+Brock Harrington I watched the prequels before the originals but the original trilogy is waaaay better
+Vector Productions Nah. I don't hate them at all, I view them as just sort of' "'eh"'
Prequel haters are so annoying
i liked all 6 movies of star wars and sort of the Force awakens
L Jj yeah because we people Are sinners and satan is god over this world every day is rape kill destroy and all sin that people Are doing fail people need jesus of you wanna meet jesus then you need to call him but pray that you want to meet him it isnt difficult
Smart Amez I’m an atheist...
Ikr
@@hejhej8091 ok edgy
Mistake 11: They exist
Mistake 12: Jar Jar Binks exists.
+L0RDOFCATS Ha ha ? funny ? Fuck off rat
I knew someone would say that. lol
this is about the mistakes you missed
Daniel Castañeda Yeah, to be fair, im glad they exist, i'm not mad at them, i'm just disappointed. (Just like your mother feels about you :D)
the prequels aren't THAT bad...
Ikr everyone makes out they are terrible, but I don't see how they're so bad either
You're right, was good to see what happened!
Watch the Mr. Plinkett reviews and educate yourselves.
Prequel strengths: effects
Original strengths: story
Stop complaining. The prequels aren't that bad. It shows an important part of the saga.
I don't mind CGI.. I do mind too MUCH CGI.. And George used way too much.
And the Force Awakens had more CGI than the prequels. It's not about how much CGI you use, its how you use it.
Red Five No it didn't.. but it did have a lot of CGI.. But I agree it is how its used as you say.
I love these trivia videos! Nice work!
Wrong. If the stormtrooper hit his head in Episode 4 that was because of Jango Fett. As he was chosen to be cloned because he has his advanced reflexes and advaced stamina. His head hit the wall because he was focusing on further stuff. that happened to Captain Rex aswell
Not sure what you're saying "wrong" to, but whatever the case, by Episode 4 a lot, if not most of the Stormtroopers were recruited non-clones.
Seanerzat By ''Wrong" I say that this is not a mistake and it was more of an easter egg. Also by the time of the New Hope. Most stormtroopers were Jango Fett Clones. they stopped cloning htem by this time. by the time of return of the jedi. The empire composes as 50% Clones and 50% birth born humans... as they were getting old most of them
No you're wrong there where no clones in episode 4
Adam FYI theres clones everywhere in episode 4 in stormtrooper armour.
There were clones in the Empire. But not a whole lot. Only the 501 Legion, also known as Vader's Fist was a full platoon of clones. Also if you played the awesome Star Wars: Battlefront 2, it says this.
2 of my top 3 fav Star Wars movies are in the prequels. I personally love them
Great. Now I can't unsee these when watching the movies.
It pisses me off how people consider themselves "true" star wars fans just because they bash every single movie except one. Yeah, Phantom menace really wasn't that great but jesus fucking christ, if you were a true fan you'd just shut up and watch the movies, jeez.
They bitch about starwars because it isnt the way they want it and they're going by someone elses opinion.
+Ash Yeah seems dumb to me. I would consider my self a "true" Star Wars fan because I like all 7 movies. I like some more than others but I still like them all. I don't know how you could be a true fan when you HATE nearly half the movies.
+Ryan Marks You've got to give him some credit for being a child at the time.
Star Wars never really goes for the famous "top actors" though, it gives newbies a chance and I really like that
I totally agree with you! Although I still love the phantom menace! But still I love all the movies
Mistake 1: The planning, inception and execution of the character Jar Jar Binks...
+ColdSteelGames - Adam McLoughlin an execution wouldn't be so bad...
Devil's Advocate I did actually not realise that.
+ColdSteelGames - Adam McLoughlin Actually, if the actual, real-world timeline is taken into account: Mistake 1: the planning and inception of the ewoks.
I liked the prequels
Amazing Lightsaber fighting and Young Obi Wan?
Emperor of Mankind me too
Joshua The master of squids Jar Jar was the best! no joke, plus he is the most powerful sith in the galaxy so no need to hate!
