In the line shown at 2:10, what should be black's response if white moves Qf3? Also, what if white's fifth move (at 0:55) is pawn to f3? I thought black's best response is to move the knight Nh5, but then white responds with g3. What should be black's response now? I tried thinking of many options to deal with these situations and maintain the advantage but couldn't come up with anything good 🤔
2:40 after white king moves out of the way theres a pretty cool line with Bg2 and if black gets a little greedy they might take the pawn and lose the queen to Bxc6 check discovered attack on the queen
nextchessmove.com/?fen=3k4/6Rp/1p6/8/3Pp3/8/PP2BPPP/2R3K1%20w%20-%20-%200%201 did a stockfish analysis and capturing the light square bishop and then queen side castle is the best move.
In 14:55 stockfish says that its +11(massive advantage for white). And when you analyze the position for a few seconds, you can see that black actually can't keep the attack going on (d3 is coming)...
The Stafford gambit, if not responded to properly, will devastate white! I have had the opportunity to use it several times and thus far it is undefeated!
You didn’t mention any strategies if opponent plays queen F3. I’ve tried this gambit several times against A.I. And every response is queen F3. I feel like there’s not much advantage with that response.
After 3:50 white is in a great position. Bxg4 is a threat, white can castle and push f3 and black loses a piece. I don't understand what black gets by paying that particular line.
I believe another variation plays h7 and puts the knight on g4(fishing pole idea) if be2 is played. Then black can play qd6, threatening mate, which leads to white to playing g3 and black playing qxg3 which leads to mate.
What I face most now is d3 and after Bc5, Be2 or h3, preventing knight going to g4. I know I have to throw in h5 somewhere but how to continue attacking? Unfortunatly you didn't show any Be2 or h3 lines.
As black, I reached the exact same position at 1:56 minutes then white played Qe2 & I was toast!. Wasn't sure what to do since it was a blitz game. I checked the engine which had white up at about +1.5 pawns with this position... bummer.
In the e5 line, the video neglects to mention (after Black plays Qh4) that White can play Nxe4, and White should be fine after Black plays Qxe4 inviting White's response Qe2. Black moves its Q, and White plays c3 intending d4 to protect the e5 pawn and solidify White's position.
What if white plays h3 instead of e5,Nc3 or d4 etc. at 1:30 Can you please reply with the possible challenges black has to face to reach a better or tie situation.
Tunneling Weasel I agree, but you’re basically just losing a tempo because you need to move the knight away. Then white can protect the pawn and I just feel like black has lost momentum.
at 6:37 what will be the next sequence of moves if white took the knight on e4? Qxe4+ you can snatch a pawn after he blocks with either the bishop or queen. is it the best move or could capitalize more out of the situation?

Oh I like this a lot! I have had this position before and did not realized any of these traps. Definitely going to use this. Thanks 👍 from the great explanation :)
I studied this opening thoroughly but how should I play if my opponent responds to it like: 1.e4-e5 2.Nf3-Nf6 3.Nxe5-Nc6 4.Nxc6-dxc6 5.d3-Bc5 6.Be2-h5 7.c3
Around m13 you consider white playing Nc3 after dxc6, then look at weak moves for white such as Be2 and Bc4 after ..Bc5 instead of the strong move h3.Why is this?
There is a line i cannot refute in game which this video didnt indicate. 9:41 after that my opponents usually play be2 and i can't win back the pawn nor the game. Someone pls tell me the best continuation after that?

that how these video makers play. They just skip the troubling part. They would make your point in other video named How to tackle stafford gambit.
