The Western singer Johnny Western often sang it. It was the perfect song 🎶 for the movie 🎥 Junior Bonner.

Rod & I knew many of the same Prescott locals including my dear family friend Lois Merritt Ward who was raised at Camp Wood & lived for decades a few miles out Williamson Valley Road. Unfortunately, I never saw your talented Dad perform in-person but, when we lived in Flagstaff, we'd go see Johnny Western sing your Dad's incredibly lyrical song, Arizona Morning, at Little America & once at a venue in Reno, Nevada. I no longer reside in Prescott, but, every time I hear his song, I get 'verklempt'. Please tell your Dad hello for me.
