Two independent delay lines 1ms to 9,999ms, each with its own EQ, modulation and output modules; run them in stereo or cascade the two delays in series. The thing I really love about this machine aside from the tons of features is the.sound. It sounds sublime. No wonder they've sold a ton of them, I want one too!

It's really a great sounding pedal and the functionality is incredible. I wish I had the time to deep dive into it more and tweak for hours, but I don't these days. Part of me wishes I could just have someone set presets for me and just have them ready made on hand.

Nice demo. If you turn the gain knob down, the soft-clipping becomes a lot more useful.

Does FTT make anything that doesn't sound incredible? I have their Tri Avatar Chorus, and it's absolutely phenomenal = Alex Lifeson - tones galore. I believe that Mick (TPS) uses this delay. Sounds great Brett.

Really wish they sold an easy switcher to go through the 4 presets like strymon does with volante and the multi switch plus. I’m avoiding learning the ways of midi lol
Hi Brett, is this a brand new FF-1Y or an older FF-1Y? They recently changed the chip at the end of last year (so curious :) Great demo btw - thank you. Oh, and what drive pedal comes in at the end - very nice!
Amazing review Brett! Can I ask you something? I'm using FF-1Y and AS-1R, and wanna make it stereo. As I have Victory V4 Kraken Amp pedal, so I'm gonna place my delay/reverb after the amp pedal and go to mixer directly with Walrus Audio Canvas Stereo. In this Situation, should I adjust my Free the Tone pedal's input level switch to "line level"? By the way, I'm gonna connect this pedals with XLR-TS cable(Kraken Cab sim -> FF-1Y) and TS cables(FF-1Y -> AS-1R -> Canvas). I'm not sure this is a right way :( could you give me some advice for this?

Every demo I’ve heard- the “clipping” sounds awful. But I have this unit and the soft-clip feature sound is great. Just a bit naturally dirty. I don’t understand but be assured, in person it’s very natural sounding.
Hi Brett. First time commenting here. Are you able to recall the 4 presets right on the device, and then tap in the time? Or do you have to assign the tap/preset switch to one fucntion or the other? If that makes sense.
How do you use tap tempo ? Mine ain’t working

A fair question, Stephen. I should have said so my apologies. I used the Axe-FX III because it makes my job easier and quicker. So, signal path: Strat - Axe - '65 blackface Twin model to two Twin cab IRs, left and right. Send the cabs to the Future Factory left and right inputs. Future Factory outputs back to the Axe. For the dirt tone at the end of the video, substitute the Twin for a HIWATT DR103 with a Super Overdrive in front of it and two Fane loaded HIWATT IR's. Axe feeds Logic Pro X via USB. Bounce with the standard Logic limiter, sync to FCPX footage. Done.

Would this be the same as running the delayed signal from a digital delay into a phase shifter? If so then try it with a flanger. What's the difference between phase shifting and phase modulation? One delay is modulating the other? I don't understand how this works.
Regarding your latter question I think Dan has explained it during an episode of 'That Pedal Show'. I can neither put it into words not remember which show it's in. It may be the 'Harmonic Tremolo vs Vibe' one. It's a good video to watch even if it doesn't answer your query. 🙂
