    8 years ago I was walking, but I started to have symptoms and pain in my feet, and I used to go to the doctors, and they used to say there is nothing, you just need to drink water and exercise, but after 8 years they discovered that I had a disease in immunity and nerves, I was in a wheelchair four years ago years, and since four years I feel that I am not happy and I try to accept the wheelchair but I can not, every day I watch your story on Instagram it gives me some hope and I feel that I love myself when I see you, but this feeling fades when I turn off my phone, thank you for giving me hope even if was accurate

    Normal is just being average, the thing that is most common is seen as normal. Everything that is divergent from that is seen as different. While most people slowly are starting to see the benefits and beauty of diversity in our daily life, we still have along way to go to include everyone.
    Keep up the good work girl

    You are amazing.
    Just one question: Why did they amputated over your knee? They couldn’t cut under?

    There is differences in everyone we are all unique, and no there is no “normal” or “perfect” because we are all different and unique. We should all be happy healthy and love our own life xxx

    Your not different because of your leg. Your leg is the only thing different. Metal verses fleash. I can't believe a Doctor would try to limit you with their comment about not ever walking. I don't know if you have walked up to him afterwards to prove him wrong, but i would have loved to give him a piece of my mind and your not even my family. What a jurk.... you are a great person and will do what ever you set your mind to. God Bless.l

    I didn't seem to catch in part 1 or 2 if they ever found out why this happened and why it caused so much pain?

    • @ElkeLaleVanAchterberg
      @ElkeLaleVanAchterberg  6 років тому +2

      Julie Hare it’s was the RSD/CRPS it’s very rare a specially for kids and they don’t know a lot about it.

      Nerve trauma and the bodies auto immune response to the trauma, no matter how small that trauma maybe unfortunately 🤗 even with amputation the crps/rsd can migrate (CRPS Type 2) which mine has but it was still the best decision I’ve ever made 🤗 ps: I hope you’ve met some of team gb wheelchair fencing 😉