I like the prequels as well! Don't understand the hate
Phantom Menace, favorite Star Wars, I'm sorry, I have to admit it's true . . . I'm so glad I can say that in this safe place on the internet.
+Kirk Meyers The Phantom Menace is my favorite of the prequel trilogy because it's the only prequel that feels somewhat like a Star Wars film. I still have a lot of problems with it, though. If it's your favorite Star Wars film as a whole, though, then more power to you.
I agree
+Kirk Meyers there is seriously something wrong with you
"Whatever it is, it is no little thing."
#1 The prequels existence followed by Jar jar binks
You missed the biggest mistake of all time
Jar jar binks
ohhhhhhhhh!!!!!!
I didn’t mind jar jar
Tom
Jar Jar Binks is no longer a bad character
ROSE TICO IS...
I LOVE the prequels ♥
"The droid, where is it?!"
"I can feel the Force!"
like if you`re already watch the Star Wars VII
here's one mistake that Screen Rants missed:
In episode I when R2-D2 was taken to the Queen to be thanked, the Queen calls one of her handmaidens "Padme". But isn't the Queen suppsoed to be Padme?
The queen in that scene was a decoy and Padme was the Queen pretending to be handmaiden but why would the Queen call her handmaiden Padme when Padme is the Queen?
Yeah, nothing beats the 4th and 5th episodes. I thought these, "prequels," left a lot to be desired, and NOW MY FEELINGS ARE CONFIRMED.
I'm so tired of Screen Rant hating on the prequels! Sure, Episode I was a bomb. But Episode II had it's moments and Episode III was just absolutely stunning!
I'll admit the begging to episode 3 was beutiful like really good and was enjoyable
pls don't sue meh
+Seth Brookes I agree, that opening shot of Revenge of the Sith was fantastic. But then the characters opened their mouths and that kind of soured the moment for me.
+twmcgraw303 I remember the dialogue in that movie being cheesy as fuck.
+Seth Brookes how? it was just a big lazy green screen with unconvicing cgi
I love all 6 movies.. But Kotors 1 and 2 (with restored content mod) is better than all 6 movies. Even if the prequels don't exist, Kotor is still better than the original trilogy.. I sense butthurt.
+Kyle Phantom Lol
wat
+Kyle Phantom KotOR rules
+Kyle Phantom I was just telling some people that the other day lol. Totally agree with you, especially when it comes to KotOR 1! Still waiting for a KotOR 3 (not that shitty mmo game).
+Kyle Phantom KotOR is the actual reason why star wars is so awesome :D
I love the queens outfits and padme's outfits too
The prequels were actually very good at least as good as the originals I mean seriously guys the originals weren't THAT great.
These movies werent that bad ... And the action was MUCH approved upon, sword fighting alone being a huge plus.
Tbh, if anyone still complains about the prequels being bad after the sequel trilogy, they clearly never watched either trilogy
Watch the star wars prequels what if! this guy makes the best movies!
Am I the only one who like the prequals the most. Just for fun try to look at the original movies you Will find many mistakes. Trust me.
The artificial gravity one makes sense though. If it was turned off then they would start falling towards the planet they're just above which is what they do in the movie
Wow! Someone has WAY too much free time.
Ikr!
Anthony Gretton I am pretty sure this is their job so it is not too much time on their hands.
Did you know that star wars is my favorite series ever!!!
Pretty cool, but I do have to say that the gravity problem you mentioned is caused by the planets gravity as the ship changes its position. The artificial gravity is no longer counterbalances the planets so they are victim to how the ship is turned.
This video doesn't exist because the prequels never happened.
bruh
no matter how hard you dream sadly that is not true
Haha "Star Wars fans" like you make me laugh
My reaction to Star Wars:
Episode 1, 2, 3 = WOAH!!!!
Episode 4, 5, 6 = meh.....
90s movies are shit
The entire Star Wars prequels are a movie mistake
I like the prequels
I kind of liked them.....
+Greer Galloway The mistake was not so much the prequels by themselves, it was George Lucas pulling the shots.
