    Great video!!!! I can't wait to try your recipe but with butter and veggie broth (I am a vegetarian). I hope i get the same results!!! Do you have a video on how to put it in the corn husks?

    • @CookingwithGloria
      @CookingwithGloria  2 місяці тому +2

      Great question! 😊 When adding masa to the husk, you’ll want to spread about 2 to 3 tablespoons of masa onto the smooth side of the husk, starting near the wider end. Leave about 1 to 2 inches at the top and sides to make folding easier. Then, add your filling in a straight line near the center before folding the husk. Let me know if you’d like more tips!

    Thank you for sharing, but what do you do if the masa doesn't float to the top?

    • @CookingwithGloria
      @CookingwithGloria  2 місяці тому +1

      You’re welcome! 😊 If the masa doesn’t float, it might need a little more mixing or liquid to achieve the right consistency. Try adding a bit more broth or water and mix again.

    How many tamales does this make ?

    • @CookingwithGloria
      @CookingwithGloria  2 місяці тому

      This recipe usually makes about 20 to 25 tamales, depending on their size. 😊 Hope that helps, and enjoy making them!

      @@LayloniGarza hello beautiful you should get about 30 tamales nice and thin, but if you want them chunky, you will get about 20 tamales🙋‍♀️❤️🙏🏻
