If you're looking for a multi-modulation one-stop shop, well, the M1 will deliver that. But it will do a lot more as well. Dive a little deeper into its second level and you'll discover ways to manipulate those classic effects in ways you may not have thought of. Then you can launch your creation into a gorgeous 'Space' reverb. In fact, you can use the reverb on its lonesome if you wish. This is a deep, fun, inspirational pedal that warrants time spent with it to truly appreciate all that it has to offer. But I wouldn't expect anything else from Walrus Audio. Ace.

That pedal is a corker Brett; dreamy sounds. I love the lo-fi settings, sounds so 60's / 70's.

Amazing Brett. What a great review of what seems to be a one for all modulation pedal!!!! I could surely find a place for it. Brilliant. Take care on tour brother.

Despite the complexity of this pedal, I heard several sounds I would use with my band right away. Chorus, phaser, reverb, rotosound. One oedal to do the work of several. I have a Walrus Audio Slo, and it is amazing. This pedal is astounding as well.

9:00 my favorite sound thus far....love the vibe...and the rotary....tossed 60 bucks at a tc vibraclone for a similar rotary feel bit it’s just a two trick pony...what a beast of a pedal this walrus is

Sounds beautiful. Running it in stereo really makes it shine. Seems a bit complicated and looking forward to that second video. Thanks, Brett.

Holy Hell this pedal is amazing. Your presentation is fantastic! I always sell every digital modulation effect I ever buy, but I'm thinking this is the one. Thank you.

This pedal is puuure madness, I just took the time a few weeks ago to read AT LAST the manual, and I discovered there was also a drive and a reverb inside, just like you mention at 05:00 !!!!! what more can you need ? What's the purpose of having more expensive multieffects units which cost 3 times the price of this one ?

hey Brett, late to the party here.
    I'll assume it's 1 effect per preset?
    No editing software?
sounds good and I like the form factor but the above might over ride that plus.
    I guess I'd need 2 🙄

  • @ozuidema

Good sounds, but too complicated for me. The filter effect should have been a flanger. And the lo-fi knob a volume knob.

Be great if they let you load in different noise carrier signals via midi.

  • @wizardito7741

I love analog flanger effect, if it have 4 knobs (manual, depth, rate, reg.) i can make it sound like another effects (chorus, flanger, tremolo, freq stock, phase ...) but the lack of mix or volume knob its annoying, because every other modulation pedal have one but flangers dont (except for the polychrome and strymon orbit).
Sometimes flangers have too much volume, so i have to use ANOTHER PEDAL (clean boost or eq pedal) JUST TO HAVE A VOLUME KNOB!!!.
Watching this video makes me feel the same thing with my analog flangers WHY DOESN'T HAVE A VOLUME KNOB???
of course it should access that function via usb, but why do i need to connect it just to adjust that parameter...

is it true bypass? or is “always on”
and can’t really be turned completely off? also, is it noisy with distortion pedals?