My reaction to Star Wars:
Episode 1, 2, 3 = WOAH!!!!
Episode 4, 5, 6 = meh....
90s movies suck ass
That's a really good point about the lava, I probably never would have caught that.
You know people really like the sword fighting in any of the Star Wars films and as a sword guy I'm just here like "WHAT THE FUCK ARE THEY DOING THEY WOULD BE SO DEAD"
+Heath Dan I know! all the god damned spinning does my head in!
+Heath Dan first of all, jedi are supposed to be extremely skilled fighters, augmented even further by the use of the force, secondly the blade of the lightsaber is almost weightless, so to compare it with traditional swordplay would be silly.
How does that explain the whole "imma just watch him spin instead of stabbing him in the back."
Baconomics101 a skilled fighter does not pirouette instead of stabbing.
Plus all the over swing and the swings that look like they are trying to club their opponent with their sword.
This is fun, but the dial of nit-picky is turned up way too high for my taste.
When JarJar is introducing himself by name and saying "Mesa is your humble servant" his head passes through leafed branches.
5:38, J.J. Abrams entire movie was a mistake. J.J. Abrams was a mistake.
Han Solo dies at the end of 7 Biggest mistake in star wars
+bowens92 Lmao
Hans Olo
+Lennon Henaff the fucking movie was already spoiled online anyway
Obi Wan's beard in Attack of the Clones changes in some scenes
The only GOOD prequel was Revenge Of The Sith!
google.com/starwars choose your side. Login to youtube with the account u use to choose your side then there will be some pretty cool changes starwars related
Yeah its pretty cool.
+The Iguana
Episode 1: Garbage.
+뿡뿡! ^__^ he didn't fucking die
I've seen you before. I always mistake you for Almighty Daygon.
+Sawyer Skog
To be fair Hayden Christensen played Anakin almost exactly how Anakin should be...
Is that sarcasm or not..?
+NOD Gaming What connection does Jar Jar provide? I'm curious?
Jar Jar is the reason the clones even got sent to war... he had the deciding vote on which to give Palp emergency powers or not... meaning he basically opened the door for the Empire to come in.
+NOD Gaming That doesn't make him a good character. It just makes him a dumb character and a lazy and unnecessary plot device.
Never said he's a good character... I'm stating he's the primary connect.
I actually really like the prequels. I do prefer the originals, but the prequels were alright. I even liked Jar Jar Binks.
EVERYONE PUT THEIR FAVORITE STAR WARS CHARACTER OF ALL TIME DOWN BELOW: Mine is Obi Wan Kenobi
Biggest mistake: the prequels.
This shows how good these movies are made! The mistakes mentioned in this clip is Nothing compered to some movies in these days! :)
the prequels are better than the old
im 9 years old and im right
old sucks everyone should die in the old!
well i guest they are not that bad
+Darren Snyder What kind of parent let their 9 year old kid be on youtube LMFAO
+LetMeDoYou not a good one
In this video, the "power cord" at 2:12 is actually a crack in an actual old building, presumably in Italy. So says my eye.
Thanks so so much for making this video!
On Tattoine in Attack of the Clones when Anakin says "Stay here these are good people" to Padme look closely at the shadows of them when they hug.
3:58 Dooku cuts sideways, yet the cut on the arm is perfectly vertical
Should have caught that Mr. SR
In case these have been missed in Episode I:
Wow! The artificial gravity thing is HUGE! I can't believe that never occurred to me...
3 Star War's prequel trilogy biggest mistakes:
1. It was thought of.
2. It was filmed.
3. It was released.
When I watched revenge of the sith I asked the same thing to my friend about gravity in space. You dun screwed up George Lucas
Look at Obi-Wan's hair when fighting Grievous. Nice changes.
I already thought about that gravity thing. However, one could argue that the planet below was close enough for it's gravity to effect the characters on the ship. Especially as the ship began to fall.
people hate on star wars because of two core reasons, jealousy and a lack of imagination, that's all it is
its not the artificial gravity pulling them down, its the gravity from coruscant. the ship is also being pulled down by the gravity :P
