Could have been the greatest show in existence with another season to flesh out the plot points. Long night should have been almost an entire season. 30 min is fine i guess , not like it's been building up for 9 years or anything.
Only winter time should be multiple seasons. The winters in this world last longer than summers, and the past summer was longest in history and should signify decades long winter. "Long summer means even longer winter" is a saying which id constantly brought up in the show and books aswell. With rise of the white walkers the winter is that much harsher and darker. I'm totally behind Daenerys going mad it makes sense for the character and in books it's even hinted, but the way it's presented in the show is just horrible. It's literally like she's a teenager who didn't have it her way so she threw a massive hissy fit.

Dany does this as Jon did for her, and to save her people. Jon marries Dany by high septor as she no longer has titles or claims as Cersei removed all titles, and wanted her executed; and Jon protects her by making her his wife and Lady of Winterfell bringing North to Cersei in return for marriage and Dany pardon. Cersei agrees reluctantly. White Walkers and Others come to Kings Landing and vicious battle ensues. Jamie dies protecting Sansa and Brieanne from Night King, completing his arc. Bran is in a deep trance and he discovers how to destroy NK and the Other, by destroying Tree a Winterfell as its life was what created NK to be destroyed. Jon and Dany take dragons to Winterfell and NK follows on Viserion. Cersei, Euron die trying to escape by Viserion ridden by NK. Jon fights NK in a legendary battle of sword fighting getting mortally wounded but ends up defeating him, as Dany and Drogon kills the tree with his flames; and allows NK and dead to be eradicated. Upon returning to Kings Landing, Jon is injured badly and Maesters do all they can but he dies in Danys arms. All claimants to the thrones have been killed, leaving only Dany to take the Thrones, she does. Her first action is to award the North to Sansa, making her Queen in the North, in honor of the North’s and Jon sacrifice. Fast forward five years, Queen Dany visits Winterfell Crypt and honor Jon. When she leaves, she picks up her son, and calls for Aegon VII to kiss his father statue goodbye. Jon and Danys son will inherit the Irone Thrones from his parents, King Jon and Queen Dany of House Targaryen. The End!
