I've had mine for a year now and have done a plywood floor, two trolling motors, built a pipe dolly to use the boat ramps. Working on seats and a platform for the front and back to store the tackle boxes and use as a bait table. I love this Soo much.
The boat comes with a lil plastic measuring tape that you put by the filling port so you know when it's full. You'd hate to over fill and hit a sharp rock or something but that's the main reason they have multiple filling ports so if 1 bursts for any reason the whole boat won't deflate
That bullhead on a cut plug is crazy. It would be one thing if you got it along the bottom, but long lining with no weight on the surface is even crazier.
My brother calls my inflatable a "raft". It's 60lbs, I have an 82lb, 15hp motor(electric start) on it, will do 26mph. cruising speed. Folds up like an accordion, takes up little space in the truck.
It's better if you put the motor mount on before you blow up the third chamber. Also, many states require registration if you mount a motor. Check your local laws.
A CATFISH !?? lol. Such a serene setting. Fun stuff. I tried another brand of inflatable for lakes good quality. Was uncomfortable with moving around and 2 guys in the raft. I returned it. PK if you have a float tube maybe on a lake like this in a float tube?
Rafts are a little tight and awkward due to its cramped space. I tried a float tube once, but that was even more awkward. The raft is nice when I don't need to haul my boat around.
@@oregonlife how much did that Intex way? I used to have the 12 foot long hobie inflatable kayak with peddle drive. It weighed 80 lbs. But the cellular floor they had was awesome. You could stand up in it. I rigged it with a small lake troller and fish finder. Fished on Tahoe with it. I could troll that puppy at 3 miles an hour pretty easily. It was fun but finally sold it.
You need a registration number in OR if using a motor. Here’s my stickers, I’ll eventually put them on, but if I get pulled over I’ll just spread them out like a hand of cards lol. Hahaha no worries bro, it happens to all of us 💪
Wait is that pond open now? I've checked multiple times and found nothing. I love that place! This was the place you told me about years ago when I asked you about yellow perch
All i did was hold the rod PK gave me. Only value i added was letting line out to 80 ft when 60 ft wasn't yielding bites/fish. My first time so had no idea what i was doing.
It's somewhat resistant, similar to my old Sevylor which I dragged through rocks, gravel, and dirt, and it still held up. However, if you run into a pointed stick out of the water, I'd say you better be a good swimmer.
@@oregonlife I've always thought about doing the exact same thing you did in this video, but worried about one of my hooks getting into the side and the, well, down goes all my gear
@@TheTroutHammer Yea, that's always a concern, especially when you bring in the fish and they thrash around. You just gotta be quick with unhooking it.

"Instructions... don't need that". Great minds think alike.

What's this? Instructions... I don't need that and tosses them! Keep them handy, the paper makes great fire starter! Love it PK!
Great video. So glad that you guys had such a Awesome day. Make some room in that raft & take Lynn . Lol
Thank you for sharing.
Great video, great questions by Jai, can't believe he caught a bullhead on a flasher rig LOLL Thank you PK
I was shocked i got the catfish too!
@@jaikim4499 apparently that Catfish was having identity crisis haha 😆
Agree. Jai asks great questions

Ive got the 5, and we are 6 people in. But of course if you bring equipment it takes place... its not a Ship
Yep I would add a floor board and maybe some blocks screwed to it to mount a chair to.
Yup. The floor board is a work in progress.
Did you ever make a floor board? If so do you have a video on it? Thanks
Great video PK, I enjoyed it. Looked like a beautiful day and the fish were biting, what cud be better?
We also had a bald eagle soar overhead - that was the cherry on top!
@@jaikim4499 I live down the mountain from Lake Don Pedro, Ca. plenty of eagles there. The state keeps feeding them by putting trout in the lake.
wish you would've showed more of the boat while on the water.
Looks good !

It's open now. We were just there a few days ago
Awesome video thank you!
Jay saves the day once again !! He's got the touch. Or, is he keeping the worms warm (in his mouth)?

Bullheads are a nuisance. Thanks for the video 🙂
How many lb thrust is your motor sir? Just curious. Nice video. Thanks for sharing.
Might be 35 #, can't remember. It's an old motor.
Thank you for the video. May I ask what the motor size and shaft length on this?
Could you please tell me which battery inverter and pump you have used to inflate?
What lake is this filmed at?
wich minn kota did you use ?
hi can you put the link to buy the engine support thanks

Its possibile fishing gran Whit this?
Did they have to inspect the raft or did you just register it online?
Online
How well does the material of the raft resist against puncture?

Were can I find the motor mount?
Google "intex motor mount". You will find a lot of options.
hit the box again
✌️❤️🤘🖤
Instructions... Don't need that! 😂
Try crabbing from it
Don't handle Trout with dry hands, it removes their protective slime.
Why let the catfish go? I would have eaten that one
I'm not a catfish fan. But they are fun to catch though.
Sorry my Friend. Thats not the best😅. INTEX Mariner 4 is very much the better quality.
Instructions.....toss them aside, dont need that!!
could u take a dog in one of these?
I don't see why not. Plenty of room in it.
