Great job! Thank you! Bought this for trips to the lakes and ponds with my grandson. Looks like I made a good decision choosing the Intex. Will let you know.
Pumping by hand doesn't 'take all day'. I have the Mariner 4 and each cell takes about 60 pumps so it's all done in less than 10 minutes. Good idea though with the mini leaf blower
Great video mate thanks, can I ask does the blue slatted foor rest on the inflatable keel/tube? Didnt show that in the video and how much you inflate it and is the battery a lead acid or lithium type battery? Thanks.
Heheh those two way pumps for low pressure boats like this are actually way faster than this electric=]]]] and if you are tired at some point do a break and take stuff to the lake before pumping again.
AND they won’t inflate it to the correct pressure. They will help getting you really close but then you need to use the manual pump to finish it off. With the correct pressure those boats are solid!
You need to get a 12V lifepo4 battery which is more expensive than lead acid but if you buy decent one it will last you many years and peace of mind you can drain in to 0 without worries. Can't to that with regular battery. 50Ah will last you about 1 hour at mixed speeds, 100AH about 2 hours at mixed speeds. Watch the plus terminal (if you're using motor at 5 speed constant)will will become very hot to touch and could met stuff or damage something. Extra fuse would be good it will also become very hot to touch at top speeds. just my .02c
Love the video man! I don't have a boat or a motor but this is the design I was planning on buying. And I wanted more information about it so thank you so much! Something I can do with the wife and kids maybe fishing with the friend later on lol thank you!❤

Hey, I have an Intex Mariner 4 that recently had three Punctures. Do you have an exclusive video or suggestions for repairing this?
Yeah. I did video on patching it
Great Effort. Once it is inflated can we deflate it and store for long time..?
Yup
I'm going to buy it to use it in the sea. Any problems for that?
Don’t think so. But would need stronger motor
Can you use the air pump to deflate?
Yes. Lots of pumps have that feature
pumping by hand only takes 15 min.
👍

@@Sonikbytes appreciate the feedback. planning to use more this year, so good to know. thanks
@@HowToWithLech can you clarify how long is the battery last? Thanks
Slow down dude. Looks like your rushing.
Yeah. It’s hot as heck and wanted to get in the water 👍😂
Putting the battery in a cooler seems sketchy. The insulation might keep it from shedding heat.
It’s a short trip. Wasn’t sealed tight. But agree
👍
This was an amazing video! I'm looking for something like this and whatever I get, i will definitely come back to this video for reference!
Awesome! Thank you!
Great video man! How long would you say this battery lasts with continuous use?
haven't had a chance to test it to that point honestly. used raft for rafting few times after, so no motor.
Bad as ... Cool I got the motor. But can you use it on any floating RAF🤔
If has mounting don’t see why not
Should you put a safety rope around your motor in case it falls off your motor mount
Once mounted it’s secure. Had no issues with that. But doesn’t hurt to 👊
Does it come with the motor mount or did you have to buy it?
Had to buy. I think mount was about 30-40
Nice job, man! Thx for this
👊🥺

I just bought one. Great video man!
