Hey guys! Hope this video gave you a realistic insight into what studying at Nottingham Trent University is like, especially for first year - I would love to know your thoughts on studying there if you’re already an NTU Student! I’m also more than happy to answer any burning questions below you have, if you’re a prospective student ❤️⬇️
Thank you that’s all I ever wanted to be in my videos 😊 I hope this video helped any anxieties and I’m just about to reply to your Instagram DM, thank you for contacting me for advice xx
I love your videos so much, I always look forward to your posting days. It's so useful for people looking at the university and course. If you don't mind me asking what do you use to film and edit you videos?💕📚
Aww thank you so much, I really appreciate that you look forward to whenever I post. I’m really happy I can be that uni resource 😊 I film on my Canon G7x mark ii and currently edit on iMovie, I’m saving up to upgrade to Final Cut Pro soon ✨
I happened along your videos today because I've been feeling nervous about starting at NTU in September, I watched a bunch of them and now you uploaded this on the same day. Such luck 🤣❤
Ahaha spooky! Thank you so much for checking out my channel, I hope I was able to relieve some of your anxieties about coming to NTU 😊 If you want more uni content, I post every Tuesday and will be doing more NTU/Nottingham themed videos throughout the summer ✨
Great vid, nice to hear that NTU offers such a great service when it comes to mental health and personal issues. I'm joining NTU this September so maybe I'll see you around! :) 📚
Thank you!! Yeah NTU’s Student Support Services helped me so much with the issues I endured in first year, they always offered me a choice of options and I never felt like I couldn’t reach out for help. That’s great to hear you’re coming to NTU and yeah maybe ☺️✨
Hi, I start in September to study social work. Also at Gill Street South, I was just wondering if it's good accommodation to have? Really excited but also really anxious!
Hey, awesome that you've decided to come to NTU! Yeah don't worry, even though I had a bad experience in my flat at Gill Street South, that does not mean you will. You may find because its closer to campus, the people who have chosen to live there are particularly into partying but there is also equal chance of finding a quiet flat. The second GSS flat I moved into none of my flatmates went out. Im sure you'll have an amazing time regardless - despite my several bad experiences I still loved first year @ NTU and the security team are on hand if you do need help. We also have residence assistants who are 2nd/3rd year students who chose to live in halls to help first years with any problems. I hope this helps relieve any anxiety, let me know if you have any other questions! :)
Depends on your course but typically lectures are the size of 200-300 people and seminars/workshops are from 30-60 people. Tutorials tend to be around the 15 people mark ☺️x
@@eugeniafordjour2847 since you’re looking at a course that’s focused more around design and being practical, you might find that you won’t actually have that many lectures, or any at all, so you’ll probably have more workshops which means a smaller class 😊 It should say on NTUs website, in the section of your course, how they layout your course and the classes. Hope this helps! ☺️
Hey, sorry I dont intend to make you nervous, im just giving my honest review of 1st year and unfortunately i didnt have the best flatmates. However, I know so many people who have great flats in 1st year and end up being best friends with flatmates until 3rd year so don't worry 😊If you ever do end up not liking your flatmates, NTU have things in place to help you, like they did me x
